They wouldn’t have worked on 3 consecutive films together if they both didn’t know that they’re both amazing. Branagh is more experienced in directing, but sees Nolan as an equal. Real recognises real.
Kenneth Branagh Hamlet absolutely blow my socks off! Utterly spellbinding! He is responsible for for my love & experience of Shakespeare and I can’t thank him enough! 😁🤩
Got wrong one & was so annoyed, longer was hard to find. Helped my recovery when I was stuck inside- Hamlet & KB in Othello with brilliant Laurence Fishburne. Hope Venice is good.
The fact that Kenneth even managed to get that film made is a remarkable testament to his own tenacity and what was possible in the film business in the 1990's. It is THE best Hamlet ever shot on film and I'll make a ghost of he who says otherwise.
I actually saw Brannagh's Hamlet in the theaters back in the day and loved every single second of it. I dont need to pretend i saw it, i DID SAW IT where it was intended to be seen. Yeah! Does that makes my life better for it? Not at all. Still the same loser, as then as now.
When that one introvert friend cracks a joke 😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The smile when he lands the punchline 🤌💯👌💍
Its best when we get to have fun with friends 😂
He went for the blood 😅
Kenneth Branagh is amazing and Nolan knows it! And by the way, I have watched Ken's Hamlet quite a few times in all its 4 hour splendour!

Rubbish init - 4 hours I’ll never get back! Boy it dragged. Mel
Gibson’s Hamlet is better.
@@TheAdArchive your opinion, not mine!
Kenneth and Nolan partnership really goes under the radar!
I hated his character in tenet but he was brilliant in oppenheimer
@@ToxicTurtleIsMadwell... that's the point, to hate his character in Tenet lol
Kenneth Branagh needs an Oscar for acting.
I think he's gotten every Brit award there is. But us Yanks and our Oscar... well.
And also directing 🎉❤
Well he does have an Oscar for screen writing
@@jbm421 but not for acting
For Wild Wild West
It's the only Hamlet I've ever seen in its entirety. It's brilliant!
Nolan has this Di Caprio face. He could have been a movie star, too. Hahahah
Kennedy Branagh is amazing.💯👏
Yes he is.
Yep
Get this man a Netflix special!

His Thor is still one of my favorite marvel movies.
In all seriousness, Kenneth's Hamlet is definitely the best out of the many film adaptations.
Zeffirelli's and Olivier's are better, imo. Brannagh changed the time period.
In 2 separate English literature classes we watched Kenneth’s Hamlet. It was really great
It's actually a brilliant movie, engaging from start to end
Though sometimes the Early Modern English can make it difficult to comprehend the lines
I love your profile picture, definitely Aphex Twin's best album cover
@@BugVlogsThanks, the video is wild too. I also love the grin on his RDJ album cover :)
@@AshrafAnamI agree some parts are hard to understand, though Branagh manages to help with visuals and flahbacks. Also, subtitles are a must imo.
When I saw it there was an actual intermission! It’s so great- except Jack Lemon, who I normally love
Wow
I've seen some of it. Haven't had the chance to watch it, beginning to end. The parts I've seen are really good.
it's four hours and i've watched it all the way through 4 times
Sato has to go back to the turnstile to see it.
You can spot a British right there

I did this with Les Miserables and was wondering how 40 minutes could have gone by without any singing 😂

Sator is one of my favourite villains . Ken is awesome
I watched that hamlet about 200 times
I watched Kenneths Henry V. Emma Thomsons marriage to him. Still loves it
I have actually seen it twice!

How many times did you have to go to the restroom? 😅
@@DonOctavioSanchez Not once. The movie was too engaging for that. I was also younger back then.
It's actually my favorite Hamlet movie
It's THE best Hamlet film
RDJ rubbed off on him
I actually have seen it! In a high school English class
But seriously folks
I was forced to watch the WHOLE thing in high school on a tiny projector
KB is a good filmaker but Artimas Fowl was a stinker.
He's the most overrated actor ever. Always just himself
I love that Hamlet 🥹 it's pretty
