I saw her speak in San Francisco couple years ago. She was FranTastic! So brutally honest and funny to boot. I would pay to see her anywhere! If I’m ever in NY, I’m definitely gonna see if she is speaking anywhere. She is gold nuggets for the wise!❤

Since Fran Lebowitz is not on social media I cannot tell her directly how much I agree with her "environmentalism". I, too, never had children, but I do have an AC that I frugally use only during heat waves. Not having any children may not absolve all my actions, but it's the greatest contribution to the environment I could've made.

Factory farming is the second leading cause of climate change so one can arguably make the same difference just by going vegan. :)

@@jamk2668 I grew up on a farm and resent that industry enormously. I agree that a vegan diet is definitely a lighter imprint. Just made the switch to quasi-vegetarian. Not courageous enough to go head first. Baby steps.

Nice to see Fran laughing. Didn't seem happy when she visited Australia recently. Possibly because organisers didn't allow live questions. Questions were scanned through to Fran from the foyer, before the show.
The way jimmy hosts and conan hosts both inspires me in different ways. I even started my own show with that inspiration. I know fallon does have cringy moments, but you cant deny that he is a “friendly” one.
I don't find Seth Meyers or Stephen Colbert as cringy. What I love about Seth is how he doesn't use cards. He's prepared in advance making the interviews more natural. And Stephen. Well, he's just an encyclopedia of knowledge.

One thing you may have not known about Fran: She used to write for porn magazines when she was young and penniless, and she drove a cab. I heard it on her PBS interview with Terry Gross years ago.
