here's a random day in my Life as a trucker :)
this was a 6 hour shift going to NJ
I just wanna say thank you everyone for all the comments 🙏
I read them all! it's hard for me to respond to you all and then I feel guilty responding to some but not other so I'm chosing to step back for now from replying and plan on making videos responding to as many comments as I can! just know that I do read them all and I appreciate all the kind words and support!

Poppy seeds can trigger a false positive for Opioids. However you'd need to eat an ungodly amount and it isn't a problem with most workplace drug testing. 49CFR Part 40 Section 40.137 explains how positive results are addressed by Medical Review Officers.

Am I being extra.... you should get extra seasonings!!! There's no way you would test positive unless you were eating 5 gallon buckets of poppy seeds... especially if you like them. Me personally no likey, they get caught in my teeth 😊

Not sure if you seen.. maybe you well in the future.... But seen a girl 20 yrs old doing it man.. not in the trailer stuff. But got her license for trucking for pouring concrete.. and am working for work Tommorow.. but tired of working in construction. To put your boots on pour the slab. Finish the slab. Finish the actual pour.. detail work. Do the edges.. float.. and so on.. at times I work and 3-4 hrs of sleep and get back up.. times am super sour and o well... Right now it sucks... 2 days I'll be going payed low on work.. just unsure man.. if I want to get into this trailer or truck industry.. both amazing.. travel the world with trailing.. but seen some that it sucks isn't the same because of heavy traffic.. while truckers just come and go have lunch breaks. Own microwave to cook there food from home.... 23 wanting to be more then just this yr on yr wasting my life for bills only man... What's your thoughts.. at first I wanted to do barbering but it just soooo much competition man...

Nice Video you have for tonite Inji👍 I definitely enjoy those evening vibes you send from I-78 rolling east the hills and all the lights from the trucks and cars look so dreamy and I think is very cool to see the bright orange glow in the sky up ahead as you approach the big cities. And I admire your forethought about those kids because sometimes they aren't always thinking about what they are doing while doing silly things with their friends. And that dinner plate you present at the end looks a lot more appetizing to my eyes than fancy restaurant WOW😋 I wish I can have some right now It's my dinner time here in Virginia. Never had a problem with poppy seeds in 24 years of trucking locally. However my father almost passed away when poppy seeds clogged his colon, all good now. Great video/ channel as always you two!

It irks me when other drivers don't straighten out their wheels when they're parked. Never leave your steer tires turn one way or the other because you need that space, and it's just the right way to leave your equipment. Especially in the dark lol. Great video.

I also avoid poppy seeds and I too also love everything bagels. But I'm OTR so if I'm on hometime I will eat them.
Another nice video! I operated residential drug rehab programs for 30+ years...I assure you my staff did a lot of food with poppy seeds...never tested positive!! My clients, on the other hand, tried to use the "I must have eaten too many muffins, bagels,etc. when testing positive!! Always turned out to be Percocet, Vicodin, Oxycodone, etc. Enjoy your avocado toast with seasoning!! Nice international cuisine at home as well!! Looking out for you from New Orleans

I think they tested the poppy seed - drug test thing on Mythbusters. And if I recall, they proved that eating a lot of those kind of bagel can lead to a positive drug test
I’ve only been to NJ one time so far and it was a nice vibe. I just wish you didn’t have to pay for parking at virtually every truck stop
I used to get hit with a random bout every 6 months so i always wondered if its random then why some drivers went years without getting called in. Well i finally was told companies get a rating on passing test so if your called and pass your more likely to be called again to boost the rating probably helps with price of insurance.
I always felt the same way. They always tested me, because they knew I'd always pass.

Please advise me which one are more better to get CDL ? 1.paying your own tuition fee but you can pick where ever you want to apply or 2.through scholar grant but you will stock with the company for 1 year at least ?
I worked for Penske for Wawa in Sweedesboro as a driver. I wouldn’t worry about poppy seeds they are not strong enough to show up.

At my company we had 1 driver tested once a month for 4 months in a row, he was wondering the same thing. But it's just a coincidence after that he wasn't tested for 2 years. And poppy seeds aren't a problem you'll be fine.

I went to rehab years ago… I sat and ate everything bagels pretty much around the clock to regain some of the weight I lost.
I got called into the counselor’s office about a week later after having taken a drug test and… yep… tested POSITIVE for opioids!
I was an alcoholic prior to this, I never touched opioids ever. So, yes, be careful because (to me) it’s not even worth having any foods that could show as a false positive.
Not true about the poppy seed thing and drug tests.
I've had my cdl since 1994. Never failed a drug test and I eat poppy seeds all the time.
You'd have to eat a pretty fair amount of seeds to test positive. That being said, better to avoid if possible. I delivered to your warehouse not long ago. Not bad there

You would need to consume the seeds on the regular, once in a while you good eating seeds.

15:20 honestly that’s on you, not them. In a lot of city zones with three lanes like this, the speed limit will be 60mph. If they’re going under 60, yeah they should be in the right lane. Going the speed limit in the middle of the highway (second lane) is fine in the middle of the highway if and only if they’re not using an offramp in the third lane. If you were paying attention ahead of you, then you would have known to be in the first lane to completely avoid being blocked into the third lane, so it’s evident you aren’t practicing “leave an out” in your driving. In almost every city and state and almost all highway segments, it’s completely legal for a truck to use the first lane to safely pass slower traffic. Read your ordinances, it’ll save you lots of time and headaches. 5-8 seconds follow and cut-off distances need to be kept, especially when dark when it’s unnecessary to be so close.
Also, that’s really a silly reason to avoid poppy seeds. I’ve been randomly drug tested many times and I regularly consume poppy seeds with my bagels and bread. If you aren’t doing drugs, you have nothing to worry about.

Ive eaten stuff with poppyseeds on them and have tested right after with no problems. You'd have to eat an ungodly amount of them to teigger a false positive. After first time of eating them and not testing positive, i atopped worrying.

You are correct and you are doing the right thing I’ve had them and I’ve also taken a drug test I mean, thankfully it was only a fake one is only testing it, but it did come up positive

I drove OTR for 47 years and I've been retired for a year.When I think I miss driving I watch trucking videos. It reminds me why for many reasons why I stopped driving. I hate what driving became. Every other driver has a trucking vlog describing their day. Keep making your videos so I can watch for 5 seconds and be reminded why I don't miss driving anymore..

Police are everywhere in Massachusetts now too. Like bugs, when the weather warms up they buzz about. Had one follow me for literally 5 miles on residential streets. Had nothing to pull me over for. What a waste of our tax money. Gas is expensive nowadays too. Ive seen a few goid cops that are actually doing good work. But its unfortunate how many of them i see going excessive speeds and breaking the laws, when they are supposed to be role models. Saw a state trooper fly by me on the highway recently, going probably 90 mph. Then he was riding another cars ass when they wouldn't move faster than the speed limit. No sirens on either, so clearly wasn't an emergency.

Ok let me guess you are leased on to someone don’t have operating authority. Don’t pay insurance , fuel tax etc. you have a job. You’re not an owner op. Plus if you are pulling non union freight that was union you are a scab.

And I only pay $1.59 a gallon fir fuel. So I love having my trucks leased to them. I but my net a year is way bigger then yours sir
