- Join me as I enjoy my first meal at the Coco Beach Club. I get a lot of questions from my clients and UA-cam family asking whether I really love the food as much as I say on my videos. So instead of just explaining, I thought I would invite you to dine with me. As a kid, the first time I ever experienced the decadence of room service and all-inclusive was aboard the Empress of the Seas. It was also my first trip to CocoCay when it was brand, brand new. It certainly didn't look like this, and the level of accommodations and service were not in the same realm. I have a nostalgic connection to the old CocoCay and Barefoot Beach, but I fell in love for good with the Coco Beach Club while dining here.
This is the first in a our new dining focused series that we filmed while traveling to the Bahamas on the Anthem of the Seas. We ordered one of each for the table and I had to try every dish so I can tell you what I think. Don't worry, Taylor got to eat too! I must say, the lobster was pretty darn good and overall the meal was excellent. This is one reason I think that Coco Beach Club can be a high value experience. It was a bit of luxury that pairs very well with Royal's Suite Class. Or as an upgrade for a special occasion.

I used to think Danny has the best job in the world, but I changed my mind. The camera man has the best job in the world. Especially if Danny is only going to take one bite of each dish and he gets to finish them.

Hey Danny, if I’m not mistaken that lobster you had was a Maine lobster, they cut the claws off and baked them in the head, I made a CT style lobster roll. It was a great food experience!

Now I am super excited that we are going to the Beach Club on our next visit to Coco Cay. Just wish it was sooner than mid November! Can I get stranded there for 6 months and eat great food like that every day?

The have a lobster sandwich? And grilled lobster. And filet minon. Ugh. Between this and the cabanas I'm going to start looking for itineraries with Coco Cay. How many cruises are too many?
There is no number of cruises that are too many. 🤘🏼 Go for it!
@@HarrTravel why did I know you were going to say that? :) Our next one is scheduled for November 2020 and my husband said that was "too far away", so I might have an easy sell there.
Cruising is new to us, going on 1st cruise this sept. We can get the coco beach club for $79 per adult, my question is is how does the gratuity work in the beach club? Is the gratuities part of the prepaid ones or do you tip the wait staff at the restaurant there?
That is such a great deal! We actually don't know the answer to the gratuity question. We will be looking that up for you.

Great video Danny! We'll be at Coco Beach Club in September on Symphony. I am going to eat Surf n Turf ALL DAY LONG! (After the Thrill Water Park) Actually Danny, what are the best hours at the water park? (shortest wait time in line for slides)
Early and late in the day would be the best times to hit the waterpark. But you may just want to relax in the Beach Club.

This was the absolute worse video I've seen you do, having to sit at my computer watching you eat all of that FANTASTIC food while your palate quencher gets lower and lower. Just Terrible lol! Can't wait until my Cruise on the Oasis August 1st.

I dont want to sound like a fat ass, but can we order as many entrees as we can at the beach ckub restaurant? I know its compimentary but would it be rude to order more than 2-3 entrees?

Just rewatched this video and noticed the hoard of workers in the beginning of the video eyeing you. Then 2 officers came and spoke to them, did the officers eyed you. I’m guessing they approached you, and if so what is their policy on filling?
Royal is incredibly helpful when it comes to filming. That was actually the captain of the Anthem and one of his officers, they were just eating lunch and wanted to say hi, and were waiting for a pause in filming. As far as our filming goes, the whole stay knew we were onboard. They all went out of their way to facilitate any video we needed to do. We ❤️ Royal!

at the cbc restaurant could you order as many entrees as you want similar to the main dining room on the ship? or did they limit it to like 1 entree per person
I believe you can, but do not know 100%.
Ps the alcohol is included?
If you have the package on the ship then it is, if not then a la carte
Hopefully Tyler got to eat some that as well, right? As for me, since I'm pear shaped already, all this abundance would be so bad for my waistline. But I'm sure Danny hit the gym extra hard after all this.
No gym, just multiple ship tours. 😂 And Taylor went after the burger, chicken and filet mignon! Once Danny handed over that steak he knew it was gone.

I know it's Danny's job to promote these things for the business, but it seems like he thoroughly likes everything other then when the showers are too small. Does he ever dislike other things about the ships?
There are quite a few more pet peeves that Danny has, and as you watch more you'll notice a lot more of them. But we try to give the most balanced view so that each person can decide for themselves. He only mentions things that he really likes when they legitimately are things he really takes advantage of on the cruise.
I want to see Danny go down the gnarly waterslides at Coco Cay.
Hahahaha that might have to wait until after he heals up a bit. But that would be some good comedy.

They did, but I didn't grab a picture of that.
Is the entree unlimited?
You better believe it.
What was the cost? I heard they want $199. I guess if money is no object in your life...go for it.
They use dynamic pricing, so our sailing was just over $200. With the food inclusions, and elevated experience we believe it's well worth it. And if you can get 8 people for a Coco Beach Cabana the entry to the beach club is included. So depending on pricing that can be a great value.

You are correct, they have dynamic pricing that increases as things full up. So the best way to handle it is go at 6 months when it opens up on your cruise planner and get in early.
