Hey. I just wanted to thank you for this video. I have AIS and just had my cold knife cone biopsy two weeks ago. My doctor called me last week with partial results, partial because it was the week of Christmas and the pathologist who will be doing my hysterotomy was out of the office. Anyway, my doctor told me they saw some very small, very close together cells at the margin of the sample that were hard to identify and might lead to a second cone biopsy before determining the type of hysterotomy I will require. She said the pathologist labeled these cells as cancer only because he cant identify what it is exactly. I have to wait another week before knowing more. The waiting and the unknown and the recovery time for each test is probably the hardest part so far. I just want to know what is going on and finding little by little is kind of stressful in itself.
You're so right, the support and information for AIS is hard to find. We are in a strange middle ground of racking nerves and so many questions. Drawing out the procedures can really take a toll on your emotional wellbeing. It helped me to find your video. Thank you for sharing.

I was diagnosed with CIN3 intermediate with adenocarcinoma in situ after my colpscopy. How did you turn out with the hysterectomy? Any further treatment?

Thank you for this video. I had AIS in 2019, margins were clear.
Was followed by oncologist for a year.
Now I have another abnormal pap with atypical glandular cells and have been experience some of those symptoms like bleeding after sex and in between cycle. So I have another colpo scheduled for 4/18.
    I appreciate your thoughts. ❤

Thank you for this video. It’s hard to find details about this. Just had a cone biopsy and found AIS and CIN1 after 20 years of abnormal paps. Having a simple hysterectomy soon, luckily I’m not intending to have children so it makes the decision a little easier.
