I hope you enjoyed seeing my most prized possession, I truly enjoyed showing you all of my paintings that I’m very proud of 🤍 Making this video was a struggle and a half, as you might notice there are some parts where the video is a bit unfocused which I’m very sad about but after all this time I decided I’d just rather leave it like that than film this video for the fifth time 😂 I hope you enjoyed watching it anyway!! Have a great (eurovision 👀) week ✨
I've been a watercolorist for over 30 years (in art school tried acrylics and oils...watercolor was IT for me). I've never been interested in gouache...until now. I've just watched three of your videos and have loaded up my Amazon cart, lol. What a fabulous collection of your work, so beautiful.
Your paintings are gorgeous! Every one of them should be on a canvas. There is something to be said for being able to carry it in your hand and look at it whenever you want. It's wonderful. I hope you don't mind I watched this with the sound off and the speed turned up to 2. I just wanted to silently flip through it. Will go back and listen to what you said on next viewing. My favorite is the one you showed at the end of the video. The sun shining over the horizon on the wheat field and the close up white daises in the foreground.
You are so talented and you inspire me so much ❤️ It’s very hard to pick just one favorite, but I really really love the greenhouse window painting. I actually painted my first painting ever using that as a reference 😅❤️
yeeees girll, i’m finnish/estonian and I didn’t know that you are finnish, just stumbled on to your channel and i’m so happy that i did!!! Love the art and everything feels so homey and chill❣️
I have viewed MANY sketchbook tours and by far, 200x - yours has the most insane level of variety and interest. Thank you for sharing and congratulations on completing. A work of exquisite art. 🇨🇦
i am in shock how lively your painting look like. They are better then photos. I cannot belive that there are no thousands of likes! You gave me a hude portion of inspiration.
Hi Tiina! I'm a bit sad that I didn't make it to the premiere :D but I was waiting for this video! Your sketchbook is the most beautiful collection of masterpieces and I couldn't wait to see them all together in one video :) Love love love it!
Why have people made comments saying "these are not sketches" - really? Come on? Sketchbooks get used for so many different purposes... the term sketch in relation to art or drawing means that it is usually an unfinished drawing for when an artist plans out their drawings or for practicing drawings. It doesn't mean she has to use them for this purpose only...
Ooohh so this is your yt channel. I recently stumbled upon your video of your artwork on tiktok of those 3 ducks walking in a field of wildflowers and I was so mesmerized by it. Glad I discovered your channel here on yt. I instantly subcribed right away haha ❤
Waow so hard to choose just 1 favorite, it’s really impressive what you created in this Sketchbook! 😍😱 I think the one painting that really spoke to me the most would be 10:26 but there are so many wonderful ones 🤩 Thank you so much for sharing that!
These paintings are amazing!! I have only tried a few paintings so far (2 to be exact so I am a beginner) and one thing I quickly learned is I have no idea how to paint grass! But your painting of the 3 geese show how to add texture to grass. I think sometimes one needs to see an example so then you can say "oh that is how you do it!" And those paintings of the waves are amazing with the details!! For some reason I think painting a wave like that must be hard? Or maybe it only looks hard? Hmmm... Anyway I definitely am going to be experimenting! Hopefully some day I will be as good as these. And those crisp white edges look so neat! I really enjoyed seeing all of these paintings! ❤❤❤
I really enjoyed the video ❤ and i want that you draw more and more painting 🖌️ and i really love your paintings and i also draw these and i get very intresting ideas 💡 from you to draw 😊and you are amazing 🤩
I really loved your duck / goose painting! Omg 😍😍 I’m going to try to recreate it for my May theme this year (I know I’m late lol 😅 I was uninspired until I saw your painting 😍🤩)
Breathtaking work Tiina! My favourite is definitely the Bag End one (as a LOTR fan), but I also adore the garden scapes and cloudy skies a lot! I would totally buy a print if you decided to sell them!
Don't we all look at our old work and think, blimey that's bad even if it is really not. Then again sometimes the art looks better after a time. Great work, I don't really paint nature, but was till an interesting watch and you got a new sub.
It’s true! And even if we dislike it, it’s often not very deep or serious! Painting a lot has tought me that it’s inevitable to do art that you don’t like sometimes and the way you react to that dislike or slight disappointment definitely is what matters the most imo!! Thank you so so much 🫶🏼🥰
Please dont be so negative with so many of your pages…..from this side of the camera your paintings are really lovely. They definitely inspire me to do some in this style.
I talked about this in the video too but me saying I don’t like a painting isn’t me being negative or saying the paintings are bad, it’s just me noticing all of my feelings towards my work. You see just the finished piece in this video, but I’m the one who spent even 8 hours on a painting that maybe didn’t turn out exactly how I wanted, who was sometimes very uninspired and had to force themselves to paint or just didn’t absolutely love the painting subject, color scheme or didn’t put their whole heart into the painting. I appreciate you saying that they look good and they look good to me too but I also see the process and feel my thoughts I had while painting them and those feelings often come to my mind when I see the paintings again. Some paintings even remind me of a time of anxiety or sadness because to me my work is personal but for everyone else they are not and that’s why it’s easy to say I’m being too negative when you only see the finished pieces. I know I’m a good artist and all of these paintings are good and my dislike towards them is just my own opinions as the artist who made them. With being honest in these videos about how I feel towards my art I’m trying to create a more honest and more realistic look into what’s it like being an artist because it’s not realistic to like everything you make. I hope you understand! 🤍
@@Tiinasdiary then what is the point of trying to paint if we are going to spend very little time liking what we do in the end. You have done a lovely job on them, so let us see the beauty in the art ourselves. A few thoughts of correction never hurts, but…You are young and I am old and that is how I feel. The video is great with no sound.
If you like the video without sound more, please watch it without sound then. I’m creating free content for people to watch but my art couldn’t exist without me and my thought process, my sometimes negative feelings towards it and my critiques. You’re also understanding my words very wrong, what I tried to say is you only see the finished product so you can’t understand what I feel, those feelings are often much stronger and personal. I might associate very negative feelings for a painting just because my mood was bad that day but you can’t know that while looking at the finished product and you might call me unreasonable even though I was crying through most of the process, do you understand? I value myself SO MUCH as an artist, I love my work and I love my own artistic vision and brush strokes but I can still sometimes see small things I could do different and I can criticize myself. Please note that this sketchbook is years of work and over 100 pages, of course I will slightly dislike some of them, it would be unrealistic not to. And I’m trying to show everyone the realistic not-sugarcoated look into what being an artist is. Many beginners might think that all more experienced artists love all of their work and they wonder why they dislike theirs, I’m here to show it’s okay and there’s nothing shameful or bad about it and not liking all of your work doesn’t make you a bad artist. Plus if you want to get better and grow your artistic skills, it’s essential that you can see the mistakes and things you could do differently.
@@Tiinasdiary To inspire someone, you need to use positive words. Let’s leave this conversation on the table because we obviously don’t agree. Good luck to you. I wish you the best.
@@anniesmith2No you don’t 😂 Her “negativity” towards her work has absolutely nothing to do with you or anyone else. I can never fathom why people like you choose to feel personally slandered or affected by someone criticizing their own work. If you want to have a different mindset towards your own work then have a different mindset, no one is stopping you
Very beautyful!! I like all of them. I cannot see that some paintings are made without inspiration on the contrary, I really like some of those you don't. What I see though is that some of them miss the sun. Like the first daisy painting. It is daisies by grey weather. I am not sure how to do that. I think one needs more contrast on the spots where the sun shines. Thanks for sharing...
Thank you!! Why I dislike some of my pieces is because I have a very personal relationship with them and unlike all of my audience, I actually feel them more and I can see the whole process with my own mood and feelings too, whereas you only see the finished piece. It’s hard to explain but you only see the outer layer but there’s so much more that is not visible to people only seeing my finished pieces online you know? Haha like I said it’s hard to explain 😂 But yep I get what you mean and I can for sure see it too! My first paintings in this sketchbook definitely were still good paintings but often lack contrast or details or something else that makes my more recent paintings shine more ✨
@@Tiinasdiary I perfectly undelrstand! I also dislike some of my paintings, maybe because I strugfled or I know that there is a mistake somewhere 😄. But others don't know! It is really true that beauty is in the eye of the beholder 😂
Lovely work. So you glue them into the sketchbook ? You're not painting directly onto the paper, i guess because it would'nt hold the paint without warping...i like how you've left a neat white border round all of them . 🌱🌷🍃🌻🌿
I love your work! You've inspired me to get back into painting. I'm working on my timing because it become time consuming for me. How long does the average painting take you?
I don’t do anything, I just live life on the edge 😂 Honestly I’m a bit scared to use some sort of fixative with gouache, I don’t know what works for that!
This is an heirloom. Your family is going to treasure this so much. Such a strong body of work, I’m so impressed.
I never thought of that! A sketchbook truly is a connection to your loved one’s heart.
There are so many of these I would totally buy prints of. Truly stunning work
As you know I love all your paintings. Eventhough I have been drawing/painting for 47 years I have learned a lot from you. Love Alette ❤

Absolutely blown away by your artwork. Chose the sun through the trees as my favorite but there is probably a dozen (or more) that could have been.
You are so talented and you inspire me so much ❤️ It’s very hard to pick just one favorite, but I really really love the greenhouse window painting. I actually painted my first painting ever using that as a reference 😅❤️
This is the most beautiful art that I have seen. I wish I could learn and be half as good a you are.
