Why Bob Seger is a legend.
Master singer and storyteller.
Thanks for enjoying and commenting.
He is a Detroit Legend.
Welcome to Bob Seger
He’s a legit singer, song writer and musician
A crazy amount of really good music
“Like a Rock”
“ Night Moves”
“Come to Papa”
“Old time Rock n Roll”
“Her Strut”
“Hollywood Nights”
…..Ect. Ect . Ect. …….. so many
Let it Shine, Rock n’ Roll never Forgets are two more of my favorites.
Great musical choices
Bob Seger is a great rock singer, songwriter & musician known for his raspy powerful voice. He wrote & recorded songs that dealt with love, women & blue-collar themes. "Turn The Page" is my favorite song by him. But he has so many great songs especially in the 70's-80's such as "Mainstreet", "Still The Same", "Ramblin' Gamblin' Man", "Hollywood Nights", "Against The Wind", "You'll Accomp'ny Me", "Shame On The Moon", "Roll Me Away", "Like A Rock", "Shakedown", "We've Got Tonight", "Old Time Rock & Roll" etc.
And my forgot fav Mary Lou
"Night Moves" is what you should do next, You'll love it!!!!!!!! Love ya Shon!!!!
"Her Strut" is a banger!
"Mainstreet" and "Hollywood Nights" would be my other top two of his. Gotta hit them next.
Bob don't just have great songs. He made albums that you just push play because they are all bangers.Night Moves,Stranger in Town,Against the Wind, The Distance, Like a Rock... .Those are from his prime. There's so much more
This is a live version that is played instead of the studio version because of the strength of this live version. Seger said that in this version he had never heard the Silver Bullet Band sound better and his voice was on key. It was recorded during a long tour and the band was a tight as they have ever been. He has said that he does not think he'll be able to record another live album because of the crowds involvement in every song, it would almost be impossible to filler out 20,000 fans singing along. Which is exactly what you get at a Bob Seger concert. RIP Alto Reed the sax player
This was actually a "live" version Shon. That's hoe good Bob I'd, that you thought it was studio. He has decades of amazing songs. No matter what you pick, it will be a banger. 🤘😎
That saxophonist is the great Alto Reed, he played with Bob for years. RIP.
This was recorded live in Detroit on his "Live Bullet" album. Required listening for all of us back then who are finding ourselves to be 60 years old now....... this makes me feel young again
Retired truck driver here, and yes, you think a lot but never a boss overlooking you, screaming in your ear, and the best part is your office view changes every day!! This song, when it came on the radio it was always cranked right up! 🎉😊😎🇨🇦
I love Bob Seger!! This is one of my favorite songs as well as "Against the Wind", "Still the Same", "Fire Lake", "Shame on the Moon", "We've Got Tonight", and many more. Thanks for another great reaction Shon!
That sax is haunting bro
Shon, from one smart woman to one smart man.....I strongly suggest "Come to Poppa".....one of my favs !!......has a great beat.
Feel like a number is another underrated song. Sadly still too relatable even today.
Glad you picked this for your first Bob Seger song! The lyrics are great! Every Seger song is amazing. Try Night Moves, Like a Rock, Mainstreet, or We’ve Got Tonight next. All great!
Many good Bob Seger songs. He’s one of the best
Bob is the REAL DEAL
Certainly one of the greatest rock storytellers of all time. I've loved this guy's music for a really long time!
Bob is Legend Status in my family ❤❤❤
❤mine too❤
@@michellerutherford9551 its funny because my sister is named Michelle too, and she has a Bob Seger tattoo 🩶🩶😂

Welcome to this rabbit hole 🕳
One of my favorite song by Bob Seger is
🎶 Against the wind 🎶
You gonna adore this song too Keep the good work my friend ✌️ 👍🏼 👏 🧡
"Wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then" is one of the best single lines ever written.
Yes it is@@hectorsmommy1717
I saw him in 1978 and I was very close to the stage!! I was 18 at tat time and the concerts back then were everything to us in the 70’s. It cost $6.00 back then to get in to see all of the famous rockers. Awesome times and Bob Seger was AWESOME!!❤️
One of the best albums ever is Silver bullet live! i was fortunate enough to see Bob Segar live 5 times from 1977 to 1985. One of the best shows when the entire crowd was singing along. I saw Segar in Atlanta GA in 1977 he closed the concert and this was the last song. Alto Reed, the sax player was on fire.. Please do some more Bob Segar songs
Classic rock will always be the best music when going out on a long drive
Best song about a musician touring out on the road ever. Bob is an American treasure, he IS a Detroit rock legend!
I’ve had the pleasure of seeing him live, he sounds the same as when you hear him on the radio
Kid Rock WON the contest to induct Bob into the R & R Hall of Fame, that says it all. Bob is one of the best lyricist of all time and you understand why when you listen to his word magic. Try listening to him without the videos and you’ll take more in. The soundtrack of youth.
One of Detroit's finest!
If there was ever a rock star with his two feet firmly planted on terra firma, it was Bob Segar. An iconic performer performing an iconic tune.
Thank you for covering this one Shon!✌❤
Get to be 58yo and going to concerts for 50 years, the ringing in one’s ears never stops.
It's not about truck driving. It's about the life of being a celebrity performer.
From Michigan as Bob is and he is a pride and joy of ours!
Lucky enough to see twice in the 70’s. Alto Reed the sax player was spotlighted up in the balcony at start I thought the applause would bring the roof down. Will always love this man and his band
Bob is incredible at describing every aspect of his experiences in life..
This song is so deep..nothing else needs to be said. Classic Rock
Ahhhhhh……..a rabbit hole…!
Welcome to the world of Bob Seger!!
Welcome to the Bob Seger rabbit hole! Please please please, explore and enjoy!
The sax player is "Alto Reed"..... He's a staple with the Silver Bullet Band.
I had the pleasure of seeing him perform this live from the front row! Amazing performance. Lifetime memory
Shame On You Moon and Katmandu are my favorite Bob Seger songs.
Being from Michigan, Seger is an Detroit boy. He is heralded in this state. Definitely a legend
Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band had just played a concert in Dubuque, Iowa. They were in the bus, driving the long stretch of Interstate 80, through Iowa. On the way to Omaha, where they were playing the next night. He wrote this on that ride.
Bob's a national treasure IMHO! Songs of my youth & one of the best concerts ever!
"Sunspot baby", "Come to Poppa", "Katmandu", "Betty Lou's getting out tonight".
I had the privilege of seeing him in concert twice. He was so laid back and the crowd was going crazy.
Always , Always, loved the music. Finally got to see him in Concert a few years ago in Tulsa. Rocked the house like it was 50 years ago.
This song by Bob Seger “Turn The Page”, I always believed he was letting people know what his singing career is in REALITY, touring, performing,ETC.
Bob Seger is one smoooth ROCKER 😎
Seger is a staple of top tier lyrical songs. He lets us visualize with his storytelling. You will love his catalog of music. Great reaction. Take care.
My very first LP when I was 8 years old....Bob Segar & The Silver Bullet Band "Live Bullet" wore it the heck out!
Great reaction Shon! Thanks! Next try Sunspot Baby or Fire Down Below. Both great songs!
So vivid. That’s the word, right? This is such a thoughtful, ambivalent track. It’s moody, it’s tired, it’s hopeful, it’s committed, and it’s a little bit bored.
This was my first concert in 1981 in Toronto. My Dad knew a scurity gaurd that worked the CNE grsndstands and he let us in for free and we had front row seats this concert rocked😂 I also saw him in 1982. You should react to the famous final scene live if you can find it. Or old time rock and roll its really fun❤
I went to a bob concert in Chicago in the 70s and at the beginning the stage was dark and all of a sudden you heard the sax and a spot light hit the sax player about 30 ft. In the air and he was being let down on a rope or something. Crazy times.
Back in th3 80s my dad had his greatest hits on cassette and it was a road trip staple. I thought he was a brother till I was older. Soul havenest white brother ever.
"Strut" Shon. There are many great Bob Segar songs that tell amazing stories. But "Strut" will stay in your head for a while!
I love to watch her strut.
Another great son by Bob.
Right? He's articulate. Gives me chills
Night Moves, Hollywood Nights, Like a Rock and shame on the moon
Yes! Next: Mainstreet; Against the Wind; Old Time Rock and Roll; and Night Moves. Gifted man and performer.
Seger is a deep and rewarding dive! ♥
I'll never forget seeing this live. Alto Reed and Bob were amazing and the stage lights❤
Great reaction to this amazing song!
So glad you found this one. I saw Bob Seger & SBB on this tour. They were opening for KISS. The show began with sax player Alto Reed high up on a platform with a spot light on him blowing the opening to Turn The Page. Loved your reacrion to it. Wish you could have been with us in 1974-75!
Roll Me Away is another great song of his that tells a story about wanting to get away from everything and clearing your head.
I was so in love with him, guess I still am
Once again…you’ve made me smile! All the people out there reviewing songs, they have nothing on you. Thanks for putting a smile on this Oklahoma girl’s face! 😊
This is my absolute favorite song of all time!!!
This was other 1 of my mom's favorites. I heard this song so many times as a kid that I still (as a middle aged adult) remember all the words.
Bob Seger was my first concert when I was just 15 years old in 1978. Spent the whole $11 for a ticket and what a show it was amazing talent
Love this song Bob Segar was my brother's favorite singer he sung kareokee this was his favorite song to sing and was good at it...they played this song at his funeral.
The legendary Bob Seger was the first white artist to be offered a contract from Motown records. Berry Gordy saw the amazing talent in Bob early on
Finally, BOB! thank you. His songs are amazing and his catalog deep. I know you have to have heard one or two of his songs at least. many are in Movies, commercials, TV shows, sports etc. Try "like a rock, " "Night moves", "Against the wind," " Fire down below ", "Hollywood Nights", "Roll me away. " I'm sure you know Old Time Rock and Roll. Aliens in space even know that song but way over played over the years. Please do more Bob.
Michigan rock and roll at its finest! You are going to get tons of suggestions and they will all be good. When selecting videos, Seger is one of the rare performers who live performances going to be even better than the studio versions. My personal fav is Trying to Live My LIfe Without You -- not as popular as others, but so much fun.
You've just gotta be the best reactor of all time!! You feel every song you react to..never stop✌️💞
I have seen his 2 times in concert. Once many years ago. One later in life. He sounded the same. Moose Brown is his bass/ piano man. Great musician and song writer
Night Moves next bro.
Bob Segar is one of the best story tellers music has to offer, he takes you on a journey. I was lucky to see him three times in concert. Each time it was well worth the price of admission.
Bro, seriously, at least 20 Bob Seger songs worth reacting to. I'm sure they're in these comments. A good rabbit hole to go down.
I absolutely loved your reaction to this. He's a white man with a black mans soul. Word
I've been to no less then a 100 concerts. Saw Bob 3 times, 2nd time 3rd row, he's great!
Like a Rock Roll me Away
Many, many more to go with Bob.
I think you're obliged to do "Old Time Rock and Roll." You've probably heard it somewhere... "We've Got Tonight" and "Against the Wind" are a couple other faves.
Yeah, every job has its downsides, even the ones you love. Love this song.
Isn't he a great talent? I've been listening to Bob Seger for decades! Check out the song C'est La Vie for a totally different Bob. He makes me cry every time I hear him sing Mainstreet. You've got to get into his catalog of music, Shon. You'll not regret it! Warm thoughts and high vibes from Alberta Canada.
The first time I heard Bob Seger was in the early 70s to Her Strut. From then on l have been a fan
MR. SEGER THE LEGEND
Thank you for giving the old timers a chance, bro.
You will love..... Come to papa .....Bob has so many great songs.
Ledge. Pure & simple. 🙋♂
Can’t go wrong when it comes to Seger!
I love shame on the moon it wasn’t one of his most popular songs but that’s probably why I like it it’s so different
Love Seger's music and voice. One of my favorite live albums is "Live Bullet"
Hey man… Thanks for bringing this back. Great memories.
I enjoyed watching you discover it.
Blessings.
That's Bob Seeger.....the real pronunciation. 😊
My all time favorite artist! I asked for concert tickets starting at 12 y/o and saw him close to a hundred times. For a really cool change of pace, check out Get out of Denver, you just can't sit still for that one.
He was known for his low, husky voice.
'Like A Rock'.....BOB'S OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO FOR THAT one is great
I've loved them since I was a kid
Bob's music was the soundtrack of my teen years. So starstruck seeing him live at the age of 17, he'll always have a special place in my heart. Night Moves is my go-to.
Alto Reed on that sax, RIP.
Pick any song, with Bob you can't go wrong. Come to Poppa, Sunspot Baby, Hollywood Night, Accompany Me, Old Time Rock n Roll and on and on and on
Love your enthusiasm. Real good reactions for Bob Seger. He was a real road warrior in late sixties till mid 70's. Huge locally in Midwest, huge in Michigan. His live album "Live Bullet"
in '75 got a lot of FM airplay, particularly Turn the Page. The next year he released "Night Moves" and he had a tremendous 15 yr run of hits + classic albums. Two of my faves are
"Roll Me Away" + " Feel like a Number".
Keep cooking up your special blend of responses.
Great reaction and review Bob is one of the greats
Really enjoy all your videos! It's great to see the younger generation appreciate the greats from our time! Loved your Jackson Brown reaction and Bob Seger ❤
Betty Loos getting out tonight.....and come to poppa is my favorites. They are mire upbeat
