    An amazing racket doesn’t make you an amazing player - game sens and fitness is key. Still a high end racket will help you a lot love ur vids ken!

      True. Each person's on-court performance is down to many different factors such as mental strength, physical fitness, consistency, accuracy, shot power, footwork efficiency etc. For the factors like consistency, accuracy and shot power where they directly are affected by the racket you use, a key focus is finding a racket that suits the individual player the best and allows them to perform to their best ability. A racket is not everything, but it certainly is a big part!

      @@KenKarsaputra I agree. I have seen so many people telling me that if they got a better racket they can smash better. Or they can play better. After many years of experience I can really say....no. Your form, footwork (especially in single), focus, practices and experiences makes up a big part of the game.
      What is the use of having an OP racket if you can’t even reach the shuttle in time?

      @@KenKarsaputra people also forget that a more powerful smash means there is a higher chance your opponent can trap you with a counter. A good player knows how to ‘borrow strength’ from a smash. Many times I would see an advance player simply using drops to completely demolish another player.

      99 and 100 zx are both singles rackets, 99 has a stiff shaft, so go for 4u, and 100 zx has flexible shaft, even thought it says extra stiff, and I can confirm it because I have it. 100 zx, go for 3u. 99 is for dominating power, but lack of defense, and 100 zx is good for control and slight less power than the 99.

      wouldn't do much, the strings might get a little softer as it is woven and it expands from the water then it dries out (so in this case I get the racket restrung after shooting the clips), the grip would also be better off changed and the wood underneath to be left to dry a little, but the actual racket itself is not harmed at all

    Really good review. I bought this racket recently and the frame is elongated even at a low tension as 24/26 lbs. What should I do?

    • @yaboinugnug5066
      @yaboinugnug5066 2 роки тому +2

      Are you sure your product is genuine? Normally, the frame shouldn't deform significantly (more than 2.5mm) in length or width when given normal stringing tensions and strung using proper technique. You can check with your stringer whether they really strung it at 24x26, and if they strung it properly. We can narrow down the answer to two: it's either not genuine, or your stringer strung the cross strings at too high a tension or with improper technique. I personally have both my rackets (Astrox 88d pro) strung at 26x28, and it has negligible (almost 0) deformation when strung with the 2 lbs increased cross tension. It's a year late, but hope this still helps.

    • @yaboinugnug5066
      @yaboinugnug5066 2 роки тому +1

      The deformation usually happens when your stringer does not pull and tension the strings one by one, but rather threads them through the racket, and then pulls multiple (all mains in one pull, and all crosses in one pull). This is a technically incorrect stringing method and is not advised by Yonex, but many stringers do this to save time when stringing large amounts of rackets. This has happened to me a couple of times, and I have had to avoid the stringer closest to me due to this problem. The incorrect stringing method can deform genuine Yonex rackets, so that might be the cause of your problem. Hope this helps.

    • @shibilimujeebshibili6410
      @shibilimujeebshibili6410 2 роки тому +2

      It was the racket. It's a defected unit. Yonex replaced it with another. The stringing method is correct, he did infront of while wait there. Thank you for response. Appreciate it.

    • @KenKarsaputra
      @KenKarsaputra  3 роки тому +1

      Also one of the most durable and useful metals out there, Yonex typically infuses tungsten into their racket build material rather than having pure solid tungsten, to reduce weight but give more solid-punch behind each shot.
