Bo was on another level and even this doesn't do him justice. They need a greatest athlete award and name it the Bo Jackson Award and then; give it to him.
Everything he did reminded me, when I was a kid playing wiffle ball or football against my older brother and his friends and then some Dad from the neighborhood would come down and join us. But he was so good at everything, you couldn't even look up to him, only watch in amazement.

One of the greatest Bo Jackson baseball things I have ever seen, was when he came back from the replaced hip with the White Sox (booo) and hit a homerun. It doesn't sound like much to read it, but to see it was absolutely remarkable. I don't think anybody thought Bo would play anything ever again, and then he did that.

True story: when Bo was with the Royals he came upon a serious accident on I-435. He stopped, gave emergency aid and stayed until paramedics arrived, who recognized him immediately. He asked the paramedics not to tell anyone, but of course they let it slip. That's the kind of man Bo Jackson is. I'm happy that this honor means so much to him. It's well deserved.
