MO!! You are truly missed. Glad to hear that while we haven't seen you you are still working on your brand and still a fountain of great information and education. When is a Aveda going to make you an educator! Thanks for posting and have a wonderful Spring and Summer.
Coming back serving and still giving knowledge. I'm big chopping soon, and the pics helped out a lot! I love how each pic is your work ❤ I hope all is going well with the products.
Thanks for the upload Mo! I finally made the decision to cut my hair in a few weeks, and the pictures of the hair cut styles definitely helped! Can't wait to let go of the split ends and have healthy hair again!! Looking forward to the product relaunch as well!
Sure glad to see that notification I ran to this channel cause it's been too long but we know you have a life. But hair and products are always changing so it's always insightful to hear from you
Missed your videos. I started using Ion years ago because of you. I noticed as well that they got rid of mostly all the Red colors that the used to have. I love the way the demi color leaves my hair still soft and moisturized after. I tried Wella Color Touch line which isn’t bad either.
You were missed, Mo! I'm looking forward to more videos from you. Amazing, informative video as usual! Can we please get a video on protein and moisture balance?
So good to see you! I'm happy to hear that you’ve been working on your product line, as I'm down to my last four jars of Curl Restoring Treatment and DARE anyone to touch it!😂
I just got that Def mousse been seeing it all over social media I liked it didn't love it used it alone like it said maybe I'll try it with other products glad you're back missed the vlogs.
Definitely happy to see you post a video on you tube. I'm trying to find a curly stylist and it seems hard in my area. I'm mostly see natural styling of locs and braided styles.
Mo, thank you for presenting this combo option with the mousse. Re-applying the mousse, as in the first video, did not prove to be as user-friendly for me, as I would have liked. Great content nonetheless!!
Mo, you are so informative! I've enjoyed following your journey over the years and have learned a lot! The info you give is priceless. I also can't wait for your hair products to come back onto the market, as they worked soooo well with my hair.
Missed you and your videos Monica!! Can you do a video on products you use to keep color (shampoo, deep conditioner, etc)? I colored my hair in January for my 40th birthday and trying to find a shampoo and deep conditioner that works for colored hair.
Thank you. You are always informational. I have not found anyone who can cut curly hair. I’m in NJ and do not mind traveling up to 2 hours. Can you suggest anyone.
Wow. There was so much information and transparency in this video. I am greying quickly (genetics 😢) and have been trying to find someone to colour my hair properly but no one seems to be able to accomplish the look I want. The result is always very light roots and and shoddy overall results. Can you please do a video on coloring and maintaining grey hair please
Hey Mo, I’m contemplating the Rev air. Nervous about heat damage. Any thoughts about the Rev Air??? Would love your thoughts. My daughter has hair very very thick and verlang past her waist. Need something to cut down time due to my shoulder issues.
I swear I need you for my hair!! My hair never looks this wet with water, it just swells and look frizzy. I did start to use deep conditioners on a regular though. Because of my elasticity was almost non-existent. But I still need help.😢
It’ll take time… sounds like your absorption rate is off from not cleansing enough and or using a deep treatment with protein. Look at my pro tips playlist for more info!
Would you recommend that a natural get hair Botox? Some people say they’ve lost their curl pattern while for others they still have their curls but it’s less friz.
I haven’t done a deep dive on that… but from what I can tell, it’s akin to a keratin treatment. Even though it may be promoted as “temporary” no chemical process is. Once it’s done it’s done and curly hair is not always going to withstand. If you could have a patch test done first and see how it acts, that would be smart!
Mo, I just found you as I was pulling more broken hair from my comb researching Missouri Black healthy hair...that directed me to your site and this video and I have to say you're genuinely an answer to a prayer. I have just moved to Kansas City and am desperate for a stylist with your approach to hair care and business. I noticed on your website that you studied in Columbia, MO. Do you have contacts/recommendations for stylists in or around KC that have comparable knowledge and professionalism to yours? I am asking this presuming that you're not taking clients. I couldn't find salon info on your site...so presumed you may have transitioned away from styling to product development/launch. If you are taking clients, I would love to get on your schedule as early as practicable.
Per usual your video was very informative. I have a question I’m hoping you can answer. I’m going through menopause and I’m experiencing extremely dry hair. Your deep conditioner is a fave for me because it’s so moisturizing. However, I’ve not been able to find good results with maintaining my hair’s moisture even though I wash and deep condition once a week as well as use a leave in, cream and oil to seal in moisture. In the past this worked well but not so much now. What product or products can you recommend that might help me please? Or perhaps there’s something else I’m doing or not doing that needs to be adjusted.
If you feel like what’s always worked to your liking isn’t, it may be internal. If you haven’t lately, get a full metabolic panel done with your doctor. Iron, vitamin D, thyroid, etc…. Also acknowledge that menopause changes so much of how your body operates. Be encouraged to embrace the changes. Also take a look at my pro tips playlist and hopefully you’ll find some tips to adjust your regimen 💕🙏🏾
I missed you, lady.

Would you say using a straightener/ heat once a month is okay or should it be limited to every couple of months?
