That new interchange reminds me of the M8, M74, M77 one in Glasgow. Very 'messy' and with junctions underneath the motorway,
a very immersive project, it really reminds me of a huge city entrance, where the harbour land uses meet an important highway node
i mean one can really feel that this place feeds this entire country with traffic

I wish I had the knowledge to build highways like that I would probably build a roundabout with some backroads entering and exiting the highway 😂
You should get the Picker tool mod! Such a game changer not having to manually browse for roads or buildings.
What mod for tweaking roads you use? Seems great. Fine Road Tool? I cant adjust shapes after its built, so probably not the one?
You can use Intersection Marking Tool and Node Controller.

If you have issues with your mic picking up background audio, I cannot recommend rtx voice enough, it’s available on gtx cards as well, not amd, but if your fan is having issues with your mic this will help

Sam please by default the "align height to object" feature of move-it is bound to the hotkey "ctrl-H"

Can you build a city but instead of using highways and highway interchanges using normal roads and multi level junctions?
No, he can't without using mods.
You need node controller and make the intersections wider. [Or expanded]

He cannot, it is one that has been heavily modified from the original.
Try using Mods Cities Skylines Urban Road (CSUR) so that the streets will be more real

@@codizzlesdad3743 Oh yeah I know for sure, it's just that if it was on xbox, things could obviously look even better, but I guess that one of the I guess "cool" parts of playing on xbox is that you have to be precise with almost everything to make a city look trully beautiful, which can be a nice challenge

I like the ethemism dislike the complexity.
Why not using the Node Controller mod? It would allow you to make any road splits and entrances much smoother and would allow you to make those places sloped giving better more realistic curves and slopes on the roads....other than that that junction looks amazing. Great job ;)

I don't know... I never found the appeal of highway interchanges. They are big, ugly and only satisfying if you go in 1st person and drive through 'em. Otherwise they are an eyesore. That's why I use them very sparingly.
It works for my cities tho.
Well everyone has their own tastes in architecture.
@Abstracc IC Personally, I think roundabouts look ugly. They look like the city equivalent of pimples.
