Dam Pukekohe racway is closing ,Iv been going there since the mid 70s ,it was built around a horse race track hence no track infield and mainly right turns

Just do it again, would cost f all to build exactly the same set up, cheap body shell simple 2.0 coswoth turbo motor, literally £4000 to build this car, I had coswoths and yes I built them at home, just do it all again, it's actually nothing special, all these old cars could be reproduced for f all cost,, think about it a brand new escort rs turbo today in 2022 £3000 and they would still make a profit
As awesome as it would be you couldn’t even build a yb cosworth motor for £4000 let alone a whole group a RS500. More like £200,000 there is a lot that goes into them.

You can buy brand new blocks and heads still, the heads are £6000 and the blocks are £4000 crazy money. Yeah the good old days I wish I had of brought lots of them and put them away. Would be awesome if they were all mass produced again would rather watch the group a cars than what we have now days for sure
