RI.P. Eddie, R.I.P. Mike, Those of Us that Know JUST KNOW how Fucking GREAT this band was... I had seen them COUNTLESS TImes those first two albums.. LIVE they were AMAZING... THOSE were THE days !!!!! 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Amazing song. I don't think they played it out for too long. I'm thinking they probably stopped around the time Mike left the band. I saw them a bunch after that, but never saw the Future live. RIP Eddie & Mike.
@@Danfrombackhome Yes, he passed. His family put an open invite to his services on social media. I hope knowing how much of an impact he had through his music and how he was a genuine friend to so many helped a bit.
From the moment I first heard them over 30 years ago, I got nothing but love for this band!!! Pokey is also a beast! Still top 5 material. Much Love from Germoney
This was actually before Desperate Measures came out. It was opening for Suicidal Tendencies in December of 1990 I believe. The first time I ever saw Leeway and I was blown away. I was only 15
RIP to Eddie, absolute legendary and the best vocalist out of NYHC. Only chimed in with the date because I was trying to figure out if I'd been to this one, and I had. Classic Eddie with the hair, he looked so evil and cool to me, at 15, too! RIP also to Michael GIbbons, passing away in Dec 2023
I was also at this show and it was opening for suicidal. What an amazing show. One of the kings of NYHC. No barricades and great pits. Thankful for those days!
Well I think that was Aerosmith and RUN DMC that you mean. This is LEEWAY. Hardcore attitude with metal overtones... some called it CROSSOVER. I call it brilliant. If anything, Leeway is hard to but into a box. They were unique.
I still have my ticket stub for this show. November 17, 1990. I saw them once more Mar 28, 1992 at The Marquee. This time they were "headlining" and Mucky Pup opened.
I was lucky enough to see Leeway when they came to the West Coast during Born to Expire era w/Bad brains and SOIA. Bad ass band that rep'd during the height of NYHC.
I was too young than. I think i was 12 so it wasnt happening. Saw leeway a yr. Or so later i was lucky my cousin was filling in doing tech support shit at a show at maxs n he got me in. Warzone played it changed my life.

LEEWAY were effin' unreal! The beats, the riffs....

The future aint what it used to be. Great opener. How relevant of a song still as well
Bigtime. They were clearly pumped about their new material. Times were a changing.
