It'd be an absolute meme if MK1 rebooted itself AGAIN because timeline reboots are just cop-outs for when the writers back themselves into a corner lol.
So, they should kill off half the cast and start new. We already have seen that the mk community can't handle that. They made a game without Scorpion, and the fans went crazy. They killed lui Kang off 2x and the fans went crazy. Lui, Kitana, and Kung Lao weren't supposed to be in mkx.

Only way to fix it is to hard reboot the series (no more in universe reboots) into another mkt/mk9 remake and go on from there. They have to restore those initial story beats then NEVER screw with it again, only ever moving forwatd.
@megarob4741 Back when MKX was being developed and leaked, I assumed it would be the 'SF3' of Mortal Kombat; essentially keeping two mainstay characters while wiping all the others and bringing almost all new faces (Sub-Zero and Scorpion with all newcomers, like Ryu and Ken being in Second Impact with mostly all new faces)
It's deeply disappointing to see how Mortal Kombat has handled the franchise recently, with gender-swapped characters and drastic changes to established lore like making Hanzo, Hasashi, and Bi-Han brothers. As a day one fan, it's hard to watch the continuity that many of us grew up with being altered so drastically. While I understand that things must evolve, I hope future installments find a way to correct these missteps. I know the community is divided on these changes, but this is just my opinion, and I respect that others may feel differently.
i didn't want them to reset the timeline again but after playing the story and seeing the character changes i really want them to reset it again. I wish MK can go back to martial arts/fantasy instead of doing multiverses. Keep that superhero shit in Injustice. PLEASE!
Honestly I’m fine and I even like the multiverse direction they went with MK. MK 1 did the multiverse idea well imo. I know people are suffering from “multiverse fatigue” because of Marvel, DC and Multiversus. But the multiverse direction opened up new opportunities and possibilities for MK 1 We can have any character become the main villain now, since the Titan versions of all the characters exist. Titan Havik is a great idea since Havik needs to be the main villain in a MK game. After Titan Havik, we can possibly have more dlc story expansions where Titan Onaga or the Titan version of any MK character is the main villain. Imagine Titan Hsu Hao, Titan Drahmin, Titan Moloch, Titan Kira or whoever Invasions is boring but I love the cutscenes and the feature of giving every character skins that are themed after the Titan character is an amazing idea
@coomslayer6996 I see what you're saying, but I feel like that it would get really repetitive. Earthrealm wins another titan shows up Earthrealm beats that titan, then another titan shows up. You can have villains without them being titans. Sometimes, I feel like the different timelines just gives them an excuse to change anything. Havik isn't as strong as God Liu Kang, so instead of using a character that could compete with him, just use Havik and call him a titan, and now Liu Kang has competition. I just think it's kinda lazy, and it's just a safety net for any errors in the story.

The cyber ninjas have always been my favorite characters (the first MK game I played was MK Trilogy on the PS1). I personally hate the fact they changed Cyrax & Sektor to female Iron Men lol. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” as the saying goes. They didn’t need to do that.

Thank you. Dark, violent, and gory. Hand to hand combat has taken a side note and a lot of projectiles are used from firearms and heavy into the Special Forces. Sonya, Jax, Jacqui Briggs (sucks), Cassie Cage(sucks), Stryker(sucks), Erron Black(potential). Maybe every character has the basic mma fighting skills, with a specialized background in a specific style martial art and weaponry.
@visionarybrushstroker7694 Just a list of characters that started to use firearms for projectiles, especially in MK10 - Mk11. Jax is cool enough with the enhanced arms, and Sonya was best in MK3 and MK9 and even characterwise in the 95 Mortal Kombat movie.

He said that Mortal Kombat felt darker and gritty under midway, midway was not afraid to kill off fan favorite characters but under NRS it feels safe and PG like NRS are afraid to get backlash for killing off fan favorites.
Im sorry, as someone who played the original mk arcade machine on day 1, they do not appear at all to be trying to apoeal to my generation. It feels more like they're trying to overwrite it. My particular problem with this pack, outside of the fact that noob saibot looks like he fell out of fortnight, is the generic stand ins for cyrax and sektor, and all guest characters in general. I dont play mk to play non-mk characters.
@napalmsanctuaryx4129 Tekken and Street fighter would bring characters in as a treat, but guest characters won't be the focal point of their respected games. Both primarily focus on creating their own characters or bringing back characters from old games. MK likes to play the guest character slot even if they don't fit their games style.

I don't know if NRS put them in the game as women as part of some sort of agenda or since it's Liu Kangs timeline, they decided to just change things randomly. I wouldn't necessarily mind the gender flip if there was some kind of reason for it. I feel like NRS made the change just because. If there was a good lore reason for it, other than "new era", I wouldn't mind it, but I doubt there is.

Sektor is my favorite mortal kombat character and now that they gender swapped him it kinda sucks and feels like I’m not getting the character i love in the game
I swear NRS and Ed boon hate sektor and cyrax for some reason because first off, they made them unplayable in mk11 when they were in the story mode when Ed boon said no more NPCs in the story mode which was a lie. Yeah, I really hate timelines and the new era. I feel they shot themselves in the foot when they introduced timelines because why should I care about these new changes if in some other timeline, the characters are the way they are previously. I don't think I would've minded these changes if this was the only timeline in existence, but the fact remains they established others do exist so why can't we have Tanya be wily, seductive and traitorous, why can't we have Hanzo be Scorpion, why can't we have Sektor and Cyrax be male and actual cyborgs. I hate being this negative but it's a pity to see MK suffer this degradation. My hope is that this storyline wraps up the MCU bullshit and they focus on one timeline whether they stick to their changes or not, just have one timeline and focus on good character development/writing, make them interesting and fleshed out regardless if you made major changes to them instead of writing bad fanfiction where you're smashing action figures together (which is a lot of the most recent MK entries sadly have been). Fingers crossed.
One of my main problems for mk guest characters is that they don't have the resources to fit well in an mk game at all to where there's a 50/50 that it would fail or succeed. Kombat pack 2 speaks for its failure.

There's a way to clean up all this timeline mess without a total reboot. Once they decide MK one has run it's course, the final DLC should have Titan Shao Kahn as the main boss. This would be the same Shao Kahn who won Armageddon in the original timeline. Taking him down would allow someone Taven to prevent Armageddon in that timeline and from the next game onwards, we have games set in the original timeline once again. With an established multiverse, there's always scope for bringing back some of these new takes on characters in the future. But the main thrust of the story would move forward in the original timeline.
The issue with a lot of swaps like these is it comes with a side of, "We don't want y'all to have actual additional diversity. You want more women to play as in M1K? Say less, we'll check out some males and see what we can do. You want another woman to play in the Suicide Squad, who can control ice? Say less, we'll look away from 3 Killer Frosts and go straight to Mister Freeze and make an alternate Asian bloodline in which a woman shares his story, definitely not a Nora-becomes-Freeze/Victor-is-frozen story. Ya want Sgt. Johnson in the Amazon Prime Halo series? Say less we'll cast a Sgt. Johnson looking actor as an originally Euro-descent character. Y'all say y'all want Teen Titans who are humans of non-Euro-descent? Say less, we'll see if some non-Euro actors are the best for the role for classically Euro characters and never even hint at Bumblebee, Herald, Hotspot, Pantha, Mas y Menos, Bushido. Hawk & Dove are more known than Bumblebee, right? But we champion diversity and inclusion, so we'll give you Duke Thomas on a computer screen". It does not help the way the people behind these think it does. I want to play Uma Thurman's The Bride, a Wonder Woman who can do Fatalities which would be fitting. Honest take: people are comparing this kp2 to something like mk11's aftermath, which gave us sheeva, fujin, and robocop. which, in my opinion, was mid outside of fujin. Honestly, I've wanted ghost face in a mortal kombat game for a while. While he would have fit into mkx better, I am glad he is in one finally.
Since they have the Van Damme skin for Johnny Cage that basically replaces Cage with Van Damme, they can do something similar for Cyrax and Sektor, making their male counterparts available as separate skins.
You know I actually see this tossed around a lot with the Sub-Zero argument of “who’s gonna be the next one” I think it would be really cool for them to give the spotlight to Frost for once. Introduce her in the DLC as Sub’s protege since she’s mentioned in intro dialogue and have her be Bi-Han’s underling and when he gets turned into Noob just make her take the lead and lead the Lin Kuei for something different. We would still have a “Sub-Zero” like character who can use ice powers, but a chance would be given to Frost. I hated her old arc in deadly alliance/armageddon and even in mkx she had a bad arc, so this could fix that.
It's mentioned in an intro between Sub-Zero and Shao that a promising new protégé of Sub-Zero means to dethrone him and it's all but confirmed to be Frost.
I just don't care for all these guest characters anymore. Just have one or something at the maximum not half the kombat pack. Reminder : they could've put in Sonya, Jax, and Kano but instead they chose Ghost Face, Conan, and T-1000.
Im 100% on the side that dont like change for the sake of change. I dont like gender/race swap characters because thats apart of their identity. I dont want female Cyrax or Sektor no more than I want a male Black Canary or a black James Bond. Im all for developers making NEW characters over changing old ones for the sake of change. Female cyrax and sektor couldve easily been new female members of the Lin Kuie (not sure I spelled it correctly). They couldve had origional names like Solt and Peppor or Crimsom Flame and Goldeen who play like their male counterparts but are origional characters with their own identities and skillsets. But no, Neatherrealm just like Disney and seemingly all of modern media has this itch to make everything gay, trans or unnecessary identity changes. At this point, im not looking forward to anything new. I love my old ps1-ps3 games and I have a new appreciation for my ps3

I don't get the hate for the T-1000. One of the best action movie villains of all time from one of the greatest action movies of all time, with a lot of potential for moves and fatalities, sounds pretty awesome to me. I completely understand being annoyed at actual Mortal Kombat characters getting passed over all the time, but if there are gonna be guest characters, I think the T-1000 is pretty good pull.
I want to see your opinion if they gender bend Liu Kang or Shang Tsung. Technically gender is not essential to any characters in MK. But then again it's ABSOLUTELY essential to the fans. The two main reasons are because one Sektor and Cyrax are females and two they put another Arnold character in which I completely agree on because those are such bad moves, but I’m still excited for Noob, Ghostface and T1000

I was born in 2002 and I have never seen a terminator move in my entire entire life. I’m not old ass boomer. This is not stuff I mess with, the only reason why people buying know about the terminator is because his iconic character they need to start adding characters people up with at least like Goku Luffy characters like that. it looked like they were going to do that with the first combat pack because they added Homelander Omni man and peacemaker, but then they fumbled it by adding all these old irrelevant characters that no one cares about you an anime character from the 2010 guarantee you would get better sales.

Kameo characters need to be playable for a bigger roster in future dlc packs if mk1 is going to be supported longer and 1v1 needs to return and mk needs to go back to it's roots the darker gorier days of yesteryear midway setting and get tf away from WB mk needs a serious overhaul with every character and have more freedom to do what they want with their franchise without the control of WB
To me what was the point of FINALLY getting JCVD to be part of the game yet you make him a skin. A fuckin skin of another character when he could have legit been a DLC character playing the guy in Kickboxer and/or Uninversal Soldier. Two iconic parts he played. That’s all I’m saying. All I want is Shredder. We got TNMT in Injustice 2 so I’d love to have Shredder in an MK.

Regarding the guest characters, at this point I just think NetherRealm should do a Mortal Kombat-like game with horror licenses. They can easily do it and it would give them plenty of time to think ahead about the future of both Mortal Kombat & Injustice. Also, it's crazy that the only game that did this is a fan-game named Terrordrome made by 2 dudes in Canada and it was awesome. The fact NRS didn't do anything like this when they can easily do it because of Warner Bros. is beyond me.

Yeah, genderswapping Sektor and Cyrax just kinda makes Triborg a solo character lol, which is cool in my opinion, I've always had Triborg as a main in MKX, the concept of a robot being able to perfectly mimic different fighter's way of combat just by studying how they move and fight, and being able to change his form or armour according to the fighter he selected has always been the coolest concept for me.
T-800 ironically is more melee based than the terminator. Hes a shapeshifter and is disguised as a cop to be incognito. Conan is the random one for me, just bring back Kotal Kahn at that point.
Cyrax and Sektor had backstory in a Chinese warrior clan... men... A woman wouldnt have had the opportunity to become the iterations of Cyrax and Sektor. And, Ghostface, eh..5/10. Conan- rather have Kotal Khan. And the T-1000, would rather have a new ninja with backstory with similar qualities and/or movesets like Krome. Want women in the game? I can see them trying to make Hanzo sub zero in next game. I’d rather scorpion in this game hand over the scorpion mantle to Hanzo and become sub zero in hornor of his brother and try to use the sub zero mantle for good not “evil”. In my experience of the MK Universe, I don't think anyone or anybody is scratching the surface of what they're seeing. One, Sektor and Cyrax. Yes, they are women now, but if it's not them?! It could be their own daughters that's replacing them in the new era. Two, Bi-Han has to die in order to turn into Noob Saibot. So it's safe to assume he will go back to be Sub-Zero again, right?! And three, Guest Characters! WHO CARES!! As long as they have good gameplay, we can all be happy about until they announce Kombat Pack 3!

Mk1 has Sold incredibly well, but doesn't represent when you compare the data of players actually playing the game! In fact with the stat's of player base, you would think it didn't sell that well? Nearly 200GIGS later and the game is still empty! 4 out of 10 and that's Generous!
Honestly I'm super dissatisfied I just hope they reboot it again and never mention this new era stuff and just go back to how the characters were originally.

Not a fan of it, im a huge fan of Sektor since the beginning and i am extremely disappointed in what they done to both sektor and cyrax. If they wanted to bring more female characters in they could of used existing female characters that people want like Jade. Their designs look dumb but i guess that is an opinion of mine. Just hope we get the original Sektor and Cyrax skins later on or at least better looking female versions. But in the end i would rather have no Sektor and Cyrax at all if would of known this was what they were doing.
It'd be an absolute meme if MK1 rebooted itself AGAIN because timeline reboots are just cop-outs for when the writers back themselves into a corner lol.

So, they should kill off half the cast and start new. We already have seen that the mk community can't handle that. They made a game without Scorpion, and the fans went crazy. They killed lui Kang off 2x and the fans went crazy. Lui, Kitana, and Kung Lao weren't supposed to be in mkx.

Only way to fix it is to hard reboot the series (no more in universe reboots) into another mkt/mk9 remake and go on from there. @megarob4741 Back when MKX was being developed and leaked, I assumed it would be the 'SF3' of Mortal Kombat; essentially keeping two mainstay characters while wiping all the others and bringing almost all new faces (Sub-Zero and Scorpion with all newcomers, like Ryu and Ken being in Second Impact with mostly all new faces)
It's deeply disappointing to see how Mortal Kombat has handled the franchise recently, with gender-swapped characters and drastic changes to established lore like making Hanzo, Hasashi, and Bi-Han brothers. As a day one fan, it's hard to watch the continuity that many of us grew up with being altered so drastically. While I understand that things must evolve, I hope future installments find a way to correct these missteps. I know the community is divided on these changes, but this is just my opinion, and I respect that others may feel differently.

We can have any character become the main villain now, since the Titan versions of all the characters exist. Titan Havik is a great idea since Havik needs to be the main villain in a MK game. After Titan Havik, we can possibly have more dlc story expansions where Titan Onaga or the Titan version of any MK character is the main villain. Imagine Titan Hsu Hao, Titan Drahmin, Titan Moloch, Titan Kira or whoever
Invasions is boring but I love the cutscenes and the feature of giving every character skins that are themed after the Titan character is an amazing idea

You can have villains without them being titans. Sometimes, I feel like the different timelines just gives them an excuse to change anything. Havik isn't as strong as God Liu Kang, so instead of using a character that could compete with him, just use Havik and call him a titan, and now Liu Kang has competition. I just think it's kinda lazy, and it's just a safety net for any errors in the story.

The cyber ninjas have always been my favorite characters (the first MK game I played was MK Trilogy on the PS1). I personally hate the fact they changed Cyrax & Sektor to female Iron Men lol. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” as the saying goes. They didn’t need to do that.

Thank you. Dark, violent, and gory. Hand to hand combat has taken a side note and a lot of projectiles are used from firearms and heavy into the Special Forces. Sonya, Jax, Jacqui Briggs (sucks), Cassie Cage(sucks), Stryker(sucks), Erron Black(potential). Maybe every character has the basic mma fighting skills, with a specialized background in a specific style martial art and weaponry.

My particular problem with this pack, outside of the fact that noob saibot looks like he fell out of fortnight, is the generic stand ins for cyrax and sektor, and all guest characters in general. I dont play mk to play non-mk characters.

Both primarily focus on creating their own characters or bringing back characters from old games. MK likes to play the guest character slot even if they don't fit their games style.

I don't know if NRS put them in the game as women as part of some sort of agenda or since it's Liu Kangs timeline, they decided to just change things randomly. I wouldn't necessarily mind the gender flip if there was some kind of reason for it. I feel like NRS made the change just because. If there was a good lore reason for it, other than "new era", I wouldn't mind it, but I doubt there is.

Yeah, I really hate timelines and the new era. I feel they shot themselves in the foot when they introduced timelines because why should I care about these new changes if in some other timeline, the characters are the way they are previously. I don't think I would've minded these changes if this was the only timeline in existence, but the fact remains they established others do exist so why can't we have Tanya be wily, seductive and traitorous, why can't we have Hanzo be Scorpion, why can't we have Sektor and Cyrax be male and actual cyborgs. I hate being this negative but it's a pity to see MK suffer this degradation. My hope is that this storyline wraps up the MCU bullshit and they focus on one timeline whether they stick to their changes or not, just have one timeline and focus on good character development/writing, make them interesting and fleshed out regardless if you made major changes to them instead of writing bad fanfiction where you're smashing action figures together (which is a lot of the most recent MK entries sadly have been). Fingers crossed.

There's a way to clean up all this timeline mess without a total reboot. Once they decide MK one has run it's course, the final DLC should have Titan Shao Kahn as the main boss. This would be the same Shao Kahn who won Armageddon in the original timeline. Taking him down would allow someone Taven to prevent Armageddon in that timeline and from the next game onwards, we have games set in the original timeline once again. With an established multiverse, there's always scope for bringing back some of these new takes on characters in the future. But the main thrust of the story would move forward in the original timeline.
The issue with a lot of swaps like these is it comes with a side of, "We don't want y'all to have actual additional diversity. You want more women to play as in M1K? Say less, we'll check out some males and see what we can do.
You want another woman to play in the Suicide Squad, who can control ice? Say less, we'll look away from 3 Killer Frosts and go straight to Mister Freeze and make an alternate Asian bloodline in which a woman shares his story, definitely not a Nora-becomes-Freeze/Victor-is-frozen story.
Ya want Sgt. Johnson in the Amazon Prime Halo series? Say less we'll cast a Sgt. Johnson looking actor as an originally Euro-descent character.

Honest take: people are comparing this kp2 to something like mk11's aftermath, which gave us sheeva, fujin, and robocop. which, in my opinion, was mid outside of fujin. Honestly, I've wanted ghost face in a mortal kombat game for a while. While he would have fit into mkx better, I am glad he is in one finally.
They seems like fan casts. Like someone made a wishlist on reddit and Netherealm just put it in the game.
Since they have the Van Damme skin for Johnny Cage that basically replaces Cage with Van Damme, they can do something similar for Cyrax and Sektor, making their male counterparts available as separate skins.
You know I actually see this tossed around a lot with the Sub-Zero argument of “who’s gonna be the next one” I think it would be really cool for them to give the spotlight to Frost for once. Introduce her in the DLC as Sub’s protege since she’s mentioned in intro dialogue and have her be Bi-Han’s underling and when he gets turned into Noob just make her take the lead and lead the Lin Kuei for something different. We would still have a “Sub-Zero” like character who can use ice powers, but a chance would be given to Frost. I hated her old arc in deadly alliance/armageddon and even in mkx she had a bad arc, so this could fix that.
It's mentioned in an intro between Sub-Zero and Shao that a promising new protégé of Sub-Zero means to dethrone him and it's all but confirmed to be Frost.
I just don't care for all these guest characters anymore. Just have one or something at the maximum not half the kombat pack. Reminder : they could've put in Sonya, Jax, and Kano but instead they chose Ghost Face, Conan, and T-1000.

Im 100% on the side that dont like change for the sake of change. I dont like gender/race swap characters because thats apart of their identity. I dont want female Cyrax or Sektor no more than I want a male Black Canary or a black James Bond. Im all for developers making NEW characters over changing old ones for the sake of change. Female cyrax and sektor couldve easily been new female members of the Lin Kuie (not sure I spelled it correctly). They couldve had origional names like Solt and Peppor or Crimsom Flame and Goldeen who play like their male counterparts but are origional characters with their own identities and skillsets. But no, Neatherrealm just like Disney and seemingly all of modern media has this itch to make everything gay, trans or unnecessary identity changes. At this point, im not looking forward to anything new. I love my old ps1-ps3 games and I have a new appreciation for my ps3

I don't get the hate for the T-1000. One of the best action movie villains of all time from one of the greatest action movies of all time, with a lot of potential for moves and fatalities, sounds pretty awesome to me. I completely understand being annoyed at actual Mortal Kombat characters getting passed over all the time, but if there are gonna be guest characters, I think the T-1000 is pretty good pull.

I want to see your opinion if they gender bend Liu Kang or Shang Tsung. Technically gender is not essential to any characters in MK. But then again it's ABSOLUTELY essential to the fans. The two main reasons are because one Sektor and Cyrax are females and two they put another Arnold character in which I completely agree on because those are such bad moves, but I’m still excited for Noob, Ghostface and T1000

I was born in the 80's. I grew up with T2. And I can say T1000 should not be in Mortal Kombat. But that's just my opinion.
I was born in 2002 and I have never seen a terminator move in my entire entire life. I’m not old ass boomer. This is not stuff I mess with, the only reason why people buying know about the terminator is because his iconic character they need to start adding characters people up with at least like Goku Luffy characters like that. it looked like they were going to do that with the first combat pack because they added Homelander Omni man and peacemaker, but then they fumbled it by adding all these old irrelevant characters that no one cares about you an anime character from the 2010 guarantee you would get better sales.

Kameo characters need to be playable for a bigger roster in future dlc packs if mk1 is going to be supported longer and 1v1 needs to return and mk needs to go back to it's roots the darker gorier days of yesteryear midway setting and get tf away from WB mk needs a serious overhaul with every character and have more freedom to do what they want with their franchise without the control of WB
To me what was the point of FINALLY getting JCVD to be part of the game yet you make him a skin. A fuckin skin of another character when he could have legit been a DLC character playing the guy in Kickboxer and/or Uninversal Soldier. Two iconic parts he played. That’s all I’m saying. All I want is Shredder. We got TNMT in Injustice 2 so I’d love to have Shredder in an MK.

Regarding the guest characters, at this point I just think NetherRealm should do a Mortal Kombat-like game with horror licenses. They can easily do it and it would give them plenty of time to think ahead about the future of both Mortal Kombat & Injustice.
Also, it's crazy that the only game that did this is a fan-game named Terrordrome made by 2 dudes in Canada and it was awesome. The fact NRS didn't do anything like this when they can easily do it because of Warner Bros. is beyond me.

Yeah, genderswapping Sektor and Cyrax just kinda makes Triborg a solo character lol, which is cool in my opinion, I've always had Triborg as a main in MKX, the concept of a robot being able to perfectly mimic different fighter's way of combat just by studying how they move and fight, and being able to change his form or armour according to the fighter he selected has always been the coolest concept for me.
T-800 ironically is more melee based than the terminator. Hes a shapeshifter and is disguised as a cop to be incognito. Conan is the random one for me, just bring back Kotal Kahn at that point.

Cyrax and Sektor had backstory in a Chinese warrior clan... men... A woman wouldnt have had the opportunity to become the iterations of Cyrax and Sektor. And, Ghostface, eh..5/10. Conan- rather have Kotal Khan. And the T-1000, would rather have a new ninja with backstory with similar qualities and/or movesets like Krome. Want women in the game? Jade, Skarlet, D'vorah, female Nightwolf(because of the idea of it being a mantle, not a specific person.)
Jade becomes Tanyeesha 2.0 and Skarlet wears a full-blown hijab now.
Before MK1 released : "I wish the story was grounded and a nice Starting point for something simpler with lot of character development and proper Tournaments.
After MK1 released : "What is this Multiverse, Genderswap, Mobile Game progression, Unrewarding bullcrap stuff we paid for?!"
I can see them trying to make Hanzo sub zero in next game. I’d rather scorpion in this game hand over the scorpion mantle to Hanzo and become sub zero in hornor of his brother and try to use the sub zero mantle for good not “evil”. If we’re not re booting this time line. Which means there will be a jump in the future like mkx maybe not 20 years. At least ten because Hanzo is a kid atm.

In my experience of the MK Universe, I don't think anyone or anybody is scratching the surface of what they're seeing.
One, Sektor and Cyrax. Yes, they are women now, but if it's not them?! It could be their own daughters that's replacing them in the new era.
Two, Bi-Han has to die in order to turn into Noob Saibot. So it's safe to assume he will go back to be Sub-Zero again, right?!
And three, Guest Characters! WHO CARES!! As long as they have good gameplay, we can all be happy about until they announce Kombat Pack 3!

It would be nice if we got guest characters from other video games. Tired of seeing movie characters and also Conan seems like a last minute decision where they couldn't get any guests so they threw him in.

Noob has more likenesses to Ermac than himself, Cyrax said Sector could have been separated from 1 in this Pack and other KP3, T1000 I fear play mechanic's will be taken from between Terminator/Robo-cop and that just feels Lazy and Rushed as the how I feel about the entire Game! Lastly Ghostface intro was ok, but would have been better if it was Michael Myers Coming out of the Fog with the Iconic Halloween theme tune! Another missed opportunity! Mk1 has Sold incredibly well, but doesn't represent when you compare the data of players actually playing the game! In fact with the stat's of player base, you would think it didn't sell that well? Nearly 200GIGS later and the game is still empty! 4 out of 10 and that's Generous!

Not a fan of it, im a huge fan of Sektor since the beginning and i am extremely disappointed in what they done to both sektor and cyrax. If they wanted to bring more female characters in they could of used existing female characters that people want like Jade. Their designs look dumb but i guess that is an opinion of mine. Just hope we get the original Sektor and Cyrax skins later on or at least better looking female versions. But in the end i would rather have no Sektor and Cyrax at all if would of known this was what they were doing.
Kombat pack 2 is really nice imo but it’s just the game is so unenjoyable and there’s no grind like there was in 11 with kustomisation
Personally I hate grind, I just want to get all the skins and content easily and quickly without having to spend a lot time on grinding
