Apparently, Ren had finished busking when he walked by Sam who was also busking. Ren knew Sam had a great voice but wasn't being heard and said if you have a mic and an amp you will earn a more money. Ren told Sam he could use his mic and sing together and Sam could keep whatever money they made. That started a friendship and more busking collaborations. That's Ren, always trying to bring others up.

Sam has a great falsetto. Ren has such diversity, texture and a range that is 3 plus octaves. Totally different tone than Sam. But when Ren sings, he gets into a flow state that not many other musicians get to. You can feel it deep down. He also has an undeniable charisma that always shines through. Sam looked up to him.

This one is my favourite of all their busking videos together. Sam really shines! They are the perfect duo. Sam is out touring with Kid Laroi at the moment, too bad I couldn't go to Stockholm to see him live. :)
Ren's got an incredible voice but he does what he feels a song needs. He doesn't belt it every time, or stay in falsetto all the time, because most songs don't need it. It's a lesson that most modern singers have failed to learn. What I appreciate most about Ren's voice/s are the subtle nuances and delicate little vocal touches, that seem to go unnoticed by many but which, for me, are absolutely heavenly! He weaves in and out, from head voice to chest voice and can effortlessly combine the two. :)
Sam is ok but he doesn't understand vocal light and shade, or that less can be more. He's a bit of a one trick pony, for my tastes. He does that one trick reasonably well but that's all he does, over and over and over again... He's also frequently flat or off-key. Ren's on another level entirely, vocally. Never mind his seemingly endless collection of other stellar talents! :)
Definitely didnt want to take anything away from Ren his talent and skill. I just love to see two artists bring out the best in eachother.
Ren can always draw from the full of his countless skills, free choice, super natural 👽🥰

In my opinion certain artists tend to bring out different sides of other artists. But that is only my humble opinion.

I mean, this is like four years old also so Ren voice is actually gotten quite a bit better since year but I think that you’re correct when you said Sam’s voice is so good it brought the best out of Ren. Keep in mind though he’s been getting treatments and hasn’t been 100%. I mean when he gets to be 100% look out. He’s already setting the world on fire.. I have to say that I never thought I would see the day that someone could actually perform it better than Alicia Keys. I mean this is recorded on the street with a cell phone. Unbelievable.!! Only issue is he wearing the number 56 dolphins jersey? Is that supposed to be New York Giants Lawrence Taylor who the heck is number 56 for the Dolphins??

Yes! Flemish actually, which is Dutch with a different accent. Bit like UK/US English. Curaçao is about the only country i can visit where they also speak Dutch 😅
Yup Aruba , Curaçao, and Bon Aire. Also Curaçao hasn’t had a direct hit from a hurricane in about 150 years. Also after 7 years I get citezenship to the Netherlands 👍
