Does talking about a particular illness you were diagnosed with in your childhood and completely cured, and subsequent experiences with the neurologist who treated you as a motivation improve my chances of a neurology residency or does exposing an illness even if it is cured make it seem like a red flag and end up jeopardizing my chances instead?
Whether paid postdoc research fellowship in Radiology in a US academic institute would be considered as USCE for Radiology residency where some patient exposure also happens? Details: Non-US IMG: YOG: 2012, doing research for 8-9 years+ (last 6 years in the US).
Thank You for another informative video. USMLE sarthi delivers as always. I have a question about match process. Is applicant is done with all USMLE steps 1,2,3 within 5 years , started matching process and did not match within 7 years from first exam, can applicant continue matching process or has to start over again with exams? Thanks ahead.
I’m an old img, yog- 2017, will be applying next year. I have exactly 1 year. I love neurology. To work on my CV which of the following would you suggest. 1) study for CK as well as do a job like a medscribe at a reputed clinic in the US. Next year do observerships. 2) study for Ck as well as shadow doctors in different specialties till next year. Please suggest which is better for me. And how many research papers should I be publishing?
@@usmlesarthi2024 I got a job offer for scribe. What do you think I should do? It’s full time and I have to give CK in 6 months. Will it be good for my career?

It’s research experience. It’s not USCE. Still a great thing to have, but not the same

Best is to call ECFMG. in your case you may be able to continue without retaking the exams
