Even though the Atreyu Crochet channel is for beginners, I think it's necessary to build upon the basics. The great thing about crocheting is that even the most complicated of patterns can still be broken down to the very basics of crocheting.
Don't ever approach a crochet pattern with doubt. Simply break down the pattern and approach it one stitch at a time. If a stitch is foreign to you, then find a UA-cam tutorial on it, learn the stitch, and resume with the pattern. Although our starting point is that of a beginner, it is also true that that is not our destination.
Happy Crocheting! :)
Another great tutorial. Thank you for giving the stitch multiple and dimensions of the finished scarf as well.
Thank you! And you’re very welcome. Thanks for watching long enough to receive the dimensions 🙏🏾🙂
I enjoy watching you, you make it look so easy and explain very good. Love your humor

I like the basket weave stitch. Thanks.
You’re welcome 🙂
I will admit I avoid stitches that aren’t basic but with you I gave this one a try. I’m slow but I finally understand how to do back and front post stitches. I’ve tried with others but you explained it so well I wasn’t frustrated or intimidated. Thank you!
That’s great news! Congratulations 🙂
Thank you for sharing
You’re welcome 🙂
Thank you for this great tutorial! Your vids give this beginner confidence!
Excellent. That’s what I want because we all start somewhere, right?! 😉🙏🏾
Thank you 🙏❣🙃
You’re most welcome 🙏🏾🙂
Excellent observation re: doing the HDC instead of the DC at the end of the post stitch rows.
ROFLOL @ “Get back/up there!” 😂😂😂

😃As a fellow male crocheter and knitter, I just adore your channel. I think yarn crafts have the stigma of being "womanly crafts." I guess that's why I get excited to see crochet and knitting channels hosted by men. Makes me feel like I'm not the only guy into crocheting...
I find myself coming back to your channel not just for this reason but also for the quality of the tutorials and unique crocheting technique. I never seen any crocheter go through both loops when crocheting into chain stitches.
I also must ask where you got that technique from? Were you taught that when learning, or what? I know its less convenient to pull off but I've started crocheting into my chains like that now too! I feel it looks more secure.
Anyway keep up the great work
Thanks so much for the kind words. I appreciate you taking the time to write me.
To answer your question, I don’t know where I learned that technique. It’s all just a blurred mixture now 😂
Beautiful pattern stitch! Can you tell me the colorway you used? Thank you for sharing have a blessed Thanksgiving.
It’s in the description. Thank you!
@@AtreyuCrochet Thank you kind Sir 💜🤗💜
You’re very welcome 🙂
So I just heard you say you are using a larger hook because you crochet tight I have always crochet and knit tight (I have tried to not for "ever") But it doesn't work So I guess would you say I should also do this? Thank you again for all you do and share with 🙂 Happy Thanksgiving to you, and stay safe
Thanks for the sentiments. I send them back to you 🙂 And it can’t hurt to try a larger hook. Of course the tightness is still relative to the hook size but it works for me.
@@AtreyuCrochet Thank you
No problem.
How many dc do you have on row 1 please ?
19 dc + ch 3 (created by working in the 4th chain from the hook) = 20 stitches.
@@AtreyuCrochet thank you I don't see so good at time :)
You’re welcome.
