I'm sorry, Tito? How are deciphering the final frame width? I cannot figure this out. I am speaking specifically 5760x3240, with a 1.5x desqueeze from a Red Komdo R3D Raw . Also Pro Res Raw from the Ninja V 4240x 2385 coming out of fx3. both with Nanomorph zooms. Im looking to put into a 1080 timeline and a 4k timeline as well. Thank you man

This is very interesting, maybe you could help me, i encounter a problem with the Black magic Cinema camera and some Blazar remus i just got , 1.5 aswell. I only can have a 1.6 desqueeze inside the BM but it seems to burn it like that in the footage. I'm curious to know what would you do in that case, is it a problem to squeez it a little after, what is the ratio you would use? Maybe i thought of using a perfect circle in the middle of the frame to fix the number between my X and Y ..... Sorry for my bad english hehe

In Resolve (or Premiere), just follow the steps I used here for the desqueeze. What the BMD camera is doing is just recording the desqueeze metadata, and you can override that manually, changing it from 1.6 to 1.5x. Or you can "resqueeze" all the clips by adjusting the scale of the X axis from 1 to 1.5/1.6 = 0.9325 (or 93.25%)

@@AnamorphicOnABudget Ok so there is no problem to desqueez a burned ratio in post, it doesnt change quality? Thats super helpful i was doing it by eye, and i was always ending btween 0.930 and 0.960 so im glad you give the right number; i ll try that
Keep up the good work, im following you sinds .... well i dunno when but few years and you gave me the hype man, im so in love with anamorphic lenses, i Own 2 Sirui and Now 3 blazar remus

can someone explain to me where he gets the final frame width dimensions of 5160px in order to input the info into the calculator? I've rewatched this video a number of times and either seem to miss that part. thanks

That's an arbitrary number of your choice. If you want 3840, you can put that instead. Or whatever number you want to output to.

Can someone help me please whats the best settings to use for my combo with the bmpcc4k and the sirui 35mm!!!
    Shoot in 4096x2160
Do I have to desqueeze 1.3 or 1.33 with the sirui 35mm?
Which final aspect ratio Inhave to choose 2.39:1? 2.4:1?
    Thank you!

1.33x with the Sirui! As for the final aspect ratio, it's a choice! Pick the one you like best.
