The working day for a farmer is a very long one, its a job that you grow in to from a young age and when you are older and working long hours it seems normal, but its not and not many normal workers would do more than a few hours and give up, great video George as always

The young would not know what graft is if it slapped them around thier lazy arse noggins and they certainly would not want to be outside in "the cold" (shock horror) 😄😄😄
Hello George I love this time of year being able to spend more time with the cattle it is rather cold here in Northamptonshire aswell and it’s giving chance to get some muck out why the ground is frozen so it’s not marking the fields keep up the good work and I await the next video 👍👍
It's been -8°c this morning. Tried milking at 4am finally got going at 6.15 am. All the shit was frozen on the grates, the auto scraper had froze to it. 😂😂😂 Al good fun. 👍

ILL say it again , love the smell of grass nuts.we had a plow for pushing silage back against the feed race, no troughs like yours, and we had big beds as opposed to cubicles.

That was a good video...... not all about buying new tractors / machinery or new milking parlours or having new sheds put up. it was about the every day chores on a dairy / livestock farm. so is it your farm or do you farm with parents/ family. looks like it's well equiped anyway
Hallo george the work with milk cows is a full Time job with feeding milk pump up from euter and making the sleep box. When you stand the straw round bales in the cow box they play with him.snow looks good in the nature its white not graw

Great video. Just a thought, where you have the heifers and bull, could you pull the troughs off, put the yokes on an angle inside the rsj's and use the wheel to push up everyday? Rather than fork it everyday ? Keep up the grind 👍
No snow up my way yet, just hard frosts and not much above freezing. Unfortunately it looks like hardly anyone has taken notice of the weather on the roads, other than turning their fog lights on for a farty mist of of light fog.
Good timing with the tyres on the tele with the snow about. Could the heifer troughs be fitted with lift up mesh fence after you have been past with the feeder to save some of the wastage on the floor ? (and to prevent a fork tine up a nostril)
