This DIY fairy wing tutorial has been requested by many of you. I hope that you enjoy learning how to make fairy wings.

Those are sweet little gossamer wings. Very delicate and I love the sprinkle of glitter. Reminds me of Tinkerbell.
I love your videos I have watched most of them. The dolls are all amazing & beautiful!! I have tried to make one. It turned out nice but I had trouble with the yarn around the hands & feet. I'll keep trying though. Thanks so much for sharing.

I love your fairies. Remembering when my mother used to make crocheted angels, she used a fabric stiffener so they'd keep their shape. Maybe you can do that for the wings, too? It works on any fabric and you can shape them the way you want. I can't remember what my mother used, but you can buy a bottle of stiffener at craft stores or make your own. I saw a woman use water and corn starch for the stiffener.

Yesterday I made a fairy doll following your tutorial and I was wondering why it didn't have wings. Then this morning I saw this! Thanks for your great tutorials! I found some lace that I plan to use for the wings. My 6 year old granddaughter has a fairy house that my son helped her make, so when I saw your tutorial, I decided to make her a couple.
