Hidden Deep is a 2D action & exploration sci-fi thriller set in a mining and research facility - more than a mile under the ocean floor.
A group of researchers detected strange anomalies of unknown nature and organized an expedition to examine the mysterious phenomenon. Promises to be a fantastic experience! I remember playing this game earlier this year when the demo was available for everyone and had great fun.

Earlier today, was literally watching Jacob Geller's video on the fear of depths in gaming, guess the algorithm knew cave-diving would be in vogue again sometime!
Considering that death is plentiful in Hidden Deep, will there be the possibility of two respawn mechanics when it comes to death: one where it's the classic you die you respawn mechanic and another where you have a small team of 3 that continues the job of the fallen leader before being replaced?

The gameplay in this is so nice. If I could change one thing in my beta experience, it would be making the grapple launcher smoother to pull out and put away while moving.

I have access to the beta on steam, but everytime i launch the game then press enter on the main screen, windows gives me an error "Windows Exception - Exception-Access-Violation" and nothing more. I tried searching for ways to stop the error but nothing works. If anyone know's what's up, give a hint. Thanks in advance.

0 Hitfeedback when you shoot at the monsters, looks like the bullets miss
lol heavily disagree. I just finished the beta, the guns sound strong, when you hit enemies there’s an audible wet thud and blood mist sprays out, they get considerably slower and even start to limp. It’s great!
Ps.
Also their inertia stops when they are hit.
