I wish they would make the Salty herba's more available. The 2-3% drop rate is too low
You don't need salty herba as there are some alternative sandwich recipes that just need two herba
That’s not the only way to make a sandwich
You don't need salty specifically, look up the updated sandwich recipes. Cucumber, pickle, 3 toppings to decide typing and any 2 herba.
Most of these spawns you need only encounter 2, you don't need to waste herba's.

Espeon is my favorite Pokémon and I wanted a shiny Espeon for a while but did not know where to start. This helped a ton and I will definitely do this once i get the herba mystica

You are correct it's probably one of the easiest games to shiny hunt Pokemon. I actually recently exceeded the amount of shinies I picked up in PLA. Percentage of the DEX is still lower, due the variances in DEX sizes. On a side note you should be using the new date skip method for changing raid dens. By bringing your clock forward by one minute.

You don’t even need to change your day or time just press ok and it works
There is a list i found with new sandwiches that use 1 salty herb then any other herb except for bitter and it makes encounter 3 sparkling 3 title 3, they are very basic for example 1 ham with spicy and salty would make ground sandwich
Make sure the sun doesn't set halfway through your sandwich, because Espeon only spawns during the day.
Stand in front of team stars fighting base and pop steel sandwich. Boom free pawniard and bisharps :)

I found a place where you can farm Slowpoke and slobros 24/7. Just ironic they spawn instantly and I've done it twice and so far no shiny >_>

So I found a shiny marked ditto by accident and screeched, so I'll tell you how! Right north of Medali is a little cliff-thing. Step outta Medali and you're there. Make your sandwich of choice (dark or normal). Zorua will be disguised as: Tropius, Pineco, Mabosstiff, Breloom, Sawsbuck, Foongus, and Sudowoodo. They all have the same AI: Slowly walking around, then, once spotting you, running away (not as fast as sudowoodo). Note that Zorua disguised as Mabostiff, Breloom, and Sawsbuck will NOT have their pre-evolution around it. I figure ditto's the same thing, but wandering around the city directly. It disguises as Persian, Meowth, Dedenne, Voltorb, Electrode, and a couple others probably. Remember that your auto-battler does NOT KO shinies, and that these shinies appear as regular pokemon. By targeting the Pokemon, you can tell if it's a ditto/zorua or not. Hope this helps a tad-!

"no effort" that's misleading. You have to put in serious effort to raid a bunch of dens for herba mystica. I have raided around 100 of 5* and nothing.
Can't raid 6* for crap so that doesn't help

probably only with flutter mane, the thing with it is that its a ghost type, and pretty sure most ghost types dissappear got a second and then reappear (like gastly), so what i understood from the flutter mane glitch is that they appear and dissappear not only because its day/night time (dont remember which one spawned it since i have violet) but because they do appear and dissappear (again, like gastly) at the same time.
The reason shinies dont do this is because, like a few other shinies in this game, theyre programmed differently so you have the highest chances to not miss it (for example, shiny voltorb doesnt explode, shiny sudowoodo doesnt run as fast and doesnt dissappear) and i believe same thing for gastly, flutter mane etc. Theyre programmed so they dont dissappear and hence you dont miss them. Would be better if they just kept the sparkles and noise from legends arceus though
Off topic question but does anyone know if they updated the event Pokémon dates where you only have access to them during those specific dates even if you don’t connect to the internet? I was busy this weekend so I updated my game and then when I tried today (with my switch on airplane obviously) I didn’t see the cinderace Tera spawn :/
Cinderace raids are over for now but in the news tab I believe it says they will return later this month

I’m also looking for people to add who wanna have fun 6v6 battles where we use are favorite Pokémon and teams no BS meta boring stuff please let me know if your interested. I’ve been playing Pokémon since I was a kid in the 90s with red and blue I’m 31 and I remember challenging kids on the play ground and friends with my link cable and we would use are favorite Pokémon and teams and our own strategy not some stupid bs meta garbage copy paste team that you don’t even like the Pokémon it just helps you win that’s so dumb.
I’m a dragon type trainer and I’ll gladly challenge anyone who wants to have a fun 6v6 battle with no meta aloud
