Mate! Beautiful film. My 3 year old son and i watched it together cuddled up on the sofa. You gave us a beautiful moment together and i wanted you to know and thank you for it. The amount of work you put into these videos is seen. Thanks for the incredible effort. You could get away with less shots but you choose to go the extra mile and make the video outstanding. Truly fantastic filmmaking brother!
Chris, thanks so much for this comment. It's amazing to hear that these videos can provide moments like this for people. Glad you enjoyed and really appreciate the kind words. Cheers sir!
Brae, your vibe is easily the most inspiring for photographers. I love watching your adventures and just wanting to go out and cop bangers. Cheers, mate!
LOL at the irony of the disappointment of not getting to 'cape disappointment' nice shots as always , the ones of the boat in the woods are my favorite 3:31 or maybe 14:27
The amount of time that goes into these videos is incredible. The wireless mic, I'm sure is a lifesaver. I would be interested in some footage of you carrying around the tripod everywhere. Just setting that up every time in every location is a lot. Not to mention the drone shots, editing, developing time, scanning, etc. Super well made videos and the shots taken are just beautiful.
Great video as always bro! I think my favorite photo from this one was the one at 6:48! The way the tree and all the greenery around it looks windswept is so cool!
hey Brae, absolutely love your videos man - the drone footage and b-roll really make it feel like we're there with you. keep doing what you're doing, more people will notice soon enough.
Cape Disappointment lighthouse is where many photographers get big wave shots. I spent a couple days in the park back in April 2021. Also saw that short shot of Port of Ilwaco. Caught the sunrise there for some spectacular morning light photographs. Great fun…
every time i watch one of your videos, it blows my mind how in one day you can set up the tripod and walk everything twice for the camera. get images. get drone shots. all solo adventure. Meanwhile i wake up, feed my cat, and i swear the day is over already. Great work as always.
Great video Brae. As others have mentioned your video work is as fantastic as your photography. Bust out that Olympus more often!! I love the contrast of that little Zuiko lens.
Sheesh Brae been killin it lately. Love Coho Sally man 👏 Have absolutely no idea how you fly the drone with your own car in the shot on a solo mission as well I struggle to do that in the passenger seat . Just sheesh.
Thanks Bronson! I am actually planning on putting out a mega video about the filming process in the next few months if I can find a couple of people to help me film it. Keep an eye out though!
Dude…I commented on your last vlog how your nighttime excursions are inspiring me to get off the arse and create something. Those last 12 comps put the nail in my coffin! Any updates on the legendary van? I’m needing a legendary van fix!
this definitely has to be one of my personal fav videos of yours so far!!! thinking of snagging a spot in the iceland trip too👁 do you know how long the early bird special is lasting? thanks and keep up the killer work dude!
Thanks Ashley! And awesome, would love to have ya! Early bird pricing will be available for the next five people who sign up! Let me know if you need any more info!
Damn, I don‘t know who I like and respect more, the photographer Brae or the videographer Brae. The footage on this one was fire, with the drone shots and everything, like a high class documentary. I also love how you choose the appropriate music to make this an all out experience. Concerning the photos, I always struggle with square formats, makes it difficult to compose for me. What are your thoughts on that? Also I‘m always amazed about how different the colors come out in the film shots vs. the video. And I think I said this already but I‘m super jealous of your home region: so diverse and so many cool spots. Please keep on spoiling us with your content
Thanks very much Christian! I found 6x6 pretty difficult at first but after shooting only that format for a while, it really started to grow on me. I also really like the slightly wider focal length on 6x6 (65mm). As with everything I photograph, I think I am just primarily looking for a balanced frame. When that comes together on 6x6 I think it's something special.
Normally I turn of a youtube video while doing homework or scanning film as background noise but your videos always seem to take away my attention, more so than the other photogs i watch
god your cinematography never fails to be absolutely breathtaking
I’ll say. He’s the best video producer on You Tube.
Thanks so much! Appreciate that 👊🏼

Brae’s boat photo > Leica’s 2022 Photo of the Year
hahaha wow thank you
Great new video dude!
I really love the coffee shack shot, the lighthouse and the first one you took at the marina :)
Cool choice of music as always.
Thanks for the feedback dude! Appreciate the support as always!
I can't decide whether it's the your videos that I love more or the photos or is it you?
Everything about you is FIRE 🔥
Ah thanks so much! Appreciate that!
Brae, your vibe is easily the most inspiring for photographers. I love watching your adventures and just wanting to go out and cop bangers. Cheers, mate!
Thank you very much sir. I appreciate the kind words ❤️
Got the kettle on for this one☕ once again quality stuff Brae. The little dock/marina at the end looked so peaceful, loved the shots ✌

Appreciate the feedback! ❤️

Great video as always bro! I think my favorite photo from this one was the one at 6:48! The way the tree and all the greenery around it looks windswept is so cool!

Thanks Bryan! You have to, really incredible out here :)
@@BraeHunziker Till then I'll have to live vicariously through your awesome videos!!
Beautiful! Finally took a break from today's football to watch the whole video on my big screen. Amazing. The photos around the harbor -- perfect.
Thanks Bob! How about that Bengals v Chiefs game! Was awesome. Hope ya had a great weekend!
hey Brae, absolutely love your videos man - the drone footage and b-roll really make it feel like we're there with you. keep doing what you're doing, more people will notice soon enough.
Thanks so much Harrison! Really appreciate that ❤️
Amazing cinematography and your stills are something else man. I am very hyped for your print shop!

Awesome video like usual those coastal towns are so mysterious, you truly have a gift for photography
Thank you :)
Great package drone photography, medium format. Excellent young brother.
Thanks!

Really want to get to Disappointment Lighthouse next time. Looks beautiful from the photos. Port of Ilwaco has some nice charm to it!
Those pier shots are nuts! Another incredible video.

Was actually just watching through all the videos of yours I'd missed and this popped up. Great stuff, man! Always inspiring
Haha love it! Thank you dude 🤙🏼
you’re the best youtuber in town mane!!
haha thank you!!
Great video Brae. As others have mentioned your video work is as fantastic as your photography.
Bust out that Olympus more often!! I love the contrast of that little Zuiko lens.
Thanks Greg! Appreciate that.
And I do need to shoot it more often! Love that camera.
So beautiful
Thank you ❤️
Sheesh Brae been killin it lately. Love Coho Sally man 👏 Have absolutely no idea how you fly the drone with your own car in the shot on a solo mission as well I struggle to do that in the passenger seat . Just sheesh.
Hahah thank you dude! Yeah those drone shots are a bit sketchy if I'm being honest 😂 The Air 2s has a really good tracking feature though.
I always look forward to a new Brae video. Great as always. Really love the way that your videos seem like honest storytelling.
Appreciate the feedback, thank you!
im new in here but love your photos man, great work, props from Portugal
Thank you Miguel! And welcome!
Did you correct the WB around 17:00 for the super warm lights on the dock? They look impeccable!
Didn't have to do much to that one I believe!
You crushed this video g
Thanks Tommy!
this video is so lovely
Thank you Sam!
Man I’ve been wanting to drive down there. Watching your video just hyped me up more to go!

Thank you!
Dude, this video just took a shitty day and made it better, the boats at the end man >>>>
So glad to hear that, thank you!
Brae, I think there are many people who would love to see your process in how you film your videos. Just saying. Amazing work my friend.
Thanks Bronson! I am actually planning on putting out a mega video about the filming process in the next few months if I can find a couple of people to help me film it. Keep an eye out though!

Ah thank you Gayle! Film renders those night scenes in such an incredible way. And yes there is actually an update coming in next week's video 🤠
Your videos make me want to go out and shoot. Sadly the weather is really shitty and I'm tied to my desk at work 😞
That's how many of the days are out here as well :/
Do you have any recommendations on books, classes, learning materials for photography? Thanks for the great content, inspirational.
Glad you're enjoying the vids Jacob! And truthfully, I have just learned everything through trial and error and here on UA-cam!
this definitely has to be one of my personal fav videos of yours so far!!! thinking of snagging a spot in the iceland trip too👁 do you know how long the early bird special is lasting? thanks and keep up the killer work dude!

Bro those night photos are freakin dope!!
What meter app do you use?
Thanks! Mylightmeter pro
woaawww
🤠
Holy crap, this is an awesome video. Tons of work to do. How long did it take you to cut and color grade it? Awesome work!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you! Total editing time on this one was probably 20 ish hours
edit: Maybe 12-15 haha can't remember exactly
Hey Brae loved the video and the work you’ve put into making them. What camera bag did you use in this video? It seems nice.
Thank you very much! This was the Canon Deluxe bag.
it's fun being early enough that nobody has been able to watch the whole video yet ✌🏼 I love your videos so much
edit: the cinematography was AMAZING
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed :)
hey Brea you can just charge your macbook with the usb c output it would be much more efficient that way... ;)
Is that a 220 back that you are using? Does it works with 120 film? Btw great video!🍻
Yep its a 220 back, works great with 120 film. just have to fire the shutter a few times at the end of the roll!

did you rate that fuji 400 in the trip at box speed? thanks
Rated it at 200!
@@BraeHunziker thanks for the quick response! love the videos ! i have the trip as well, my first rangefinder, and I love it!
Flying a drone over a windy coast is a ballsy move, my dude lol
Hahah yeah put a lot of faith in that little guy...
👍🏼
10:46 Yes, but can it run a coffee maker? That's THE most important question you should have answered up front. :) Who cares about drone batteries. :)
Hahaha you're right 😂
Why was it called Disappointment, because from what I saw, it was far from it.
Haha my thoughts exactly
Normally I turn of a youtube video while doing homework or scanning film as background noise but your videos always seem to take away my attention, more so than the other photogs i watch
Thanks so much for the nice comment. Really appreciate it!
