Great stuff George , Always bring back memories seeing an old ford ploughing 👍🏻 in Ireland Kverneland would have been the plough of choice on the back of these in their day
I could feel the stress as you were joining the A1 at the end not a pleasant thing to do the way the roads are today, never get tired of listening to that old girl just lovely.
Fabo mr s , good to see that the TW is doin her thing with ease . It’s a sin all those greenhouse wasting away . Get a bid in & increase your acres ! 👍🏻🏴🚜
Ahhh a proper tractor at work! None of this touch button rubbish. Great video again George as always. Look forward to the next video. Regards to the family
TW25 & green plough...... looks like the rig I used to plough with in Cambs for several years in the 1990s. Used to move between farm along the A1 too. One of my favourite jobs, but made a career change to teaching, and have not driven a tractor since 1998!
Great seeing old classics working. I’m a bit bamboozled by the ploughing technique I would have started at the green house side and throw towards them like he did with headland then finished where he started with a headland thrown into the field takin* the last scrape away at the hedge.
Many a year since I ploughed but this sure brings back memories, especially the short pain in the backside fields we used to do! Tests your abilities far more than a 50 acre block.
Love these vids of the TW on the plough like walking back in time. I've said in earlier comments the new tackle is great but it's good to see the older stuff.. Be good to have a working day for subscribers with machines that could attend....👍
You might complain how fiddly the funny shaped fields are but at least they have character and history. Each kink in the boundary is a story about older boundaries. No one, even in the past, wanted fields with completely weird shapes. Maybe curves to follow water courses or land contours but every funny shape is because the owner didn't have the land to put in a regular shape and had to respect an existing boundary natural or otherwise.
Sorry George I hit the wrong button, what I meant to say was I never got to plough a field with a reversible plough like you have done with that particular field but still I did enjoy the ploughing all the same with a conventional plough first with the Massey Ferguson 188 and then with the Zetor Crystal 8011 and finally with Case/David Brown 1410? And they all worked well doing that job and many other jobs too.
Amazing vid. 👌🏻 As a child i remember playing with my Britain's Tw 25 and dreaming that one day i would drive one. Sadly that never happened but definitely sparked off my love of farming. Thanks for sharing your absolute legend of a tractor. 💪🏻👍🏻
What a cracking video of a fabulous bit of kit! It sure looks and sounds great George - you must of really enjoyed that. Superb filming, I assume it was Liz? Absolutely brilliant. .
I read the Notification as "My Favourite JCB Ploughing" and I can absolute convene to that George! XD Sounding so lovely, even with muffler, so I can cry of happiness!
Great video George, i love the ones with the tdub at work as it reminds me of my days working on a farm were we had 4 tdub’s, a15,20,25 and 35 love the sound of them and have many happy memories
Been waiting for you to drop this one ever since you put the plough on the old girl and I bet the smell of that turned soil was lovely. I am guessing Liz was on the camera for the outside shots, very good job done there. There is some talk by the weather forcasters of a mini spring heatwave so that will make fine weather for drilling. All good as they say.
Great video just think back in the day they used horses to plough And yeah them green houses are sad to see I watch a lot of urban exploration of abandoned places you be surprised whats left
Hello George nice to see you in the field working yes hate it when the soil's claggy stick's to the plough first time in the soil good video on the Field. Must say your lights top job I was getting me a set from tractor world but now I'm get some sorted well worth the money. On the rear of the tractor I had my cylinder leaking so I changed it to big single acting with better head seals stops the crap getting in taking out the seals no leaks now. Keep up with the great video's tractors sweet sound like the classic tractor brilliant 👍
That’s nice light soil and the tractor’s making good work of it. I wouldn’t have fancied it myself driving at your speed along the A1! Hope you get the JCB from several videos ago. Cheers.
Great Video George, I've never used a reversable plough! it takes a bit of getting used to looking back and the furrow being turned the opposite way (to normal) thanks for sharing
Great video nice seeing the old girl out earning her keep again. It's just like my 8730 out onto the road and straight away run out of gears😁 oh well sill gets there in my book but puts a smile on faces to. 😊 Well done. Stay safe 🏴
Hallo george Nice to See ploughing your fields. In Germany is directseeding the Trend ploughing is no good for the fieldground. Moin 12. The glashouses were good to make tomatoes melones carrotts now is it a sadness place .
Shame the plow is not a square design like a cultivator one with the plow blades all lined up in that shape then you could do better plowing without having trouble with the triangles of undone soil needing to waste time going along the edges to tidy up those undone edges! Seems a better idea than the normal long drawn out plow triangle frame shape, also better for transporting as it stick out less and even could fold up to make a even more compact plow! Why the makers of the plows have not changed to the compact square frame type is making me wonder why? They know Cultivators are a good shape and work well, so a set plow blades on the frame would work well too. Just because they done the plow like this since the start does not mean they can't change the design and layout of the frame to make them better to do the work and transport. Nice work George it is always great to see you doing you skilled work and letting us non farmers see the work you do! Those old disused green houses are such a waste to see there, maybe you should make the owner a offer to buy them either to rebuild them or clear the ground and use the area for crops?
Lovely piece of ploughing George but what smashing soil to work with although it will clearly push rather than roll over if the boards are not polished or too dry.
Nice job George ploughing was one of my favorite jobs. Worked on a farm that had ford 8910 beautiful tractor but we only had a 3 furrow plough which was a bit too small for the horsepower
Some grand shots there going along with you, excellent co-camera operator! Is it a trick of the camera or is it really that quiet in the cab when ploughing under load? If it is that quiet that is really impressive for a 80's tractor. Shame about the greenhouses that would be a massive undertaking to get them back into use, probably better to bulldoze and scrap then get the land used again at least.
Always seems very sad when glasshouses become derelict. All the huge effort and expense to build and then the countless hours of work preparing, sowing and harvesting of whatever was grown seemingly all for nothing.
Really enjoyed this one george. Great to see the auld tdub doing what she's built for 👌👍😃
Great 👍 video George nice 👍 to see the tw 25 in the fields working stay safe 👍👍🏴🏴🚜🚜👩🌾👩🌾🇬🇧🇬🇧😷😷
Great stuff George , Always bring back memories seeing an old ford ploughing 👍🏻 in Ireland Kverneland would have been the plough of choice on the back of these in their day
It's great to see a big legendary Ford TW working on 5 furrow reversible plough in the field.
Almost a trip down memory lane.
Despite her age, that TW-25 is still a far superior tractor over today's tractors. Awesome video, cheers :)
Morning George , good to see the old girl working !🤙🤙
Ahhh a proper tractor at work! None of this touch button rubbish. Great video again George as always. Look forward to the next video. Regards to the family
Good to see a proper tracor at work - a box of cogs and not a bix of computers. Very nostalgic. Fair tidy job.
Love watching you on the T7 but you can't beat the raw power of the old T dub , thanks George great vid 👍
I could honestly go ploughing all day
The wife just gets tired after a while

Hi George, your TW25 sure is a classic workhorse and during my time in the Agricultural Industry that is one job that I never got to do
Been waiting for you to drop this one ever since you put the plough on the old girl and I bet the smell of that turned soil was lovely. I am guessing Liz was on the camera for the outside shots, very good job done there. There is some talk by the weather forcasters of a mini spring heatwave so that will make fine weather for drilling. All good as they say.
Hi it was nice seeing the tw doing a good proper job again.
No matter how old the tw,s are they still look great working 👍 cheers George
You can't beat old school noise and power. Good vid.
Good job as usual Mr George yea the only job i like better than plowing is mowing hay

Great vid George! :D Here In Norway there is still some time before we get rid of all the snow... :)
Nice video George, hopefully you will post that follow on work after ploughing 👍
Great Video George, I've never used a reversable plough! it takes a bit of getting used to looking back and the furrow being turned the opposite way (to normal) thanks for sharing

Hallo george Nice to See ploughing your fields. In Germany is directseeding the Trend ploughing is no good for the fieldground. Moin 12. The glashouses were good to make tomatoes melones carrotts now is it a sadness place .
What a lovely couple of machinery George :)
bonjour George merci pour cette belle vidéo 😍👍👍👍
Great vid George can you do a video on how to set up a plough properly? That would be very interesting.
Hi George the cab rubbers are very expensive I have just done my 6710 🤔👍👌
Nice video George 👍🏻👍🏻
We call those kind of ploughs ''air cooled'' here in Finland, other side is cooling while other is ploughing :D
Shame the plow is not a square design like a cultivator one with the plow blades all lined up in that shape

Brilliant 👍 nice bit of ploughing love seeing the t dub working
greetings from Poland. Super movie
Brilliant video George, thank you!
See you installed air in the cab, comes in the side window, & on out the rear glass.🇬🇧.
My dream, since I was 4 (now 19), has always been to own a 135 with a 2-3 furrow plough and enter ploughing competitions. Maybe I’ll own one one day.
i remeber when the tw first came out, big in the day.i loved plowing.
You got nice looking soil. Compared to us.
I know small fiddly fields are a pain. But massive square ones are very boring.
That was a right good job. Looks real good thanks for sharing that
she sounding well seems to enjoy going out and doing abit of work.
Lovely piece of ploughing George but what smashing soil to work with although it will clearly push rather than roll over if the boards are not polished or too dry.
Saw that field and them greenhouses today on the side of the a1 what a waste good to see the tw giving some grunt 💨
Nice job George ploughing was one of my favorite jobs. Worked on a farm that had ford 8910 beautiful tractor but we only had a 3 furrow plough which was a bit too small for the horsepower
My favorite job too 💪💪👍👍😎 but in mini scale 😀😅

Another great video

It was my favourite job as well.
She looks well george hope I get to meet her in person.
Are the moving side shots liz at work or your drone cracking shots of a working classic.
Always seems very sad when glasshouses become derelict. All the huge effort and expense to build and then the countless hours of work preparing, sowing and harvesting of whatever was grown seemingly all for nothing.
i remember my dad buying bare root sprout plants from them greenhouses when bates had them
