Hidden Deep is a 2D Action & Exploration Sci-Fi thriller set more than mile under the ocean floor. A group of researchers detected there some strange anomalies of unknown nature and organized an expedition to examine this mysterious phenomenon. After 681 days contact with the researchers suddenly breaks off. At this point you are entering as the leader of the second team who must check what happened there.
Hidden Deep is an old-school game inspired by classic Sci-Fi games and movies of the 80's and 90's (mainly Aliens, The Thing, Half-Life) and an addictive bit of dark plot. A lot of emphasis was placed on richness and quality of character animations and general realism (as for 2D game). The game is running on its own engine with physics simulation and destructive terrain.

I really really love these physics based little to no hud games
Just played it for a couple of hours and im not even bored, the game is amazing
very good game, ambiance, music, it reminds me of Carrion, but now from the perspective of the human being

So many spoilers in this trailer wow. I wish I hadn’t watched this. The shooting, the part with the stomach eating the dude, there were a few more. Man.
Yeah, halfway through them showing the monsters I should've stopped, but kept going. Never heard of this game before and was intrigued, the trailer is very atmospheric but you are totally right, it spoils exactly the things I would never have expected. Guess this is the reason I barely watch trailers.

Anyone remember old enough (DOS maybe) 2D horror "Hunter"? Caves, ceiling spiders, monsters and you to confront them and explore the area with shelves, shadows and dark suspence. This game strongly remains me of it

@@cognoto2159 look. The numpads on thee keyboard. If you press numbers it will just go to a certain time in the video. For example if i press 1 it will bring me to 1 minute of the video. They keypad is just a short cut instead of clicking and sliding the red bar

Will the developers ever consider of bringing Hidden Deep into PlayStation 4 one day? Like Carrion, Limbo & Outlast?
I bought it, played it, it seemed very bare bones, TWO weapons, only a few enemy types, and some just showed up ONCE. I hope this is not a scam. I like what I have played, but only because it was early access.
They will add more enemies and maps and also steam workshop. Its on the roadmap look at it. I bought it today and also bought barotrauma.

В точности half-llfe, даже немного есть сходство с графикой а именно 3d моделирование персонажей, открытый мир гироскутеры воздушные подушки, прям один в один и ещё вид от первого лица. Спасибо Vgtimes такую игру похожую на half-llfe я бы точно не нашёл однозначно, я вообще подумал что гейб лично принимал участие в разработке и выпустил новую часть half-llfe
