Good to see ya. Love the classic style of that pipe. I've never tried the Bothy Flake, but I just got some G&H Balkan Flake and it smells like a blacksmith's forge. Peaty and smoky and just beautiful. That stew sounds lovely. Never thought of adding Guinness to a stew, but will have to try it. I'm Irish, after all. Hope you enjoyed your bookish afternoon. I'm about to have a similar reading evening.

I've just about finished the last of my stash; some 2015 vintage Pirate Kake. I went to my corner store the other day to get something to smoke; I couldn't believe it; all they had was Borkum Riff, yuck, and get this, it was $60 for 50g......I nearly had a second heart attack. Are the prices as bad on the east coast as they are here in Quebec? Here's another lesson I learned, I am not legally allowed to buy tobacco from another province, only within Quebec. Guess I'll have to give Blatter & Blatter in Montreal a call and see if they still have their house blends. I recall they used to have a very nice mild English. Enjoy your Peterson.
