Hi, pretty good review. I'm a content creator too and will use my M2 base model MacBook Air 15" for occasional photo and video edits. It won't replace my main work horse 2021 M1 iMac with 16GB of RAM and 1TB SSD. I've watched several reviews of the base model M2 MacBook Air 15" and some of them are mentioning that it can handle some heavy lifting. Enjoyed watching your review and I'm all for supporting small channel YTers like myself - new friend, new subscriber! Peace. 💜
The 15" Macbook Air has much bass compared to the 2020 M1 13" Macbook Air. Night and day difference. and I am so glad that I upgraded. I will be keeping this Macbook for a while. I stayed clear from the Midnight due to the fingerprints that other reviewers mentioned. So, I ended up with the Starlight version and don't regret it. Fingerprints are almost non-existent. The Starlight model has a champaign-like color, which I like very much.
@@NedsonMonteiro nice! ill check your page out. I used the air to edit a few videos, it worked well because there wasn't any over heating since I was using it for very short sessions. For my M2 MacBook pro, when it overheats the performance of video editing does go down drastically so you'll definitely want to optimize airflow when working with the air if you choose to get it
@@rjgrubb Starlight! I am using it right now :) Will have to get used to it. I am switching from a 2017 lenovo legion y520. The sound is so much better on the macbook. Love it!

Please get a higher wattage power brick. The one the that you have is going to charge super slow it going to take like 2hours 30min to charge

Do you think it will slow down if you use ot for editing like finalcut?
it wont slow down the computer but if it overheats it can. using the computer for long periods of time will cause overheating
