I wonder if any other episodes of "Seeing Sport" survive? Do you know where one would check to verify if any episodes of "Seeing Sport" survive on film? Do you have any more episodes of "Seeing Sport" yourself?
I recall having read in a few biographies of The Rolling Stones that Joe Jagger (Mick Jagger's late father), at the time a physical education teacher in Dartford-Kent, was somehow affiliated with that ATV show, which is how his eldest son, Michael, obtained his first paid performance gig.
And it was Joe Jagger's disciplining of his sons (Christopher and Michael) in calisthenics which led Mick to a lifelong physical regimen that has served hm well to this day--all those years demonstrating his incredible agility with choreography for The Rolling Stones concerts. and then, amazingly, earlier this year, only one week after undergoing a cardiac procedure, the 76 years old Mick Jagger was seen working out at the gym. moving about like a guy stil in his 20s. That was so awe-inspiring. Joe and Eva (Mick's mother) would be very proud of him.

Jeff Beck, in a hilarious interview together with JImmy Page (for Mojo, summer 2004) told the story of how he and the Tridents had done a gig at some club near London (in Twickenham?). It was a multi-band bill and the owner of the place told them: "There's no competition, you'll wipe the floor with everybody. Just a bunch of long-haired weirdos called the Rolling Stones". :D At the end of the night, Jeff and his bunch were quite satisfied: the Stones had long, "dirty hair" which had not caught on widely yet. "Well, we thought, we'll never have to worry about those guys again. How wrong can you get!" ;)
