This may be the most underrated drum channel on the platform. It’s really good advice I haven’t heard from anywhere else 👍

NHL players actively and passively stretch during warmups.

Thank you thank you thank you!!! Makes total sense, I think I may have done some damage to my left arm doing stupid stretches that I thought were helping.

Would greatly look forward to a full body warmup video for pre-show/pre-rehearsal. I find myself running into a very crunchy neck/upper back/traps after a decent amount of practice, and I feel like it's because I don't know how to properly warm up into heavy practice. Appreciate you, your scientific presentation and all you do ❤

I’ve been having really bad palm pain, mainly over the carpal tunnel. I’ve seen a couple of doctors and therapists, all of them say my forearm muscles are extremely tight and that strengthening would only make my muscles tighter. I know you aren’t a fan of passive stretching hands, but every therapist recommended stretching to try and loosen things up but I haven’t seen much improvement. I’ve tried grip strengthening exercises as well as the ones on your IG but haven’t had much success with those either. Any advice on what I should do next?
I just wanted to say, I’m a really big fan of what you’re doing for the drumming community! Keep it up! Thank you :)

Dude, you are my salvation! Thank you so much for the info. Please make a video about practicing 8 hours a day like estepario siberiano does, and also talk about you favorite drum pads whose material is the most effective for practicing

Hi, Brandon! Thanks so much for this! One question: how to do with tradicional grip?

Hey Brandon, thanks for helping out. In my case I'm practicing ashtanga yoga from last 6 months and before that i was learning hatha yoga from last 2 years. Do you think I should do weight training also to help out my drummimg? Do you also think yoga is bad for drummers? I mean what you suggest for drummers who are more inclined towards yoga?? Looking forward to hear from you. Thanks again 🙏

Are you also warning people against doing Yoga? There's a lot of pushing your joints past their range of active motion.
