"This is some legendary shit I am witnessing." Haha. I could listen to this all day. Great reaction guys. Sam is crazy talented and I think just did some stuff with Bieber. Ren is just...hard to describe. His guitar skills, His voice, his soulful expression. He loops the guitar background, starts beatboxing, quick pause to throw some supporting backup harmonies, back into beat boxing, then shreds the guitar solo with the looping background and brings it all home. This is just 2 dudes on the street live!
I just caught that looping thing...I was like "wait, Ren is playing that last segment but his hands are off the strings." He was busy lining up the next section (while it looped) with his off the cuff licks..lol. I love it!
So glad to see you guys excited to react to Ren music. You still have to check out “What You Want”, “Life is Funny”, “Bittersweet Symphony”, “Right Here, Right Now”, “How to be Me” (Live) with Chinchilla, Sam and Ren doing “Walking on the Moon / No Diggity” and Ren’s The Big Push doing “These Boots are made for Walking / Satisfaction / Everybody”
I'd have dropped $100 on this if it was a concert ticket and not thought twice about it, and these two guys are giving it away for free on the street corner.
Another great reaction. Ren's other performances with Sam Tompkins (“Blind Eyed,” “Walking on the moon/No Diggity,” “Feeling Good/Trouble So High/Masterblaster (Jammin'),” “What Went Wrong” Part I&II) are also great. Sam Tompkins is a singer/songwriter from Brighton, UK, born in 1997. He is an incredible artist. Sam has a number of songs, "Bloodline," "Hero," "Follow Suit," “Whole,” and “Not So Grey,” that address some serious issues like family, mental health, suicide, and other struggles. "You Broke my Heart So Gently," "Critical," "You're The Love Of My Life," "Lose It All," “Google Luv,” and his cover of Tears For Fears' "Mad World" are beautiful, but his entire catalog is well-worth listening to. I usually prefer the acoustic version of his songs over the pop version, as I am generally not much into pop, hip-hop, or rap. There are very few artists in these genres I will listen to and actually enjoy. Sam’s collaborations with Ren are definitely a must. Check out (“Blind Eyed,” “Earned it /Mans World / Falling,” “Walking on the Moon/No Diggity”).
Awww! Sweet! Glad you did this one first! They have an original Blind Eyed that is fire - there are a few versions, all different and worth checking out - make sure you see live one ft. Angry Car Park Attendant - they just pull of some great stuff there and the vibe is great - those boys know how to have fun no matter what! Sam's singles are great as well - Loose it All and You Broke My Heart So Gently - are amazing songs!
So many amazing vids of there songs, Ren alone and with The big push 🔥🔥🔥 Don't forget it's Ren's birthday tomorrow and new song 🎉 can't wait!!! ❣️ Man is built different!
It's nice to finally see the guy in the hat not as high as a kite like he normal is. I really liked this one because he contributed to the video commentary.
Mans World is an African American classic, guys! Go listen to the original.... itsbeencovered by everyone but go back to the beginning - its big music history! ❤❤❤
Ren can indeed do *everything* LOL I love watching facial expressions when (after the crazy singing, rapping, guitar playing) he starts casually beatboxing here!! #AnnoyinglyTalented :D
That guitar solo at the end tells me that Ren is a fan of the late, great Eddie Hazel. Check out Eddies amazing work on Funkadelics title track from the album Maggot Brain, to see what I mean.
Funny, a lot of people think he's classically trained, but he said he learned his to play guitar by watching a UA-cam video. Really Ren... save some talent for the rest of the humans.❤❤😊😊
Not talked about but Ren discovered Sam when he was 16 and brought him out to the public. Damn Boys, you should know Man's World is by the great James Brown
Loved watching your reaction to this too! As I have explored the Ren rabbit hole: Sam Tompkins & Ren met busking. Sam was I think age 16 busking but not able to afford a microphone or speaker, couldn't play guitar. Ren was out busking that day but due to his pain decided to go back home. He passed Sam singing all alone without any electronics/micro etc.. As he passed, he heard how good Sam's voice was but also could see hardly anyone stopping to hear him. After Sam finished song, Ren went up to him & told him what a good voice he had but made suggestions to get a microphone or guitar or someone to play instrument while he sang & if so, then Sam would make more money busking on the streets. Sam said he couldn't afford micro/electronics etc.. So Ren said that he would play guitar for him, Sam could use his micro/speakers & that he'd see & that Sam could keep all the money the rest of the day. So that's what happened & I believe the money collected went from 20/40 lbs to 200lbs. (both from poor families, make money busking their music). Sam says that Ren was true to his word & Sam got all the money that day & they have been friends ever since. I dug into Sam Tompkins music & there is a video of the day he & Ren met & Ren is sitting down playing while Sam is singing. Sam says he couldn't believe how Ren was so great that he was able to just knowingly play the songs that Sam sang even though Ren didn't actually know all the songs (true musician) . Also Sam ended up doing an opening for Justin Bieber 7-8 months ago in the Netherlands I think. Tomorrow is Ren's birthday & when he is releasing his newest song as he gets treatment in Canada. Love watching your reactions! Gratitude.
I can only assume that you're American or some other nation as in England and the UK we use £'s not lbs. Ibs are weight from the British Imperial system of weights and measures. Whereas the £ or pounds sterling is the unit of currency like $ dollars in America or € Euros in the rest of Europe. £'s are sometimes shortened to Quid like dollars is to Buck in the US. So it should be £20/£40 £200
I don't know your names but I find it funny how the dude on the right is really starting to feel the music with each video. First time I saw yall he was either high af or bored and now a few months later he's the one wanting to pause/rewind and disect😂
Sam opened up for Justin Bieber not that long ago, and while Bieber was up performing he had Sam come out and sing with him. You should DEFINITELY check out Ren and Sam Tompkins. Especially their original song, "Blind Eye" BUT NOT the official music video. It's not as good as the live version that you can find on a UA-cam channel called "Music Crown" OR you can check out another live video of the same song but it's labeled, "Blind Eye Featuring the Angry Car Park Attendant lol it's funny ass hell as they keep signing while getting kicked out of the building. The story behind Ren meeting Sam is pretty awesome. Ren was out busking trying to make some money and he wasn't feeling too well cause of the Lyme disease so he packed up and when he was leaving the area he saw this 15 year old kid singing his ass off but he didn't have any equipment. No PA system to sing through, no guitar amp, nothing. So Ren offered up the his equipment and even he even played guitar for him and they both instantly hit it off and killed it. They made a decent amount of money and when Sam when he tried giving half to Ren he told him to keep it! They've been friends ever since.
4:14 The ADD DROP!!! NOOOO LOL.... Lovin the re-action so far lmao. Can see y'all respectin the talent. Comment for the algorithm. Edit: HAD TO EDIT LMFAO! Check the difference in happy face 5:06 to wtf face 5:11. LMAO Bro's... 6:02 "is it a black movie?" Lmfao comon man... I'm a white dude you guys aint know about JAMES MF'N BROWN?! THATS who sings A Man's World. He IS black so... It probably IS a "black" movie; if thats how you look at it.
love the reaction man. you guys intro is so nice. it reminds me of DJ Premier type shit. Sam Tomkins voice is crazy considering he smokes lol. have you reacted to ren the hunger and genesis. Genesis is is amazing
found your channel through Ren. really enjoy watching your reactions. For a change of pace, how about reacting to Jinger! They are a band from Ukraine. The singer is safe in the US, but 2 possibly 3 of the band members are still in Ukraine in the midst of the war. Hoping they remain safe. Start with Pisces live studio version.
I'm a few months or late lol😂 yet when the Police know They are going to do a Buskin on a certain area they Shut down the Area gor the fans. In an interview with Ren the Largest Nuskin in Brighton Brought in 3 Thousand Folks of all ages and from all around the world. Now Thats Love 💕
Please please react to Ren and his band The Big Push street preference of I shot the sheriff/road to zion/hip hop it's straight up 🔥🔥🔥 and Rens guitar skills are crazy Awesome Xx
Did you ever in your life think that your favorite R&B artist, soul artist, rap artist, rock artist, and hip-hop artist would all be one person? And a little white dude from the UK? 😂 I sure as hell didn’t. But he is. All of them right now.
Sam's great but Ren's on another level entirely and I'm talking vocally. Never mind his myriad of other exceptional talents! Ren has a much wider vocal range, much more power, more control. He has tons more character in his voice. He has more subtlety and nuance and understands vocal light and shade. He can sing in multiple styles and tones. Not to mention that he raps like a rap god, scats and beatboxes. Oh, and usually does it all while playing an instrument, brilliantly, at the same time! :) Ren easily has the better voice, by any objective criteria but I recognise that taste is largely subjective and that many will disagree with me. That's fine. C'est la vie! :) However, for me, Sam's a bit of a one trick pony. He does that trick well but that's all he does, over and over again. I know most people are easily impressed by the ability to sing in a high register, almost to the exclusion of every other vocal consideration (Sam went off-key or flat on several occasions) but you'll find a Sam or two on every tv talent show going. You won't find a Ren there! Ren's a unique talent! :)
James Brown A man’s world. Sam and Ren collab well together.
"This is some legendary shit I am witnessing." Haha. I could listen to this all day. Great reaction guys. Sam is crazy talented and I think just did some stuff with Bieber. Sam’s live songs are better than the studio performances in my opinion. They’re all fire, but the live stuff is special.
Ren is amazing.. legend in the making!! ✌❤💪
I'd have dropped $100 on this if it was a concert ticket and not thought twice about it, and these two guys are giving it away for free on the street corner.
Thanks for the reaction guys! Hope you do Ren & Sam Tomkins - Blind Eyed. ✌️

Love your reactions. You guys brought me back to experiencing this all over again for the first time. Thank-you!
Ren is so good he could play a violin with a piano (Chuck Norris style)
That guitar solo at the end tells me that Ren is a fan of the late, great Eddie Hazel. Check out Eddies amazing work on Funkadelics title track from the album Maggot Brain, to see what I mean.
Before Ren started Man's World he was adjusting the reverb.
Funny, a lot of people think he's classically trained, but he said he learned his to play guitar by watching a UA-cam video. Really Ren... save some talent for the rest of the humans.❤❤😊😊
