Apple really need to add some kind of cooling solution to their iPhone, in some countries the temperarture in summner are around 30-40°C iPhones heat up real quick even when sitting idle and especially while travelling outdoors.

Go for it! You'll get a brighter screen, better cameras, and 5G compatibility among other things. Apple's website will let you compare the XR to the current '15' models to get an idea on what you'd be gaining by upgrading.

If you mean you’re getting a lot of stuttering and it’s making the phone inconvenient to use then I think you should upgrade, just not to a pro unless you want the 120 refresh rate because you mean 60 isn’t feeling snappy to you anymore.

I used to always get the max but this year i wanted the pro instead because i do have small hands, cases are a little cheaper compared to the max and apparently this year's pro size for the iPhone is bigger than previous models which is nice! I was gonna upgrade to 15PM but told myself to just wait it out but now I’m still not convinced the 16PM is worth upgrading just yet. I’m just gonna replace the battery in my 13PM and install iOS 18 when it’s released publicly and there I’ll have a new phone that’s 3 years old and can still keep up with the newest top dogs of iPhones
Honestly I can only agree. I have the 13 pro Max and I been skipping upgrades since. I see no innovation at all and frankly the 16 Pro Max seems like the same phone I got with minimal to no improvements. iPhone 16 pro max will be another miss for me. I worked it out now apple has lost 7k by me not upgrading. If they keep on doing this they soon lose a ton of customers. Tim Cook seems more like dodgy door to door salesman selling you the same technology from years ago for mega prices. I for now couldn't wait I got my self the s24 ultra not interested in the current iPhones.
7:24 that's not how it works man. If they give it a 48mpx sensor, it will be even worse in low light. More pixels on the same surface means smaller photosites. Which would make it way less sensitive to light, and you'll get a grainy image.
Stainless steel housing for the battery , using Samsung batteries that are highly explosive. The 7 series Samsung was discontinued ,it had a new form of battery that absorbed more power . Apple used that in iPhone 11 models , and stoped due to many repair outlets complaining of explosive batteries.

Honestly I prefer the matte finish of the 15 pro than the gloss of my 14 pro max. Glossy looked good on product photography but terrible to use and more prone to scratches. Especially since titanium is a softer metal compared to stainless steel. I would love a space black color but if it's glossy then I guess I'll pick whatever color is closest to uncolored titanium.
In some countries temperatures are 40°C and cannot use the phone for recording video because it overheat...just fix that...and put better sensor on ultrawide camera for better video in low light...because most of us recording videos in the city at night...and also that lens flare...horror

Better battery density most likely won’t result in better battery time or it will be minor change. Apple is about saving on production cost not making things vastly better - so thinner, lighter - this is what they aim at (less material lower cost).
My prediction for the iPhone 16 Pro Max cameras. 48 megapixel ultra wide senser. 48 megapixel primary senser. A new 12/24 megapixel telephoto sensor. The telephone sensor defaults to 12 megapixels like before but could also shoot in 24 megapixels when enough light is present with up to 24X improved digital zoom. This will require a slightly improved senser for that tetra prism lens with the same optical zoom range of 5X. So let's see if i'm wrong??

Apple will literally release 3 slightly different shades of grey for the iPhone Pro models instead of just giving us the red iPhone Pro we've been asking for years.
Better battery density most likely won’t result in better battery time or it will be minor change. Apple is about saving on production cost not making things vastly better - so thinner, lighter - this is what they aim at (less material lower cost).
It will be revolutionary if the price is cut down in half.

48 megapixel ultra wide senser.
48 megapixel primary senser.
A new 12/24 megapixel telephoto sensor.
The telephone sensor defaults to 12 megapixels like before but could also shoot in 24 megapixels when enough light is present with up to 24X improved digital zoom.
This will require a slightly improved senser for that tetra prism lens with the same optical zoom range of 5X.

Digital zoom will always be abysmal, no matter how much AI you slap on it. Optical ALWAYS. So, Apple, GIMME.
I still have iphone 11 pro which has multiple lines in display, back glass shattered, main camera lens broken, battery health 72%, face id doesn’t work, nfc stopped working recently. I think its time to upgrade to 16 pro

I have an iPhone 11 pro as well and its still works perfect😂. Only thing I changed is a new battery.

I beat the crap of my 13 pro and it’s been in oceans, pools and lakes yet it’s almost mint and works perfectly. How does one trash a phone so bad? You probably don’t use a case.
