I started using VM's in the mid 80's when I bought a 3600+, and of course it had an all stainless carafe. I lived for all those years from the 90's with various plastic carafes. When I bought my stainless carafe from your company for my Pro 500 legacy body, it really transformed my blending. Other than using the dry blade container for grains and beans, and the on-the-go set, I use it constantly. I love the weight of it, and it looks just like the day I bought it from you all. I bought my A3500 through you last year, and then bought the stainless steel container. Honestly, I am glad to have both the 64 ounce low profile and the stainless steel, but the one I use the most is the stainless steel container! I love it. Large batches still go in the 64 oz, and soups, as does green juice, but the stainless steel is awesome. I also now have the food processor attachment and the Aer disc (through LifeisNoYoke) but the one I use the most is the stainless. Love your videos!

This is the one me and my dad got for the black friday sale! We used your links. Your videos helped tremendously in figuring out what vitamix would best suit our lifestyle. I'm really excited for it to arrive (even if that buyers regret is kinda nipping at my heels). I do think I'm gunna love this thing. It took us months to take the plunge, but I hope we chose right. We ended up with this one, over a reconditioned venturist, or a legacy model, for a couple of reasons. It's just the two of us. We usually make small-ish batches of stuff, single serve. We don't make a lot of things ahead of time due to.... I'm not sure what to call it. We just forget about our leftovers/prepped food and will never eat it. If we make it, and it's enough for that day, we'll eat it and its gone. Done, no food waste. So yeah we just, we wanted a smaller container. If we need a large batch, we can do a double batch if necessary. No big deal. We were also just attracted more to the "being able to make less food in general" incase we need a relatively low amount of something. Like I said, we don't food prep. Maybe having a vitamix, it'll spur us to that someday but... Ya gotta start with what's the best for you right now. You can always change your mind later. I also just like the future proofing and accessories for the ascent series over legacy.
So yeah, hope we made the right choice, but if not we can always return it and try again with a different model instead, which is great! Thanks for all your awesome videos on vitamixes. Super helpful stuff, and I look forward to trying out tons of your recipes.
They should have just made it an option- which container do you want and the price adjusts accordingly - simple. I honestly like the stainless steel but don't love it for thick items where you need to keep an eye no the consistency to know when to stop - as you can't see through it.
Hot soups with turmeric paprika garlic onion (which stain and/or leave taste behind) here I come!
After a few uses of the machine i realize you don’t need to blend it on super high because it’s too loud but also is just faster. Now I make my smoothies at 8 speed and they come super nice and it’s not as loud .
I got the cheapest series before I found your channel years back now it’s so loud but I’m gonna use it a couple years before I sell it and get a nice one

Hi I have an A3500 but was interested in the attachments. Specifically the food processor, stainless steel 48 oz, and smaller cups. I was waiting for the Mother’s Day announcements of sales hoping that these would be on sale also. But so far it doesn’t look promising… Are you aware of attachments ever going on sale? Thanks. PS I started following Life Is No Yoke after I got my A3500 and I very much like your content and recipes!
I already have a 3500i. However because I'm in Europe, you can't buy a 48 oz container that supports the ascent series here. So that will be my first wish, before investing in something else.

So have a question for you so it is the Vitamix 4 oz wet container from a Vitamix 6000 is compatible with the a2500 motor base
So I was mostly right! Will a regular 64oz container (or the blending cups with their blending base) still fit on this or is the base shaped differently? Just clarifying the part where you said this isn't super conducive to having more than one container?

What kind of food can’t u use in the vitamix ?
I saw this ok their warranty : Containers: Grinding certain herbs and spices in the container/cup will result in cosmetic marring of the container/cup and may cause the blades to wear prematurely. Traces of sand, coarse gritty and abrasive herbs will also cause the blades to wear prematurely. Herbs may contain volatile oils, cause the container/cup to retain the oils and cause permanent discoloration. Your container/cup and blades are not covered under the Vitamix warranty under these circumstances.

Just got it and it does not matter which you buy the combo is exactly the same!. First, it was 100 dollars off the machine. Then if you buy with the plastic and then the separate separate stainless steel it is exactly the same as buying the package and then the plastic container. Does not matter. I bought it at best buy with the plastic and then bought the stainless steel from Vitamix. NO difference in price. The stainless steel does not blend as well in my opinion due to its shape. I feel. its and I know the ratios and how to blend. If you ill it to the top, not good outcome! If you make one small personal smoothie then you are ok.
This doesn't seem like that good of a deal to me unless you have to have the metal container but maybe I'm missing something. So the regular A3500 is $600 right now with the low profile 64oz container. That container is $169 if purchased separately. The metal container is $199 if purchased separately...a $30 difference. The price difference between the two configs is $100 ($600 vs $700).
Does this work with alterna Mason Jar attachment ? Because I wanna do single serve smoothies
