Bruh KEEP puttimg out these videos you have no idea how informative they are for us DIYer's! I absolutely love your channel thank you for sharing your craft with us and explaining it in a simple yet understandable process!!!!
Thank you 😊 comments like this just keeps me going
i second what he's saying bruh, keep them coming, I'm watching from all the way down under in new zealand. u are the man@@SprayWayCustoms
SprayWayCustoms another great job, you make it look way to easy, especially the sanding!!! I love to watch those shapes come together! I have done this on a few custom jobs and yours are way better then most I have seen!!!!!!!!!
What kind of fleece is best to use
Thanks Fred Rodriguez
This videos are literally gold for the diy audio community
Glad you enjoy them HO11IKID72 ,
Bro I love how you get straight to the point. No excessive cursing ,
And no loud background music .A lot of these UA-camrs should pay attention to your video so they can see how it's supposed to be done.Keep up the good work and I wish you all the success in the world.
Thanks for the encouraging words. I really appreciate that Bigg Slimm
Man you can't watch your videos without saying something about it they keep getting better every time I'm popular in my hometown because of you thanks again
That's what's up...Thanks SSC
I been watching your videos for a while and man the work keeps getting better, the walk through is consistently clear the background music is just right to fill the spaces where your not talking and the work is A1, keep doing your thing.
Thanks Darrius. It took me awhile to get the music volume and everything right but I still screw up sometimes.
Best teacher there is. I’ve been repaired my fiberglass bumper. Customized it. Customized my sideskirts. And now im thinking about making a center console, rear speaker foldable deck, and front head unit/nav screen display. And its allllll thanks to you @Spraywaycustoms. I even send people to tour channel and tell them they can pick it up from you. Just 2 videos made me buy a gun and tools needed. You make it look soooooo easy even tho its alot of work. Right now i gotta go finish wire up my underglow lights then imma “cut right back” to you.
That's very inspiring Kaeos Factory 'Kae Artz'. You have a lot going on...keep doing it 👍🏾
SprayWayCustoms you know it. Mod men have to keep modding or fabricating. Else we dont live. 🙏🏽
Every time you do it gets better and better.
Thanks Tandy Smith. Much respect
I also like the fact that even though the wrinkle was on the bottom of the door and no one would ever see it, you fixed it.
Thanks for the support Bill Kim
Bro honestly I didn't know what to expect when I first opened your video but I appreciate how you explained everything step by step and what tools you used. Alot of times people don't want to let you know how they do things but you were very informative for someone who likes to DIY. And you can tell you take alot of pride in your work. Keep up the good work I subscribed to your channel and would like to see more work. 💯
Thanks Roy. I don't mind helping others
my brother here it's like someone else Express in their comment that you don't know how appreciative these videos are people do videos but they skip a lot of steps to keep people from knowing exactly how to do stuff but he invest his time in hard effort and sold into sharing his knowledge and that is a blessing from God keep doing what you doing I will subscribe and I will always be watching thank you
Thanks for the inspiring comment Tyrone. Comments like this keeps me posting....more vids on the way
You inspired me to do some work on my own car instead of having someone else do it. Turns out I might have a knack for body work and painting. Came out pretty damn good. Thanks for the inspiration and instruction.
Sounds good Dirty Bay Adventures. Thanks man
Thank you for not wasting our time by showing us you cutting all those rings out. Too many times dudes do that shit. I love your channel!
I'm glad you enjoy my channel Bill Kim. I have plenty more fiberglass vids coming up. I have another one this week
much thanks big homie🙏, this video is so needed because anybody who has owned r used any 94-96 b body knows that this is a very common issue, once u get a crack in one it just continues to crack. keep up the awesome work👍
Thanks Joseph Jimenez
@SprayWayCustoms... YOU ARE GOOD at what you do. I have watched more than a couple of your vids. One vid I followed you at the parts yard stripping parts for electric seats. I am a woman 70yrs of age. In my youth I repaired my own vehicles. Later, got lazy allowed my companion to make repairs or pay others to do them for us. Now he's deceased. I can't afford new,
computerized, car prices for a '92 Nissan. I've had my truck 14yr, paid $200 for it. Has an "excellent" motor, ran good until gas line leaked (rust). The driverside body had/has some "major" damage and for a window I took measurements to a glass making company and the cut out "hard, clear plastic that sufficed having held up all these year. Now, "this year" I'm going to repair my truck, outside and inside. However, there is no panel to the door. After watching you, I decided to improvise. I have purchased near "everything" necessary to do the work. I will enjoy doing this as a hobby because since my companion passed 7yrs ago, I shut down and did near nothing since. Watching you guys vids have been inspiring and uplifting for me. I am so grateful for all the vids I've watched, being "hundreds." You and two others were very detailed and explicit in "how to, step by step." I saved those vids. But to be "fair" your's are the most promising for me because you used and stated what "tools" I have purchased since watching these vids three months ago. Again, I am grateful. Thank you. Oh yes, by the way, in this vid when evening out the resin using the angle grinder, I think (this time I don't if you said, but it definitly look to be) you did not say if you were sanding or what, only that you were smoothing to prepare for the gray coating (much said, memory short, so forgot name of substance. I will rewatch and write every item you used. This occurred two steps before Bondo filler. Will you tell me what tool you used in the angle grinder? Thank you. Forgot to include I SUBSCRIBED! My first of these particular vid.
First off I'm sorry to hear about the passing of your companion...second thanks for the great comment Estell. The tool I used is actually a Dual Action Sander / Polisher. It looks like a grinder but it's not. It's made by Porter Cable
Thank you for showing us how to do this kind of custom work..I never really knew how to go about doing something like this..KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK and GREAT VIDEOS✌🏼
Thanks Eric. I was pretty much the same way until I started researching.
I completed my first fiberglass speaker box. Thanks to you.
That's great Kenith 🤝
Really looks nice. Occurred to me watching you cut out the rings that you could have just cut the inner circle, then dropped the speaker down in and marked around.
True, you're right WaybackTECH. Thanks for watching
Your Rondo you created is a masterpiece in fiberglassing! Thank you a whole lot KING for sharing your creations and techniques with us.
This becoming my favorite channel bro real shit
You ant lying, l am at work watching his videos.
Thanks Reil..you know we support one another. If you dropping all the great content every day. I know I can at least drop a vid a week👍🏾
Spray Way dnt play!!
What's up Reil 👍🏾
I learned how to do some quick fiberglass work. I watched this video twice due to how informative it is! Nice work!
Thanks for the compliment
Very professional. Makes me want to tackle a project like this. but I know I'd end up screwing something up lol you make it look easy.
Thanks for the compliment Mike C
I had the same thought. Not sure what kinda car you have, but just a friendly suggestion. You could goto a yard and get a used door panel to practice on pretty cheap. Depending on what your make and model is.
You never know if you don't try. Spare panels are cheap at a junkyard.
One of the best step-by-step door panel vid's available!
Thank You Quadfather ...more vids on the way 👍🏾
Props on the one handed ghost filmier, hard to do work and record by yourself. Great job Bro! on the fiberglass, shout out from Canada
Appreciate the support from Canada 🇨🇦 Rave Vanz
Thank you for posting this... I just bought a 87 Fleetwood for my beginner lowrider.... (my dream is 61 ace impala) and we are putting a 8 grand soundsystem in it... it's going to sound epic. I have my pop a orginal lowrider for 70s 80s era and he knows how to do pretty much everything when it comes to lowrider but I'm new. We are going to fiberglass our doors with a custom build and videos like this make it less stressful for me moving forward. You are appreciated and I subscribed.
Thanks for subscribing and your support Henry
I all ways wanted to know how they did this you just earned a new subscriber
Thanks Gavin, you just don't know how much I appreciate the support 👍
These are the type of videos I like the ones that shows u step by step how to do something .great job bro keep up the great work 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
johnsonroddy77 thanks 🙏🏾
This honestly makes me want to go out to my garage and do it but i'm only 15 so I'm missing the car, Door panels, Spray gun, paint, And pretty much everything else he uses in this video all I do have is 2 subs, amplifier, wires and radio all I'm missing is a fuse
Sorry 😐 THE JA ARMY. Keep striving for it and you'll have it before you know it. Thanks for watching
Hands down the best custom door panel video on UA-cam and I spent the last 2hrs looking. A lot of people focus on production value. But forget the most important steps us DIYer's like me need to see. Your attention to detail I know sets you apart from other shops. Thank you for helping me make. A factory clean look on the adds to my car.👍 Liked and shared.
Very much appreciated 🤝
You knocked it out the park with this one👍🏾
Thanks Tellitlikeitis 💪
Man I know we don't know each other but I missed your videos. Good to see you back in action keep them coming
Thanks William. I plan to at least drop a vid a week. I should be able to keep up with that schedule
@@SprayWayCustoms that would be cool. I tried starting to do a UA-cam channel with my son on working on a 99 Integra for his senior year of home schooling. But with no money to get parts that means no content. Oh well. Keep it up.
I want to make my 2004 Bonniville panels now Spray ,your work is a art brother👍👍 ,keep up the good work and great useful content .....
Thanks BoriTaino. I'm working on some more panels right now
Aint nobody better as a teacher bro love all your content
Much appreciated
Looks awesome brother love your work keep it up
Thanks PHARRAWAY...Same to you
The only youtuber i watch n dont have to fast forward cuz the teachin is dry. Love ur channel man...real n unbias. Keep it up Sprayway
Nice to hear you enjoying the content. Thanks Ronte Foster
Excellent video bruh! Like everybody said, u make it look so easy. It's been awhile since I've done any fiberglassing. You are so right about cutting the holes out before the 2nd coat of resin...I learned that the hard way 😂😂! I'mma have to check out your other video about the Rondo. Great work and skills 👍!
Thanks James. I appreciate the comment and view
@@SprayWayCustoms
You're welcome! I subbed to your channel too. 👍
The pride you take in your craft gives us all motivation to go that extra mile on our projects. Great work brother!
Thanks Aris
Damn , dropping them back to back. Sweet job bro.
I'm trying to stay consistent with the vids. Thanks Random Audio Guy
Random Audio Guy,where u been fella? Haven't seen anything from you in a while. Or did I miss it?
Your is better then those who have high price machines and the way u explain the process teaches at the same time , I like seeing ur videos, u are GOD gift to vehicles, man keep up the master pieces
I appreciate that!
The only suggestion I would make... if I may? Lol for all the DIYers out there is to use a little thicker wood for the legs like 1/2 inch or so it’ll give a more stable base for your speaker rings but other than that great work bro!
Yes, you're correct. I just show different ways of doing it on all my vids. Thanks sancho lopez
SprayWayCustoms absolutely nothing wrong with working with what you got and being creative! That’s the stuff that brings me and I’m sure many other’s to your awesome channel brother 👍
Very much appreciated sancho lopez
Glad to see people still doin it up like we did in the late 80's! nice and clean work ^^
Thank you
Great video I've watched alot of your videos and you've taught me alot. I'm currently implementing them on my '96 chevy or at least trying too. I just keep changing my mind on what I want to do. Keep up the great work.
That's what you have to do sometimes, think it over because I've changed plans so many times Garrett. Thank you
I've built my own boxes, dynamite whole car, installed amps, wiring this give me confidence to try make custom door pods! Great step by step!!
I'm glad I could inspire you. Thanks adaboy4z
Excellent!! This video is perfect for us diy folks....detailed....simple and thorough. Results look great too! Thank you so much for this. Definitely subscribing and gonna check out your other videos. Keep up the good work bro! 👍
Thank you so much 😊 Joseph
You are my favorite channel to watch when it comes to any kind of fiberglass work or body panels of whatever type.
Thanks for the big support Eric
Brotha i always enjoy watching all of your UA-cam videos I'm a big fan of yours i love the car painting thang you killed it on them door panels
Thanks PSE. I vacant wait to see yours
@@SprayWayCustoms Thanks I've watched every single UA-cam video on camelion blue paint jobs. I am so excited i can't wait to show it to you and everyone else
And he doesn’t even need a fab kitchen, a goofy “twin brother” or MDF dildos to boost his views!🤣
Kidding of course. I love all these dudes.
It would be funny to see each car audio channel do impressions of each other. I think it would be beneficial for all of their channels as well. Except for Soundman. Nothing can help him at this point. 🔥🔥🔥😎
@@poopandfartjokes Just the facts of the truth bwahaha...lol i totally agree with you brother nothing can help him he's to far gone beyond help 😜🤣
PSE, I'm about to paint some fiberglass parts a blue to green chameleon
I did my best to follow your lead on this one I got a 94 Caprice building it from the bottom up learned a lot from this brother Sprayway
Great 👍🏾
@@SprayWayCustoms photo of my work coming
This may be a stupid question but how do you stop the fibreglass panel from separating from the original door panel?
I like your work, it's given me some ideas but I've never fibreglassed anything before so I need some more information and learn a bit more first before I go cutting my door cards to pieces.
That's not a stupid question...Great Question 😁. The staples hold it to the door panel secure. After you put resin, fiberglass and filler over them there's no way they're coming out. Thanks for the question
SprayWayCustoms what do you think about drilling holes instead of putting staples? Ive seen that's another method...
SprayWayCustoms thanks!
I came across your page by accident. I’m glad I did. Putting quality content out is hard enough as it is but you are putting out quality content and quality craftsmanship plus filming by yourself- I’m a subscriber now. Your videos are informative and you don’t skip steps and that is what makes your “how-to” videos easy to follow. You earn your subscribers by putting in work and that’s what it’s all about. Thank you for the great information!
Thanks for subscribing Anthony. I try to do my best. You're very much appreciated
Great work and once again all one handed!!!
😂I'm the one handed bandit. Thank you mjbqalaska
You really are a master at your craft! I used your videos to help make my own duck bill spoiler for my car
Thanks 🙏
This video was just in time as I'm about to do my c-10 doors!!!
Great...glad I delivered on time Str8kustomz
I got a 85 short bed Im doing the doors on now myself
You make a video of it? 👍
only problem is that your work looks so much better than the rest of the stock door. much respect
Appreciate that Ezekiel Burkley
Amazing work man. Your vids help soooo many of us. I think you mentioned it in older videos. What grit are you knocking down the first coat of fiberglass with the DA? You said 180 grit after the rondo.
Thanks Catloco. I use 80 grit
@@SprayWayCustoms Thx
I think some people might make fun of your voice or accent. I watched your " how to repair rust on a car without welding. " It was really good. You did everything correctly, you had good explanations, you were very detailed in your work and your explanation. I was very impressed. Most of these types of videos are no good unless they're funded by the company that manufacturers it. I was impressed with your knowledge and quality of work. So I liked the video and subscribed to your channel. Keep up the good work and have a good day sir.
Thanks for the support Albert. I really appreciate your comment and you subscribing. It just motivate me to do more
As a European the accent takes Some getting used to but once my ears got used to it I was hooked. This channel is amazing. I think the set up with individual rings also gives a nice ondulation in the fibreglass coat. A full panel with 4 cut-outs for the speakers, while probably easier to work with, might have looked a little less sophisticated. Great stuff !
Thanks so much Acurafill Filip
Chef spray way with the pot😂😂 great work big dog thanx for the knowledge
Much appreciated chevy caprice
Thanks for showing us this and impressive you did most of this stuff with just one hand while holding the camera. You can just tell you’ve done this many times
Thanks. I have over the years
I subscribed for "Imma cut'ya back on" . For real tho, I love the videos. DIY video that I can follow. Now I can do my door panels the right way. Thanks!
Very much appreciated craftchest
Bruh, I been looking for a channel that broke this process down for a while now. I had to Subscribe!
Glad to hear you found me. Thanks Shaun Jay
Hey sprayway love those vids .I'm starting on a project with my 10yr old son and your vids help out tremendously..but quick? Do you have p.o box I like too send you something. alrite keep up the awsome work.
I don't at the moment but if you email me at spraytime123@gmail.com I'll give you an address. Glad to hear about the father and son project👍🏾
WOW! What a masterful job! You are an artist in every way. I dont know anything about fiberglass work but sure learned something today. Thanks for sharing your talents and knowledge!
Thanks, I'm glad you learned something. I'm working on another vid right now on fiberglassing nitestrike1000
Cool! I subbed so I dont miss anything. I so wish you could come to my island of Antigua and do a workshop
Thank you so much
@@SprayWayCustoms You're welcome sir. Nuff respect to you
Nice job, sir! I tried building some pods for the back of my forester but they didn't turn out as nice as I wanted them. Your channel inspired me but I need to take my time a lot more to do a better job.
I'm also thinking that I would like to turn the speakers inward and pointing down so that they aren't visible to people as they walk by. do you have any ideas on how to do that?
Doing fiberglass is time consuming and it takes a lot of sanding. When ever you think you're done hit it again with the sanding block. I'll have to see your set up to kind of get an idea what you trying to go with. Thanks
I started doing car audio about 15 -20 years ago. I had to learn most of my skills the hard way. With that being said, I wish you or some else had been around to instruct me. I think that this is a great opportunity for both the new and seasoned audio designer. I do however have a suggestion that I learned the hard way, about making the rings without a template. What I do is take the cardboard ring that held the sub and make the first hole. I set the sub into that hole, then I use the outline of the sub for the outer ring. Keep up whatcha' do brotha!
Thanks for the tip and the encouraging words. I was big into car audio back around 92' but I'm not into it like I use to be but I still love a great sounding system
If only you were located in San Antonio Texas.. badass work Brother..
Thanks for the Texas Love TexasBass210
Love your work before I started watching your videos I didnt have the courage to try it myself I appreciate that you always explain what tool your using and your techniques and willingness to share your skill with the DIY community

So glad to see you posting again. Can watch your videos all day . Thanx!!!
I'm glad to be back doing it. I don't see why I stopped in the first place ✊️mase720
Awesome work n craftsmanship! 👍👍
Quick question. Did you remove the staples from around the speaker holes before completing the fiberglass. Will the staples get in the way when trying to secure the prvs to the door?
No I didn't remove them. After the first coat of resin they were basically covered up. I shoot them countersunk into the piece. Thanks for the question R Hunter
The novice and the pro both watching and learning. Good stuff bro!
Thanks ToJuanJ
Excellent job! Btw, I found a Cadillac 500 engine and trans for the Burb! Now I'm searching for that ole school Lac interior. What about using the resin with multiple layers of just fleece? Would that work instead of using the FG sheet?
You could use resin and fleece but if it's something that needs to have a pretty sturdy foundation. You would want to use fiberglass. Thanks Jeremy Medlock
I noticed a boat fiberglass guy uses a roller to smooth out the wet fiberglass. He dabbed in his epoxy with a chip brush and laid the glass in and dabbed more epoxy over it and then he had a 4" paint roller frame with a thin piece of stainless pipe as the roller maybe 3/8" diameter. And he rolled that over his wet fiberglass to push the glass in and work out the air bubbles. And it works good to contour the corners too. Looked like less sanding after also
Yes..thanks for the info
Happy Easter mate 🐰
Great work as usual 👍
Thanks Big Keg...Same to you
Man let me tell you.....YOU ARE THE MAN FOR THIS ONE ☝🏽 I OWN A BUBBLE AND WAS LIKE HOW AND WHO ????HELL ME NOW 😂 DIY GANG ...never knew how fiberglass work 🤦🏾♂️ I’m about to fiberglass every dam thing in the Chevy including my headliner 😂

Yeah I learned alot from your other videos of doing door panels and what not good brotha and that Rondo is the shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes it is Niko G. I appreciate the support
@@SprayWayCustoms just wondering by any chance can you do a video on how to spray with a spray gun for primer clear coat and painting that's something I want to get into really good and bodywork I know a little bit about Bob work but not much just throwing this out there for you cuz then you do a damn good job and all your editorials and videos that you write everything that you showed on here on the UA-cam channel I did it myself and came out like you said it would
Hey mate, I have been watching your vids for a while and got to tell you, you do great work. On cutting the speaker holes, just use the the speaker holder that comes in the box leaving some outside edge for the speaker to sit, then cut the first circle. After it is cut out, drop the speaker in and trace the outside then cut it. It is what I do for my boxes. Wish I would of thought of making a channel when UA-cam first came out. Had a lot of good times I could of shared. Keep up the great work mate.
Thanks James
Dude, your tutorials are so good. Keep the vids coming, you need way more subs for this quality work!
Thanks Peter A. I just gotta keep the vids consistent
Well im a new sub this was something suggested to me from UA-cam but he's right looked amazing
Thanks for that toxic top hat
When the world is going crazy just kick back and watch some door panels be made. Love the vids man. I think these door panels are my favorite so far. Nice and clean and simple. You make look easy too.
Thanks Steve
I lay my pieces in a pan soak em and use tongs to lay them down and then a quick brushing. Try it.
That's a great idea to use the tongs
Dude you are literally THE BEST I have ever seen...... Keep posting videos!! Great work!
Appreciate that John Wade
Bruh your a blessing homie 💪 I congratulate you on this
Thanks Luis Garcia
Been watching you for a minute I do bodywork but you on that custom level. I admire your work for you being someone to show your work 👍
It's not a problem Rafael. Thank you
Do you think you can show how you wire and fasten the panels back on the door? Do you have to account for the seats when you close the door
mjbqalaska by him not cutting the panel off in the back... It fastens back on the same way
mjbqalaska thespeakers are setting flush with the panel itself no it doesn't interfere with the
Door shutting
Thanks for answering the question Terry. That's a good question though mjbqalaska. Thank you both😊
How does it stay on the door panel ?
I love how you leave bad spots and fix them after to show us how to fix them if or when we get them on our own projects
Thanks peck666dragon... I try to get all the important steps in the video
SprayWay Does it again!!! Great video bro!!! 😎✊🏾
Much respect Tony B.
its absolutely possible to do the whole thing with one piece of glass just make some relief rips ware the glass tries to bunch up around the bends.. if you dont want to do it that way rip the glass in circles dont cut it, the glass will lay out way better and take less grinding. also use a small paint roller with a tray its easier than a brush. the rollers we use at work are like 4" long and 1" around (not foam, foam will melt). not even sure how i stumbled on this video lol but i thought i would try and help out a little.. my family owns a fiberglass boat and rv repair shop. i have been doing fiberglass repair for a living for over 15 years.
Thanks Chad. Great comment 👍🏾
Came out nice af
Thanks Steve. I appreciate the motivation
SprayWayCustoms Yessir 💯
Great info, man! To help reduce your air bubbles and lay times when you are dropping the mat on the piece:
Pre-cut one large piece, resin up the piece with a medium time mix (15-20min pop time), snip the mat halfway up the curves, use a mat roller to lay it down, then dab the mat down with the rest of the resin. It will stop you from getting 98% of your air bubbles. Looks like a mini paint roller, saved me a ton of time on rework!
Appreciate the comment. I just show those steps for the DIYer who just starting out who'll run into those problems.Very much appreciated though ShadeThief22

You still the man. Have you done any consoles? I think that's where I wanna start trying to fiberglass but I gotta see big homie sprayway first
Yes but I doesn't have a video yet Marcus. Thanks
You do nice work! One thing that could help you make a perfect circle is draw the small circle first, cut, put speaker in, then draw outer circle while sitting flush. That way you don't have to eyeball it!
Yes, that'll be the best way. Thanks Darrell Roireau
@@SprayWayCustoms you obviously get the job done no matter how you choose to do it! Keep up the good work!
