At its core, Merrily We Roll Along is a show about friendship, and encourages audiences to think about their own friends in their life. Even as everything keeps changing, their friendships will be there if they nurture them.

I played Mary in the 1986 production of Merrily at TheaterWorks Silicon Valley! It was just TheaterWorks then. I even won best actress in a musical from the Bay Area Critics Circle Awards for my performance. We did it 5 years after the much maligned original production on Broadway. It holds a giant place in my heart. I don't have the money to get to NYC (I live in Oregon) but I am supporting and loving this cast and production with my whole heart. I just bought the cast recording. Of course the original cast recording is perfection to me (that overture and all those young voices❤️❤️) but this new one is brilliant!☺️
