The thing no one mentions on Antonia Singla's videos is the fact that she went deaf in infancy and remained this way throughout most of her childhood. She had begun recovering some of her hearing beginning in her teens and more of it by the late 1960s, but she had remained hard of hearing nonetheless. Oh my God - I saw her in the 1960s in Vienna in a big Concert Hall and she drove the crowd crazy! She did perform the most difficult dances,wich where usually typical for man. I LIVE LONG MEMORY!!! Wich brings tears in my eyes, because my late husband- still a student- was there with me. Thank you from all my heart for this beautiful recall.

You did get to see one of the world's best flamenco dancers; La Singla; and at her best; in her prime days, she was absolutely "Smoking HoT" especially more so because she has worked and trained with the legendary Carmen Amaya; hence why she too demonstrated that gorgeous Hot gypsy girl dancing dynamic; just like Amaya in her youth, doing flamenco dances that only men would previously do, because of the powerful footwork involved, in conjunction with that distinctive "whole body flip" with the hair whipping around like that; that is the trade mark of Carmen Amaya's most famous dance routines. The only other flamenco dancer I've seen and really like that had that is Fernanda Romero, with the long black hair whipping around with the wild & hot & distinctive gypsy dancing style; she too was absolutely smokin in her prime too. Прочитал что у Ла Сингла нет повязки на голове для волос поэтому у неё волосы спадает закрывается лицо. Моё предположение что она танцует без повязки чего опускает волосы и закрывается лицо это так задумано заранее для эффективности одним словом для красоты притом делает это в тот момент чтобы сочетание было с ритмом музыкой. Los pelos de punta. Que maravilla. Bellísima además. Que pena que cayera en una fuerte depresión durante 7 años, lo que la alejó del estrellato…. Nunca sabremos a dónde hubiera llegado… que pena. Sin embargo, ahora es una mujer felíz, que vive con sus nietos y sus perritos en Santa Coloma, llevando una vida tranquila…y no quiere saber nada de lo que fué.

That is what my parents used to tell me in the 1970s, that she was deaf and mute, and that she could only feel the rhythm of the music while performing. Incredible artist!!

Заметил когда у танцовщицы были отпущены волосы в низкие положение она их поднимает вверх только когда прозвучало на гитаре минорные аккорды семь раз я специально посчитал как у неё всё рассчитывает я думаю что многие не обратили зрители на это внимание просматриваю её часто потом нахожу что-то новое если раньше не обратил внимание то сейчас изучаю каждое её движение это танцовщица красивая с доброй улыбкой запала в мою душу многих танцовщиц посмотрел всем написал хорошие комментарии только один раз все понравились но запала в душу только это танцовщица может есть про неё документальный фильм я бы посмотрел с удовольствием Россия г.Саратов на Волге.

She was completely deaf until the age of 20. She gained partial hearing after that.
