940 Osborne, absolutley, hands down my favorite go to knife!! Good taste!! I have found my edc of a leatherman wave to be my second favorite due to the drivers, pliers and quick access to the blades. The mini truck brought me to your channel, but these little projects keep me coming back!! Keep up the good work!
Appreciate your kind words! I've always wanted to try the Wave. High marks coming from a fellow 940 lover, I may have to pull the trigger and give it a shot. Have some more mini truck content coming up. Thanks so much for watching!
They're great little saws. Getting harder and harder to find. This is the oldest one I have, stamped "Made in West Germany", before the wall came down. Appreciate you watching!
Intresting to see the newer Stihl has spring vibration for damping. For decades, that's been a key difference between stihl with rubber mounts and husqvarna with springs. Any time I've ran a stihl I get pains in my hand faster then a husqvarna. I've also noticed a vibration difference in the full to half rap handles. as 99% of the time I'm using a full. And it really stands out to me. . I run the "classic version" of the 372. Made 1997 to about 2010. After 2010 or so is when they started calling it an x-torque with the compression release on top. Not on the side. And standardized to all 365/372s being a 50mm piston. Not a range of 47 to 52mm as the old ones are. . OK that's my history lesson. LOL
@@FoxfireProjects a little less vibration from a full rap, thats what ive found over the last 20ish years. . I find the full handle on the husqvarna going all the way to the bottom absorbs a smidge more in my mind over a full on a stihl. But to me the difference in springs and handle is why i stay with the older saws. Plus there actually a few ounces lighter then the modern huskys. And are paid for. Just my 0.01c . Its kinda like comparing your favorite auto brand, LOL. once your used to it, its just what yea use.
No. Blew dust and debris from the saw prior to removing the filter for this reason. Then removed the filter and blew it out outside away from the open carb. Appreciate you watching!
When you order a truck load of logs, How far away do they come from? Do you advertise or is it just word of mouth ? Do you mess with tree service wood at all ?
Typically logs are fairly close. We work with a lot of small time clearing and grading contractors. Fuel and trucking prices keep the target area pretty tight around us. We do a bit of advertising through simple websites, but reputation and customer feedback has been the best marketing for us. We take lots of tree service wood. If it's not customer quality, we can always chunk it in the boiler wood pile. Can't be too picky these days. Always great to hear from you. Thanks so much for watching!
Please do "bore" me with a chain sharpening video. I am really good at sharpening most things, knives, lawn mower blades, scissors. On and on. But chainsaws? They are weird. I don't have the hang of them.
I'm no expert by any means. Pretty much fake it until I make it with saw chains. I keep them touched up as best I can, but not scared at all to throw on a new chain and go back to cutting. I hope to invest in a grinder setup soon. Will have that in an upcoming project. Always appreciate you watching!

See ya on the next project
Good job on overhauling the machines before work. When I have time I do this at the end of cutting.
Appreciate the kind words. I try to do this frequently, but often times it’s overlooked. Thanks so much for watching!
@@FoxfireProjects Now, not wanting to be boring, I want to congratulate you on the sense of tidiness that I appreciate so much. See you next time, HUG

Awesome, appreciate the info. I hear ya on the being paid for part, quality saws are big bucks these days!
are you concerned about blowing dirt into your carburetor when blowing the filter while still on the saw
