@@Catherinee loool I was kinda surprised that you admitted to using a calculator, but tbh I used one to so no judgement here. I was going to take it honestly, but then realized it’s so competitive and that a bunch of other people would probably cheat on it too, so I used one lol. But the sequences were tricky regardless of the calculator, and it was the larger section, so hopefully I did well on that part

Serously, these kids apply for interviews not even knowing the company, ahahah.
Sounds odd that there are still jobs out there where you would need to be able to do math in your head quickly, given how extremly easy it is to automate away these days
yeah i guess its like they want to test cognitive ability 🙃
@@Catherinee could be, but its like most types of iq/”cognitive” tests. Its not based on science and is rather meaningless. Got the same types of test creeping into software engineering interviews these days, its super annoying
I applied for Akuna capital in Sydney in September 2021 - got to stage 4 with a 1 on 1 interview.
Got through all the aptitude tests and then in the one on one interview was asked what is the rank of an N sized matrix all filled with 1s - couldn't remember what the definition of matrix rank was and got axed immediately.
For context I have a PhD in Engineering and this was for entry level graduate role.
Quite an embarrassing experience really.

If you're interested in trading you should definitely start investing yourself and learn the basics of the markets at least understanding fundamental and technical analysis and the different asset classes

Individual not possible. To do individual you require atleast 3 to 4 million dollars in which you will buy market data & a trading license to buy/sell securities in different exchanges+ keep in mind always that when someone will invest millions he never likes to use brokerage house. He will take direct market access.
