I've posted on your videos before... I'm 73 now. Started at 254. After 2 years of keto and the past year on carnivore my weight this morning 171. 95% of ALL other health issues have gone away. The only thing left is an enlarged prostate, but seems to be getting better. Hopefully in another 6 months to a year, it will be back to normal too.

God bless him. That's how I found out about the carnivore diet. I particularly remember his line about trying it for a month, "Whatever. I can hang by my fingernails from the windowsill for a month. It's just not that big a deal." I immediately watched Dr. Baker on Joe Rogan, which helped settle my worries ("I'm going to die of a heart attack if I eat that much meat!") -- enough to give it a month trial. After a week of brain fog from carb withdrawal, I felt great. Better mood, better energy, better mental clarity, lost 40 pounds effortlessly, improvement in blood markers, etc. Five years later and I'm still chugging along, feeling good.

I am amazed by this. For almost eight years I have been 100% plant based, a full on vegan. Since it is very important for me to be healthy my diet has been whole foods and also some supplement and regular blood work. It's been great, no real problems throughout the years. Recently (few weeks back) I started to be open to animal products again. Slowly adding more animal products and less plants and lower carbs, and I feel better than ever in every way. Telling my N=1 story to help get the message out there:
During the extreme lockdown here in the Philippines, January 2021 I was obese type 2 with pre-diabetes and high blood pressure. I was suffering from metabolic syndrome. I understood the comorbidity I had as a 58 year old would greatly affect me if I contracted the Rona. I had to lose fat, reverse hypertension, reverse my NAFLD and reduce my HbA1c.
Sitting in my armchair at the beginning of lockdown I saw that the keto/ketovore/carnivore diet claimed it could ‘cure’ my ailments. I watched a bunch of videos and tried to make sense of the linked papers supporting the claims. End result was that it simply made a lot of sense to me.
8 months later, whilst still sitting in my armchair (most of the time). I had lost the 30kg/66lbs of fat that was required to get me down to a ‘normal’ BMI, I GREATLY improved my blood pressure to the point it raised my wife’s eyebrows, she’s a First Responder. My blood sugar was well back in to the ‘normal’ range and I vastly reduced inflammation.
I also reversed IBS that had controlled my life for 40 years (I lost jobs because of it), got rid of decades long debilitating heartburn, my Testosterone went up drastically and I stopped snoring … my wife is happy 🤓 I was ‘foggy’ & forgetful, possible early stage MCI, I sometimes also slurred my words and forgot what I was talking about mid sentence, this has completely reversed! Undiagnosed but recognised by my family I got out of a bad case of lockdown depression.
A few months ago I further decided to cut out most vegetables from my meat heavy Keto WOE, only adding on occasion a little onion, garlic, green peppers and tomato for some flavour… always salting to taste. Improvements are continuing with a pace with better mental health, blood markers, skin condition etc.
Simply eating nutrient dense meat, HEAVY in animal fat, eggs, seafood, salmon … single ingredient real food is all it took …
Whilst cutting out processed food, sugar/carbohydrates and seed/‘vegetable’ oils and most dairy.
We THRIVE when eating our evolved, species specific Proper Human Diet along with some intermittent fasting to mimic the way our ancestors survived.
I’m sure there are thousands upon thousands of people that have similar anecdotal stories to tell … Please tell them … get the message out there!

I've been carnivore since Nov 22. I've umpired field hockey for over 20 years. Every year I'd always feel tense going into the hard games. I gave away doing the higher grade games over 3 years ago. Part of stress was caused from watching both my parents succumb to dementia over a period of years. They both passed away over a 18months ago now so I thought I would get better stress wise. The tenseness was still there with umpiring in 2022, but disappeared this year after being on carnivore. It was really noticeable. Now the stress has gone I'm moving back up the ladder with the harder games. Nothing seems to phase me. Thanks to you and Jordan Peterson and all the others leading me down this path of proper eating.

Been carnivore for 1.5 years now and all my symptoms are gone. I don’t have an ounce of body fat on me and my hair started growing in thicker and blonder. After about 6 months to a year I put my hair back one day and noticed I couldn’t see my scalp anymore and I was like “wthhhh” so I started pulling all the strands forward and sure enough I had new hair growth and all those hairs were short- about 3 inches in length. Hey Dr. Baker, Seattle boy here. It's a funny story how I stumbled upon carnivore. I was looking for a diet for cuttin fat and watching inspirational weight lifting videos and a video you did with Stan and another guy came up and ya'll were sitting around a table and you said, "Red meat is all you eat." I was like: no fkn way is this guy just eating meat. But you looked good so I google carnivore diet. Watched the Petersons' testimonials/Joe Rogan/Ken Berry and then started changing my diet little by little for weeks until I only had 20-50g of carbs coming in so then I started carnivore in totality just to see how I would feel after a month or two. Now I'm feeling so good I'm not sure if I want to jump back into what I was doing before. It's nice to see a six pack without having to starve yourself haha. Been Carnivore 90 days. Started 6'2 at 235 lbs and lost 35 lbs the first 6 weeks. Sitting around 200lbs now. Zero gut inflammation or bloating now. All the weight I've lost has been water and fat. I kept all my muscle. I body build 1-2 times HIT training a week and have a very physical job. I find as I look back ancestrally, they werent working 10 hours a day and HIT training, most likely, so I have found that I do need to supplement carnivore with Vitamin C for muscle repair, and magnesium and calcium through the extra physical activity. My natural hunger is around 2 meals a day now. It's weird to go your entire life eating a shit diet and never knowing what normal is suppose to be until your 33 years old haha. A weird side effect I didnt expect is I can stay out in the sun for a very long time before a burn sets in. I used to burn in 20-30 min during high sun 11am-1pm, now I can be out the entire day and I'll get a tiny bit red but it tans by the next day. I did notice that for a week during the first few weeks that my testosterone had probably dropped, I had a few emotional moments in the kitchen while I was cooking.. could have been conflated with not having to worry about what to eat anymore.. but I did notice this came to pass , especially after upping the fat ratio and now I feel very stoic. I have no anxiety about food or anything anymore, social anxiety is non existent too. Everything just feels very normal and regular. I have endless energy and don't get tired, I get sleepy when it's time for bed. I sleep about an hour less than before. I'll get around 6.5 hours a night and feel great the whole day. Anyways, thank you Dr. Baker for what you are doing and for inspiring people to not be scared and eat nutritious food!

Keto gets you going in your health journey but Carnivore takes you over the finish line. I found this way of eating April 17th 2022, I was very obese, on medication for anxiety, drank too much and smoked too much. Fast forward to today, I'm 110 lbs lighter, off all medications, stopped snoring, psoriasis has decreased to almost non-existent, I've quit smoking and now have an occasional social drink. My gums use to bleed when I brushed my teeth, that's stopped, and the strangest thing, I no longer have ear wax (no idea what that's about). I've since begun working out at home and my confidence as a man, (some may call it toxic masculinity😅) has grown 100%, and my marriage because of this has never been stronger. All because someone only eats meat, salt and water? Can't be true, can it?!

My journey only started a few months ago. But i'd have to say, it mirrors JBPs telling of his journey... Lost weight, despite not even trying... Even on a "healthy diet" according to main stream health professionals, i couldn't seem to shed anything. But that was never my priority. I've been tired all my life. Never been able to wake up in the morning. I've been in a haze most of my life. - It wasn't until i switched to Carnivore, my brain fog lifted, and i learned what that was... I was so used to it, i never even realized i had it !?
It's scary, and literally un-believeable the positive effects this lifestyle has... Most i talk to about it, have a very hard time getting it... But it is hard... The major drawback of this lifestyle, has to be the price of meat... It's really expensive to live healthy... But as i see it... It's worth it, and it saves you time and money on doctors and hospitals in the future... So money well spent....

I'm 67 and it was nearly 3 months when I finally realized that I wasn't stuck on food. Even on carnivore early on there was still the nagging thought that I'd fall off the wagon like I had with Keto. Almost 3 months in and I no longer have that fear. I think it is helping me, I have a long road yet because I have basically had a lifetime on carbs. Something that I dawned on this past week is that when I was born I could not digest a lot of foods which would have otherwise be giving me nutrition. This my mother attributes to me being 2 months premature and many things had not formed yet. So I find I get far more nutrition from liquids than solids, but having switched to a carnivore diet I excel on steak and ground beef. Much better than eating any vegetable, where the fibre in the vegetable inflames my digestive process and that swelling prevents all digestion. Certainly, getting my consumed fat content up really helps as it seems to bridge the inability to digest solid foods. This may actually be something I will need to explore further if i want to travel as some places in the world do not have great meat selections.

Energy levels off the hook, and recovery from exercise is almost immediate. No significant soreness, where I used to have it for at least 72 hours after a hard ride. I can ride the next day and be fine. I've also leveled up my rock climbing, but that's mostly due to weight loss I'm sure
