I made a quick jig to mill smaller logs for woodworking and it worked great... you will need 2 sawhorses and a few 2x4s ...

I have been looking for a way to improve upon the alaskan mill. This is the first real contender I have found! I like the concept! Would want to see the log holding and adjusting mechanism improved though. 🙂
Anyway; great idea, and great proof of concept! 🙂

Yah for sure this was thrown together quite quickly if yah have any ideas for a better log holder post it. I now have a bandsaw mill I use but this worked really great for a really inexpensive alternative
