I was going to say that we don’t have that smoothie stuff at IKEA in the US (much like the beer in the previous video) but I just looked online, and to my surprise, my local IKEA sells it! I know they have the syrups, so I’ll just have to substitute the teas (they don’t carry it here) and brave the insanely long lines that are the hallmark of the Brooklyn IKEA.
Then you should make some pre-batched cocktail from one of my latest episodes, just to fight the waiting in the long lines 😁 If you will try it out, let me know how you like it 🥂
Those IKEA cocktails both seems delicious, I really couldn't decide. Gin pairs with tea and citruses VERY well, but I love tequila... Too hard, you're too good to choose ;) Also, I finally made yogurt liqueur! I added slightly more yogurt as I like the sourness, and also tried a heavy-vanilla (75ml vodka + same amount of vanilla pod used for 250). I loved them and so did anyone who tried them :)
I’d love to see an episode on a carbonized mezcal and watermelon cocktail (easy and hard version)! I struggle with over diluting when creating watermelon drinks
Random question, but have you experimented with clarified bitters before? I've just put an inverted old fashioned on the menu at my bar which I think would be right down your alley! Using milk to clarify angostura bitters to use as the base spirit, then combining that with a barrel aged simple syrup and a few dashes of gentian infused bourbon. Clarified angostura is one of the tastiest ingredients I've ever used, its bitters without the bitter!
Wow!! This looks amazing! I will have to try this out. Can you carbonate any cocktail? How long do the sodas last in bottle? Can I make them a month in advance and still have them for a party? Thanks!!
Hi. This one should be good for a couple of weeks if stored in clean bottles and a refrigerator. You can carbonate clear cocktails. Co2 doesn't hold well to solids in a drink.
I got it at a specialty store for winemakers, but I've posted a link to amazon in another episode with it (Caipirinha) - geni.us/LeuIeX5 (it's an affiliate link) Cheers!
I read some books. Flavor matrix is one of them and it is super good. Although I didn't go to school for that so it's more or less learning by trial and error.

I'm Team Red all the way - there's something magical about the combination of smoke, strawberry & rhubarb! 🤤
It was a hard choice, but I prefer Yellow 😉. Sorry dear
yellow team seems really nice but i'm gonna have to go with the red team!
Nice! Cheers!
Team yellow

I am so happy to hear that! Thank you for trying it out! Cheers!
Great video, Kevin! IKEA needs to hire you as their beverage director!
Haha. Do you think Ikea has a yellow suit with blue stripes for me? Otherwise, I am not going 😃 Cheers!
@@KevinKos Haha, they better! You'd have to assemble it yourself at home though!
This is such a unique and fun idea! Great work Kevin very impressive! Team red just hold the mezcal. 😄
What a good idea! I always look first yo your videos. Edit: team red!!!
Nice! Thank you!
Red Team. Definitely seems to be a bit more of that fruit forward taste which I always prefer in my cocktails.
The combination of berries, rhubarb and smoke really make it something special. Great choice, Dalton, cheers!
Red sounds up my alley👍
As I don't really like Tequila, I'll pick team yellow! Although I would like to try the red one, it sounds pretty good as well...
Thank you!
So you comment that they yellow is mango forward. I would love to see a riff on a mango lassie with the yogurt liquor you previously made.
Wesley check out Booze on the Rocks, he made a cocktail called the Blue Lassi, using my Yogurt Liqueur (no mango though 🙈)
You are a crazy genius! My favorite
Thank you!
Plz do some FERNET CON COCA
Beautiful cocktails kevin can't wait to try them
Thanks!
I Made It Yesterday with similar ingredientes , was amazing❤️
That's great to hear, tell us what you used! 🤩
I've seen these short, wide cocktail glasses on a few channels now and I dig them. Anyone know where they're from?
It's Bormioli Rocco Bodega glass. Cheers!
Team yellow! Although red was good too. 😜
😊🥂
great episode again. always appreciate. super enteraining and informative. thanks and cheers
Thank you! Cheers!
Team Yellow! 😄 Thanks for the amazing video, creative and useful ideas as always! 🚀
Oh my God! It's like choosing between Yellow and Red M&M's. Impossible
I’d love to see an episode on a carbonized mezcal and watermelon cocktail (easy and hard version)! I struggle with over diluting when creating watermelon drinks
Thank you for the idea. Cheers!
As always a perfekt video! Thanks

Awesome video
Love these options! Just another reason for me to go to Ikea!
How long will they last on the shelf and how long in a refrigerator? And what should you add to make it last longer?

... Red team by the way...
Wow!! This looks amazing! I will have to try this out. Can you carbonate any cocktail?

Team Red 😎 it's hard to beat mezcal
I agree with you! 😎
algorithm do your thing
Thank you!
hi Kevin, could you please send me the link for those little beer bottle?
Thanks
It's a reused Thomas Henry bottle.
Was waiting for a burp from behind the camera at the end 🤣
🤣
how long will these bottled cocktails last?
Awesome. How long will these last for?
I should be good for a month.
Well I KNOW me and I would pick Red. 1. It’s my color and 2. I love strawberries and smoky taste. My wife would probably want the mango one
Cheers!
May i ask whats the shelf life of these 2 great drinks sir ?
At least 3 weeks.
Can I chill at the Ikea bar while my wife navigates the maze of Lego furniture?
That's the dream scenario, right? We should pitch that to IKEA! 😎
Where did you get the pectinex?☺️
I got it at a specialty store for winemakers, but I've posted a link to amazon in another episode with it (Caipirinha) - geni.us/LeuIeX5 (it's an affiliate link)

Did you go to school for knowing what taste goes with what or is just trial and error?
I read some books. Flavor matrix is one of them and it is super good. Although I didn't go to school for that so it's more or less learning by trial and error.
I’m a IKEA-racist, but maybe I like this cocktails
Yellow or red one? 🤔
third
Fun fact, in Sweden we call Cocktails "Cocktails" It's so crazy i know...
Am I the first?
congratulations
@@anclittler6382 sad I know, but I did it for the algorithm
@@jimbodimbo981 same: even when I just find the drink interesting and have nothing to add, he just deserves the boost
I love you guys! Cheers!
I'm having a brain aneurysm trying to conceptualize how to pronounce "tåil"
IKEA aren’t allowed to sell alcohol in a majority of the world so this idea won’t ever see fruition
KEVIN!!! I'd def catch a flight for a drink with you and the gang!!! Great video!! CHEERS!!!!
You are always welcome here Tim!
