They made a simple spaceship explosion look like a supernova. Honestly this beats Death Star's explosions (all of them, whatever they call them)😂
Maybe it’s that payload that the ship is carrying
Yeah I thought that In Space, no one can hear your... nuclear explosion...
There goes 42 million in adjusted dollars minus payload of course.
"They can _BILL_ me!!" 😅
Alien 1979 upscaled to 4K from the Blu-ray version, with no DNR used. Edited and color graded in HDR and Dolby Vision. Although UA-cam currently doesn't support Dolby Vision, the video is HDR compatible. If UA-cam ever supports Dolby Vision in the future, this video should play in Dolby Vision as intended.
- Watch in HDR for best results! Watching this in SDR may produce colour inaccuracies due to the way UA-cam converts HDR to SDR.

I think that we can all agree that Ripley works best when under pressure 😮
Which is what makes her so relatable. She's usually pretty chill and passive, but rises to the occasion and takes leadership under pressure.
The ONLY special effects in this entire movie that look cheesy and dated and B movie quality is the Nostromo explosion. Other than that this movie is pristine in every way and looks even more real and more believable than most sci fi movies made today 45 years later.
The whole time the alien came on board the shuttle with Ripley. That's 42 million dollars down the drain.
The video quality is just remarkable. Are you using commercially available software or proprietary software? I'm sure there are lots of old geezers like me who would like to take some of their favorite oldies on blu-ray and upscale them to 4K.
Hey!!!! That was just getting to the good part. Hmmph.
Sorry, but if it's from Fox/Disney, I have to keep it under three minutes without an end screen. Otherwise, the video will be blocked. Tomorrow, you'll see Ripley in her underwear.
You keep on torturing us... 😢😅
What I don’t understand if the ship is going forward then how did she see the explode wouldn’t been from the rear.
Good point. Movie mistake. You are completely right.
Her rearview mirror was just really big. 👍
The entrance of the ship has a door that lowers down. This door has a window.
I think she's going in reverse.
The xenomorph is not dead ,he escaped and on shuttle with Ellen Ripley.
