All of these shinies I'm getting is just like a Christmas present from Gamefreak
Honestly kinda sucks how easy it is in this game.. before was so hard to find them and they were special. I had atleast 10 before I finished game and have found tons more sence just with shiny charm I'll run around clearing raids for a couple hours and usually find 1 or 2 without really paying close attention
Accurate
In order to shiny hunt Iron Moth using this method, don't start by jumping into the crater like Blaines did (it causes a known glitch that causes the Iron Moths to fly up out of your reach). Instead, go into the Area 0 building, and go to facility/complex 1. Once outside, make your way up to where Blaines was in the video (checking the Iron Moths that spawn along the way), and set things up from there. This negates the glitch, and keeps the Iron Moths from "being raptured by Arceus"!
(I used the method to get 2 shiny Iron Moths just last night, so I guarantee that it works. 👍)

I didn’t try this method of entering for a shiny hunt. But This may also help with shiny hunting corviknight. (Steel sandwich) They do fly up when they spawn in.
Also an important bit of advice, in case people didn't know. Your pokemon can't auto battle shinies.

@@jeremyknees9227 yes, that's the important part of shinny hunting even when you are roaming or have doubt if it's a shinny or not before you fight something. Your pokemon would just refuse to let'go fight it if one is a shinny

@@nfry5813 most of the AFK shinny hunt mention this. Because it's the key function of stopping the auto battle when a shinny spawns. You can particularly look up afk shinny Applin hunt videos
For those that have Violet I don’t recommend using this method to hunt Iron Moth for some reason as soon as one spawns in it immediately flies away
Yeah kind of wish Blaines would do a video on a good place to hunt Iron Moth instead of showing off these methods in Scarlet. Roaring Moon is hard to hunt for Scarlet players because of its typing. For us Violet players it's Iron Moth because what changes on it is so damn easy to miss.
The method does work for shiny hunting Iron Moth (used it to get 2 just last night). However, instead of immediately jumping down into the crater, go inside the building, and go to facility 1. Once outside, make your way up to where Blaines was in the video (checking the Iron Moths that spawn along the way), and you'll be able to set things up from there. If you start from facility 1 and make your way up from there, the Iron Moths at the top won't fly away as if Arceus (or Dialga) were calling them home!
(It's a known glitch that causes Iron Moth to fly up like that.)

So when I do this, for some reason all of the Iron Moths just float up into the air like it's the rapture, and I can't interact with them. Lol

Climb that rock slightly and nothing spawns inside the rocks and you can see every single spawn while your pokemon auto battles, I found it to be a much better spot to sit for this location :) Thanks!
If you use gholdengo to auto battle, it makes it pretty much automatic

This'll help me get the Shiny Iron Valiant for my Scarlet version. I pre-ordered both versions so I can get all Shiny Paradox Pokemon. (Except Miraidon and Koraidon of course as they're shiny-locked sadly.) Great video.

Great video! I already knew about this method, but it can never hurt for it to get more coverage. Glad to see you called it semi-automatic in the title, as I know some UA-camrs would call it fully automatic. Hopefully we get more methods like this soon!
I would recommend Gallade for this hunt, it is psychic type, learns falls swipe + hypnosis and is much faster than flutter mane.
It's way faster to view distance despawn them...I found one without a shiny charm in 3 minutes.
In lvl of A0 there is a stone pillar where you can manipulate spawns to spawn on the caddy corner, corner of the pillar. Next auto battle until shiny

I finally got Herba and can’t wait to shiny hunt
Theres unused door behind a bookcase On the Third Floor Of The School, Go up The left stair case before you get to the center Go lean up against the wall then All The Down On Camera And Press in (R3) There’s a door behind a bookcase. I thought maybe a It’s a Mystery Gift like Ya get an item of like a book? Or maybe like a Rotom Form Room like In platinum? Any time a mystery gift is ever leaked it never happens, kinda like in X and Y of Volcanin. Let a mystery remain a mystery and put away the leakers to rest, nightmare yawn & memento.
Tried twice between other fighting types spawning and my poke constantly returning im out 4 heba with nothing to show for it.
Same issue with me.
Always save before making a shiny sandwhich to recover your herba if you don't get anything notable
I wish I knew this before I got all of my paradox shinies lol.
fyi you need encounter power for this to work, sparkling power or shiny charm makes this easier/quicker but not required
As someone who recently mark-hunted shiny Slither Wing for several days, while this method does work, the AI of your Let's Go mon is semi-reliable at best and you'll find it will constantly require resetting not only when there are no mons nearby, but also because it's pathing gets interrupted or starts looping. You will eventually get it but your rate of respawns in pretty slow in comparison. If you want to do it faster, the area at the bottom of the cliff over that fence is better to use when you're doing your slow-run, camera pan, standard hunt, especially if you clear the pack-spawns there first.

So I tried this with iron moth and they all just fly up 50 ft into the air where I can’t auto battle them 😢

I tried to do exactly this for slither wing and I guess I just couldn't figure out where to stand
I'm still convinced that we need all event raid to have a change to drop herba mystica. Otherwise these raids are almost junk. The charazard and Cinderace ones are the ones that matter to me. And yes I don't want to grind a stupid list of Pokemon raid for a small chance for one item. It just seems too grindy.
Even if you manage to get the potential Mon, you're still not guaranteed to get a herb mystica. As someone not fond of changing the time clock, it's frustrating having to wait for more chances to get one. That's if they even spawn at all in dens....
@@mrsuperheatran2794 @MrSuperHeatran yeah but even then if you try to join a raid it's just as bad. All I'm saying is that they need other ways to get these Herbs or something. I can only hope they'll have something in the DLC. If I had to guess we could see a BP exchange for herba mystica. Though it would be at a stupid high price.
@@justinholdt1806 Being able to get whichever mystica flavor you want would be nice- especially with that recipe that requires 2 salty herb.

I assume so, as long as your in the caves
Iron Valiant can be isolated encountered outside the caves,
You can’t really do roaring moon that reliably because hydragon’s pre-evo spawns there and is the same type as roaring moon

If you’re looking for Sandy Shocks, got to the bottom of the rocky incline to the left of research station 2, and do basically the same thing. Got one in 20 min

I've done this for one and a half hours now and still no shiny.
I wish I could get shiny slither wing but I have violet. I’ve pretty much have all the violet paradox shinies except iron moth cause you can barely tell if it’s shiny.
Honestly I just use encounter level 2 and got shiny iron thorns from it🤷♂️ I also did this for charcadet and got 2 yesterday! Stop wasting your herbs! Grind the charm and boom! No more herbs needed! Unless you dont have much time but I work and still have time to grind👌
Especially with these last 2 videos posted about auto or semi-auto hunts. It will take longer with lvl 2 but if it's automatic what does it matter lol
@@dharve0280 Its actually really fast if you have the charm! on my first sandwhich I got the shiny charcadet in less than 5 min! also got a random skiddo... but for sure it just really depends on your rng and whether you have the charm or not. In reality do as you please I guess, I just rather stick to not wasting herbs and saving them for rarer spawns1

Tbh i thought this is how you were supposed to hunt for shinies in this game. Even without a sandwich, i went to an outbreak and this is how i got my shiny dragapult

You can clear an entire outbreak with this and get no shiny. This is unlimited spawns theoretically, so it’s essentially a guaranteed Shiny.
@@DizRod that's the same logic as any Pokémon being shiny. You encounter enough of them and you WILL get a shiny. That's silly logic

for me revabroom is the best pokemon for autobattles - very fast movement speed, can fly, "surf", climb, etc as well. Not to mention it has a fantastic offensive typing

Paradox pokemon must be the easiest shiny hunts out there I managed to get all of mine in the first few days of the release.
Iron Thorns took me a while and Iron Moth was hard to spot but other than that it was easy yeah, fun hunt tho. Love my sleek silver future paradox mons

Honestly, with how stupidly easy it is for Flutter Mane’s pathing to get broken resulting in it just sitting idle in one spot, I’m not sure this can be considered Any kind of automatic.
If the masuda method plus shiny charm makes the odds 1/512 would it be fair to say that 17-18 boxes full of eggs from 1 pokemon (ditto+meowscarada for example) being 14x30=__ 1 guaranteed shiny sprigatito??

I still have my Koraidon duped on my Scarlett version in my party, my question is has anyone done an online raid with the duped legendary in their party? I want to do the even but I don't want to risk my ability to dupe items.
