The snow biomes would be ten times better if snow covered everything and didn't leave dirt, grass, and stone exposed so much. It would be also great if snow-colored leaves so they would be white.
I beg to differ with mushroom fields It's really a good biome to live in if you're in hardcore. If you want to make a mob farm, do so outside of the mushroom fields (like in the ocean biome, but make sure to build a platform)
My buddy and I made our home on a tiny mushroom island and loved it! We would travel out to other biomes and bring it back so I can see how an entire mushroom biome might suck in some people's eyes.
I'm *very* late to Minecraft *(Just* about to download it), and was looking through the biomes to see what I like... I got scared with the initial low rankings you had, but was pleasantly surprised to find out that the one that appealed to me the most (Old Growth Pine Taiga) was also your favorite XD My second and third favorites would probably be Dark Forests and Jungles, *purely* based on aesthetic though, as I am still *very* new to Minecraft and have no idea about the mobs that spawn in each 😅

the deep dark ancient cities are my favorite even though it takes time to carefully destroy all the screechers, once it's safe you have access to tons of xp to enchant things , resources under the skulk and usually no mobs spawn , but depending on the cave sometimes its open to a cave above where mobs can drop in. would be a great underground base, since screechers placed by players does not spawn the warden you can scare off other players who might stumble on your base
Snowy taigas are easy 5 stars what the hell 😂. (Oh i play bedrock). In bedrock the spruce tree leaves turn white when it is snowing. There are whute foxes for good ambience, wolves and the snow covered leaves are beautiful. There villages there in bedrock. Easily the best biome in the game stop smoking 😂
Mangroves are underrated its an interesting unique biome i love the atmosphere it feels safe and full of life cuz of the dense vegetation for me 4.5 stars. although Downside why i dont give it 5 stare Is that building above ground buildings Is a pain because it takes a Verry long time to cut Down the dense trees. I made my base in a mangrove swamp i loved that biome but it Took me like 4 Hours to cut out all the trees in the Area i wanted to build my base in. When building a larger base or something in a mangrove i reccomend building underground xd And because of the dense trees in the biome your base Will be quite hidden. My 1.20 survival world i built an above ground base in a old growth spruce taiga Its nice to And it was quite easy And straight forward to cut Down the trees And it gave me enough Wood to build the base with. In my next 1.21 survival world in going to build an underground base in a mangrove swamp.
I think flower forests is one of the best biomes, a way better oak forest, not that oak forest is bad, but its not good, its very outdated and extremely annoying to travel through, flower forest have fewer trees, usually more rocky and old minecraft like terrain and of course all the flowers for dye farms, its just a very beautiful and useful biome
For me, the best biome is probarly the small end islands, these not only have no end cities, these don't even grow chorus fruits! My i do love some small end islands when i see one, my dingaling goes really hard!
You forgot nether and end biomes😭 alr imma do their ranking Nether wastes: good ol nether, very boring, but at least isn't pain to traverse. Ores are exposed which is good. 3 star Warped forest: aesthetics are cool, this is the most peaceful biome in nether, endermen can give a bunch of endepearls 4 star Crimson forest: lots of piglins, they are annoying. Hoglins are too, but at least they give you quite some food. Aestetics alr ig. 3.5 star Basalt deltas: very cool looking biome, but pain to traverse. Slimes are very annoying. 3 star Main end island: boring. Only redeeming quality are obsidian pillars to mine for quess what, obsidian. Ender dragon is kinda overrated. 1.5 star End Small end islands: boring 1 star end midlands: just empty area with occasional end cities 1.5 star end highlands: same as previous biome, but has chorus trees and has heels ig. 2 star end barrens: edge of an island, literally transition to small end islands biome, nothing interesting going on. 1 star yeah end is boring as hell and only good for building farms. ranking done I'll get a sticker for doing it
i made it myself! its just a matter of changing the hue and saturation of the leaf block in the pack folder. you can probably find one like it online or make it yourself!
I really like the editing though i dont neccisarily agree with all the rankings. I may just be nostalgic but the extreme hills imo are pretty cool if you find a large on to explore. Unlike mountains they are more of a highland area rather than 1 peak. Also shallow oceans can be used to get clay, so that could even it out between deep ocean
the undertale type game im still working on but might delete soon, and the bathhouse is already gone because i lost all motivation to finish it :( i wish i had more plots though kinda sad

i think minecraft really needs to update the snow in the game tbh this might sound crazy but the biomes are hella ugly and more varied snow and trees would be nice esp in snowy tiagas and snowy plains also they need to remove the snowy beach hella ugly

Kinda agree, I love them in theory, but in practise they look a bit forced, we need white leaves, also the snow melts with light, you cant have floating water without lights, however the ice spikes biome is great and looks unique, its very useful for packed and blue ice, but its to empty of features and mobs still
Cheery groves are not that rare. There seems to be one like every other kilometer within every plains biome I find now. I can’t fill a level 4 map anymore without running into 2 or 3.
