Just picked up the 2000 A6 4.2 Quattro with about 87,000 miles. Excellent condition, but with some broken parts and other parts not functioning as expected. I am thoroughly enjoying your videos! THANK YOU! I have one question: the knob is somewhat stuck in that it registers as pulled out (for the fog lamps) despite not being pulled out. So everytime I turn on the headlights, the foglights come on. I think it's because of years (22+) of gunk in the knob. Any suggestions on how to remove the knob and clean it? Many thanks in advance!

From Japan My car has a right-hand drive specification. Is it possible to use the switch with the left handle upside down? The part number for right-hand drive specifications is not listed on eBay.
Greetings to our Japanese viewers!! That's something we have never tried, but my guess would be no, it would likely not lock into place as required. You should be able to find one if you search hard enough :-) --- To help support us (for both you and others reading this) there are a few things you can do: 1) Donations both needed and welcome!
