do you know an additive called Hi-Gear SMT2 USA?
@@edogsx Yes I have seen Hi-Gear SMT2 before but have not heard much about it. One product that's getting big is the Motorkote brand, it's suppose to be like steel shield. You might look into doing a comparison between Motorkote and steel shield. I have not seen any direct comparison between those two.

At the moment in the Timken test the best oils are Steel Shield Technology, but Royal Purple and Bardahl have also given great results.
I don't know if these products are available in your country and at what price, look at my tests and evaluate the most convenient one for you ...

The ZX1 is also sold here in Italy but it is very expensive ...
I think it's another halogen-based additive very similar to MILITEC-1.
What is important with these additives is not only the Timken result but also their ability to inhibit the halides produced by the degradation of halogens, I'm working on an acidity test to be published in this regard.
You know, there are many products on the market and buying them all and trying them is expensive and not simple.
