I think Kanye might have deserved the top 5. Not only are his albums fantastic but his top hits are too, and he’s also been dominant for twenty whole years (let’s not forget Carnival went number one- even though it’s hot garbage)
I do think placing Rihanna above Drake was a misfire. She is absolutely nowhere near as relevant as Drake is who’s been the last true star of hip-hop, her records aren’t as big numbers-wise and I’d argue her best albums don’t stack up to Drake’s best (I’m not even a Drake fan but he has at the very least 3 good if not great albums)
I dunno man Rihanna is still very relevant. Consistently has higher monthly listeners which I know is only one metric but everyone knows all her hits too
Watching this reaffirms that I love way more the big 20 century pop greats - not sure what role age, location, taste and other factors play
Age most likely does. I’m not sure if they ever did a 20th century list but would be interesting to see who they picked
Billboard got the top 3 so right, and I was scared they would mess it up

Yeah tbh that’s true. Factoring his recent output you can understand 7th. He should be above Drake thougg
Beyonce! Still number 1 imo

What??? Rihanna is much bigger than Drake. And has been for longer.
