- Elizabeth Debicki chatted with Access Hollywood about portraying Princess Diana in the new season of "The Crown." The actress revealed that she never imagined this role would come her way and shared how it was a multi-step process to make it her own. Elizabeth also explained that she watched the late royal's infamous BBC interview "a lot" to prepare for the scene. Season 5 of "The Crown" is available to stream on Netflix.

I have been very impressed with Elizabeth. Actors are required to talk up their characters while doing press. Oftentimes this comes across as overblown or half-hearted, either because the character isn't that interesting, or the actor isn't. Not here. It's obvious she cared to perform with excellence, and she did it with an abundance of serious thought. She put a lot into this role and she got a lot out of it. I'm looking forward to watching her career in the future. Well done.
