The overhead shot is always perfect for seeing the overall composition, but it is really good to experience he process when filmed from the side. Makes me want to paint mushrooms! 🍄
Oh my goodness, your mushroom theme really hit me in the feels, as I live in the Pacific Northwest and mushroom hunting with my family is such a wonderful autumn ritual. One of your first bujo setups I've watched--immediately a fan!
I love you're paintings. I rarely react to videos but wanted to react to the camera angle question. Although the camera angle looks nice this way, I'm a beginner in painting with gouache and need a step by step guide sometimes to learn how to paint. So when painting along with you're paintings the overhead angle makes it so much easier to see exactly wat you're doing. I think and hope that I'm not the only beginner that learns to draw and paint this way ☺️
Those mushrooms on the coverpage look so realistic! I absolutely love them. And the other pages look so great, too! I love the combination of the colours 😍🍄
All of the mushrooms look beautiful. Yellow shadows: color theory says use opposite, so purple would work. You could also use brown to mix in or layer. (Cream > yellow > orange > brown)
“…call it that here in finland” I was just watching through plenty of bujo videos for inspiration. I don’t know why but I always get positively surprised to find other Finns around social media
They all look wonderful!!! I’m not much of an artist but from what I understand using like blue/purple makes good shading for yellow/orange tones! Again I never make art myself but maybe that will help take out the neon you aren’t favoring?
You just made me paint mushrooms and I love it. I am a beginner but your videos help me so much and kind of make me more comfortable trying.. its not about being perfect! Thank you❤
this video quality is great but I think it always is (plus i enjoy this new angle), personally I can't tell the difference so I don't think the 4k is necessary:) (also, I think the yellow mushrooms look great, but I would think maybe making your shadows more brown instead of orange or black would give you more of the effect you're looking for? Maybe you've already tried that haha but that's my best guess:))
Living for the Autumn aesthetic Tiina! And I really felt the comment of you switching to the Dutch door weeklies instead of doing a full spread each week. Wow, that used to be a lot of work.. About filming in 4k: I think it does make a difference in that you can see your paintstrokes a bit better when watching the video, but if you wouldn't film in 4k I would be able to follow everything very good as well. So not a big difference, to me personally :)
I absolutely love mushrooms, so this theme makes me very happy! Thank you for taking the time to show us these amazing paintings and overall spread! I love it 🍄☺
I LOVE the mushrooms! They're all so beautiful! 🍄 Have you ever tried neutralizing your yellows with a dab of purple? I've had some luck with this in my watercolors. Of course, I've also created mud, so when I say "a dab", I really do mean a DAB. I haven't been painting watercolors for a whole year quite yet, so there's still a lot of experimenting. 🤷♀
I am a simple girl, I see mushroom, I click 🥺🍄 Absolutely loved all the spreads! You did such a beautiful job! So sorry to hear about the accidental 4k, I know the pain xD I thought the camera angles were nice and I also do love that book-page look with this theme so much! The vibes are **chef's kiss**
Just like you I love mushrooms, so to me this looks just magical. Especially the way you made the dirt on the ends of the mushrooms….just fantastic 🍄🍂🍄
Your paintings are absolutely stunning!!💕 If I may suggest mixing a Payne’s gray to the yellow for the shadowing on the yellow mushrooms, that hint of cool is a complimentary color that work’s really well!!
Absolutely love this one! And even though mushrooms seem to be the “theme” everyone is doing, yours is so unique and lovely, no one else’s compares! 🥰 ❤ 🍄
I have been missing your videos lately and was worried.... but now I know that you have to wait for the good things. YOU outdid yourself with this month's set up!!! So much so that I am finishing a project and then searching for mushroom references... my next painting!! Thank you! Love your work!!!!
I love your spreads and paintings! And I personally enjoyed the 4k filming, though it must have been a pain to do since you weren't expecting to need so much space on your computer. Whatever is best for you is fine, but I did like it. 😊
I found so many creative ideas watching you paint you mushrooms and listening to you . A tiny bit of a purple is a complementary shadow color to yellow.. more reddish or more bluish. Where did you say that your inspiration photos came from?Thank you so much for inspiring us!
This looks so good! I'm planning to start a journal type book myself maybe not a bullet journal exactly but this was so fun to watch and see the process 😊
Oh exciting!! I hope you have fun figuring out the style you like to go for! Starting a new journal is always so fun 🥰 Thank you so much, I’m happy you enjoyed the video!
Тина, спасибо большое за вдохновение! Очень красивый и интересный канал, милые рисунки! Благодаря вам и вашему каналу я научилась обращаться с гуашью и рисовать красиво.
Long time lurker, but wanted to say how much I enjoyed your painting here, these are probably some of your best ever paintings so please don't worry about the longer form video! I prefer the top down shots mostly, but I think I would like the phone shots if they were more focused in on the place you were painting. I know Jess Karp for example holds her phone in her left hand so she can almost zoom in on the action with her phone, and that works really well. At the moment we're a bit too far away and sometimes the angle/focus isn't right to see what you're doing properly with the phone shots. So either try and zoom in a bit more and keep an eye on the angle/focus, or maybe consider holding the phone directly. Also if you're worried about how long the video is, you could always do a short sped up overall video and release longer videos for each page of your spread. I know some people also put those kind of videos as an optional Patreon thing too. Thanks for the content, I really love your mushrooms and art!
Your talent is unreal!! Loved every minute of this set up tutorial!!!
The overhead shot is always perfect for seeing the overall composition, but it is really good to experience he process when filmed from the side. Makes me want to paint mushrooms! 🍄
I enjoy watching you paint. You make it look so easy. The chanterelles look great. They are bright like little 🌞🌞🌞
🍄
🍄 beautiful mushrooms I liked all of them definitely inspired 🌱
I genuinely love that September is always mushroom month in the bujo community
I loved this mushrom pages. This brown mushroom is so beautiful! 🍄
Oh my goodness, your mushroom theme really hit me in the feels, as I live in the Pacific Northwest and mushroom hunting with my family is such a wonderful autumn ritual. One of your first bujo setups I've watched--immediately a fan!
This is one of the best bujo spreads I have ever seen! And the chantarelles made me hungry. 😂
I appreciate the opportunity to watch this video in 4k on a big screen!
To make shadows for yellow, you can try adding a darker brown or purple! 😊
🍄🍄🍄 This literally makes my brain so happy to look at, I love it!!!
Please do more of acrylic/gouche tutorials , they are always so helpful for me🫶🏻🫶🏻
For yellow shadows use purple… It works really good in watercolor maybe for gouache too
🍄💛 I love the content planning and brain dump. Exemplary work. 💛🍄
🍄Yes this is by far one of my favorites~!!!🍄

This is one of the most beautiful spreads I have ever seen! Those mushrooms look pretty realistic! 😍
All of the mushrooms look beautiful.

This was a delight to watch! 🍄♥️🍄 I’ve never made mushrooms for my bullet journal, now you’ve inspired me to do them next month! 😀
