It has been reported that the Chief Technical Officer is extremely unhappy with Christian Horner, due to his recent allegations, and wants out immediately. If such a prominent and important figure is fed up and ready to leave, what does this mean for other members of the team? Could we see Max Verstappen be next to remove himself from this dysfunctional ‘family’? As for Newey himself, where will he end up? Retirement? Scuderia Ferrari? Aston Martin? Only time will tell…

It’s my understanding that not only are the PU regulations changing for 2026, but they are also working on new chassis regulations. Does that mean we’re leaving the ground effects era or will ground effects continue with some added changes. Is Newey’s expertise going to relevant? Or perhaps RB is again working with the FIA to get the changes they want for the new regulations so they can hit the ground running. I don’t have much trust in F1 and the FIA!

Red Bull seems one of the few teams that values everything (communication, strategy, pit crew, engine, aero). I think the knowledge will shrink the gap but their ball is still rolling (probably shouldn't use that term around Christian!

Hulkenberg was considered one of the hottest properties around...10 years ago. In terms of qualifying, he generally does get the best out of the equipment he's had, but points aren't given on a Saturday (normally) and I'm just not convinced he's a better bet than Valterri, we'll see. Newey is very interesting in terms of potential location, with everything he's achieved, does he need the drama of restructuring the Ferrari/Aston design structures at 65?
I just don't think dusting K-Mag is that big of an achievement, I can't lie.

Merc is reportedly offering Max 160 million dollar contract with Ambassadorship for Merc….Jos wasn’t wrong when he said that Christian’s situation will make the team fall apart. Red bull is gonna end up without Max (probably) and Newey at the end of 2025. Big loss

Actually as a Max fan I’ve always admired Lewis as an excellent driver and a role model for a lot of people/kids by achieving things that looked like not achievable…he showed (just like Obama) that it is achievable. He did good things concerning diversity in F1, besides his excellent performance. So it is a slap in the face to be called a racist. It's an absolute disgrace Mercedes offering everything to Max which they denied for Lewis. Sorry but Max cannot be a brand ambassador for anything other than a Redbull energy drink, he doesn't have that quality, status, dignity, gravitas, respect and many other things you'd want from a brand ambassador. The only people who like Max are the Dutch, racists who hate Lewis and a few F1 fans who think the car doesn't matter. Mercedes really going from a driver who used his platform to raise awareness about the struggles of black America bending the knee etc to the Dutchman with the personality of a wet cardboard box who refused to kneel as a sign of respect and understanding. What Toto is doing is the equivalent of firing Gary Linekar and hiring Tommy Robinson! Mercedes and Toto need to realise that even if they got a driver 10 times better then Senna, if the car isn't competitive it doesn't mean anything!
