I listened to 70k min of music in 2022. I like all sorts of tunes. There is something that just sticks out about RKS. I discovered them last year. I listen to them every single day, and can't get sick of them. I have tried to figure out what makes them different than their "similar" acts. I have no idea what it is, I really can't put my finger on it. This is a great tune and will be in rotation no doubt. They can't miss.
I will say, I have thought of a couple nuggets. There are so many consonants in each bar, they fit so much into to their lyrics. Those jam packed lyrics are almost always saying something worth listening to.
However, the #1 thing I think that sets RKS apart is the fact they each individually and as a collective love what they do. It can also be so obvious that their own music is a guiding factor and something that impowers each band member; you can truly see it when they preform.
Anyway, I love and care about this band. More so than ever in the current political landscape.

My best good friend showed me this band recently and what a life changer!! I went to the county fair with her and had the time of my life with her!! She shared a video of us on one of the rides with this song playing starting from the part “we walked in like we hit the lotto” and it really struck me in the heart!! None of my friends have ever shared me on their social media like that so can’t help but get emotional thinking about it. She’s such a special friend and just different. I’ve truly become a better person because of her friendship!! I’m scared to take the next step though cuz I don’t want to lose what we have. She’s just rare! I love that girl and never wanna lose her!

Upset I missed you guys in Germany. When you have a kid things change and can’t do things you use to. I used to dance my son to sleep listening to guys. Now we dance together and chase each other around the house with your music on the radio. I remember hearing you guys for the first time at Voodoo Fest back in 2018 and was like who the hell is this band. From there I saw you guys two more times. Once in Memphis and the other time Houston. You guys have literally been my savior. Whenever I feel down and out. Saw this band live after finally waiting for years and all throughout highschool. That night was amazing but a girl had a bad trip during thw show and we had to get her with medic. Vegas always brings out some wild things but listening to them as we got her through the crowd.. a memory i will never forget.
